The best part about this condo is the location. We love Sugar Beach and having direct access (literlly 20 steps) to the beach makes this area our go to place in Maui. This was our first stay at Kihei Sands and the property was very good.The condo itself felt spacious and had all the amenties we expected. The loft king bed was very comfortable. The property was clean but is showing its age in the bathrooms and kitchen. We didn't use the balcony much as the view was not great. We much preferred to walk 20 steps to the main patio area. The main area was generally pretty quiet, with the bulk of the people arriving to watch the sunset. The pool was great and the kids enjoyed using all the items that were left behind by previous guests...boogie boards, fins, pool noodles etc. There were also beach chairs, sun screen etc. that guests could utilize. Overall we would come back to the Kihei Sands again!

Our stay was amazing, The beach and pool is your backyard and the amenities are great. The condo was nicly accommodating for our family of 2 adults and 2 young adults. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We were sad to leave but are looking forward to returning soon. THANK YOU KIHEI SANDS!!

Perfect spot central to Maui for our Bike trip. Easy access to restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach and ocean front pool. Couldn’t really ask for much more. Great value and super friendly onsite property manager.

Super clean, beautiful beach, all the amenities we needed
Five of us stayed in B2 for six nights and we had a fantastic time. We cooked together and had all the equipment we needed. The beds and bathrooms were clean and well supplied. The air conditioners worked well, especially on 85+ days. Kihei is set up for families and relaxation. We loved it!

Perfect spot central to Maui for our Bike trip. Easy access to restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach and ocean front pool. Couldn’t really ask for much more. Great value and super friendly onsite property manager.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo was located in a good location on Sugar Beach. The kitchen was stocked well with plates, glasses, pots, pans bowls and other amenities. The welcome gifts of coffee and candy were a nice touch. We enjoyed the patio with the grill, eating area. I would recommend that they obtain some better quality/nicer chaise lounges. A couple of them were broken and the rest were very uncomfortable to sit in.Out of the 10 days I stayed there, I could not contact anyone at the office ever. The door to the office was always closed and locked with no explanation as to why it was closed during the hours it was posted to be open. The change machine downstairs ran out of coins because the office was unexpectedly closed and we could not do laundry. Other than those issues, the location was clean and quiet. I would recommend this location.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Kihei Sands! Although we have rented man units on our travels, this was among our favorites! The grounds were lovely and well maintained. The other guests were friendly and respectful. Sadly, recent storm damage impacted ALL first level units. We stayed on the second floor. Many perks were enjoyed such as a closet full of beach toys, free shared sunscreen available, grills, the list goes on and on. The beach is walkable, swimable, and large. We had such a great time. I hope to be back!

This 2 bdrm condo B2, is charming, clean, well equipped and right on the beach. It also had 3 air conditioner units. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee every morning to greet the day, right on Sugar Beach. I would stay here again! Mgrs Connie and Patrick are the best!

We have coming to Kihei since 1991...30 years! We've never had a bad experience. Condos are clean, spacious, well-equipped, and absolutely the best location! We stayed in B2 this time and it was wonderful! We'd definitely rent and recommend this one again. Big plus is that it's carpeted, so no dragging chairs across tile floors and disturbing the downstairs neighbors. The view is just fine, and honestly the lanai is a bit more private than the Sugar Beach side, in our opinion. Updated kitchen with everything thing you need. Large comfy couch. We just loved this unit! These condos have a homey feel. You get to know the other people staying there, unlike in larger properties. Patrick was so accommodating with anything we needed. Oh, and don't miss out on Dina's Sandwitch next to the Sugar Beach Complex! Great Mai Tais, atmosphere, and food!!

We wanted to find a location that would make it easy to travel around the island - sort of an in-between spot. This was everything we needed! The location was perfect. The condo was clean and stocked with everything you need. The personal beach access was AMAZING! It's not rocky - all sand - perfect or boogie boarding. It was seriously such an incredible experience. We also were concerned that we weren't going to find a location that could perform another travel safe COVID test (we were also flying to Kauai) and the staff actually researched and printed available locations for us! Talk about exceptional service! If we're ever in Maui again, this will be the place!

Awesome stay
Kihei Sands worked wonderfully for our family. We were very comfortable, and we saw the whales nearly every day from the lovely lanai. We'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!
The property is much smaller than surrounding big properties and that's a PLUS! It's nice. It's super compact. We had everything we needed, except a coffee maker - which someone before us must've taken (?) - but the staff went out and got us a new one before day's end. Super nice staff on property too!

This was our fourth stay at Kihei Sands. When we started planning our Maui trip Kihei Sands is the only place we considered. Its location is convenient, the units themselves are always comfortable and have everything we need.The patio off the beach offers a great place to relax in the sun, watch the sunsets or mingle with the other guests.
