This property exceeded our expectations in all ways. The location is excellent, close driving to anything we needed. The home itself was amazing, plenty of room, mid century style, a great feel, and stocked with everything we needed and more. Wholeheartedly recommend this VRBO.

This was our third time staying at this property. The pool and grounds are quiet. We usually had the pool to ourselves. The unit is close to all sorts of restaurants, stores, etc. The owners are very nice and always leave a generous basket of goodies!

Appreciated this location due to its walking proximity to excellent hiking trails, shopping, and the wonderful Civic Center Park and San Pablo shops. Everything we needed was within 4 miles. Fully stocked vacation house that provided a great getaway.

Overall this unit was a perfect place to stay. Access to grapefruit, orange, and lemon trees each morning was exceptional! We were four friends sharing, two of which were a couple. So having three beds worked perfectly. It was a short walking distance to restaurants and shops. This unit would work for a friends get-away or for a family. Two thumbs up!

Everything always goes smoothly. Any issues get resolved right away. Love the location….for hiking, shopping, dining!

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo. Jeff and Donna are always very nice. The location is very very quiet. It’s a pod with condo surrounding a central pool and most of the time, in fact all except one day, we were the only ones in the pool. Very quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for somewhere just to soak in the sun and take a dip in the pool, and stay at a cool mid century modern place that’s really close to everything, this is the place for you.

What a great place! I appreciated the host and his communication. He used the VRBO comm tools but he also sent me a text a few days before check in so I’d have his number. He replied quickly and took care of any questions/problems we had! Perfect! The condo was super clean. I usually feel like I have to clean when I get to a rental but not here. The WiFi worked well. I had class work and some work zoom meetings and it was fine. The kitchen was well equipped. The Sandpiper location is great - you can walk to many places - and the pool is very nice. The condo was a little hard to find the first time - park in the first spots in driveway D and walk along the sidewalk to the green doors. Can’t wait to return!

Lots of open space for the kids. Well maintained pool and surroundings. Clean condo. We particularly liked moving easily between the pool area and the patio.

Incredibly clean overall. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including spices, coffee filters, etc. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Pool was perfect.... very quiet and relaxing during our stay. There are citrus fruit trees on the property (grapefruit, lemons, limes, oranges) for the picking. The location can't be beat.... very close to boutique shopping, grocery store right across the street, many restaurants within walking distance, hiking trails about a mile or two away.

We really enjoyed out stay! Great communication with the host, perfect location in Palm Desert and well equipped, beautiful condo! Loved the decor and private outdoor area with BBQ.

Four of us ladies stayed here during the Indian Wells tournament. It was a smooth arrival, very clean, updated, decorated well, super comfortable beds, incredible location next to restaurants and shops and owners were super helpful when we thought we left something behind. We didn't use the pool but it looks great. We will definitely stay here again!

Another great stay here. We have now stayed twice in about two months. This place has the best location for being within walking distance of everything. Nice clean house and a great pool.

This was our first stay anywhere in more than a year due to COVID so we took a long time deciding on a place for a relaxing long weekend. This condo unit at the Sandpiper deVelopment was a great match. The place was in great condition when we arrived and had everything needed for a restful stay. We didn’t need our car to get to shopping and restaurants. Everything you need is within walking distance.The unit was steps away from the pool which was empty for the most part. The grounds were gorgeous and full of the most immaculately cared for citrus trees I’d ever seen. We picked oranges and grapefruit every day for juice and snacking. The beds were really comfy and the water pressure in the shower was great.Jeff was very responsive and great to work with. He answered all of our questions promptly and even had a basket of snacks on the table when we arrived. That was a lifesaver after getting in late when most stores were closed. I see repeat trips to the area in our future and this unit is at the top of lodging options. Can’t wait to come back.

The condo is far more impressive than the on-line pictures. The condo has a lot of natural light, great water pressure, a very comfortable bed and is very quiet for sleeping! The condo is well appointed and the grounds of the community are beautiful and immaculate!

Jeff and Donna's Sandpiper condo is the ultimate mid-century vacation spot, and we had the most relaxing and fun stay. The kitchen is beyond well-stocked, the beds are soooo comfy, and the Sandpiper condo experience as a whole was delightful. The owners are communicative and responsive, and we hope to stay here again. We have rented many VRBO rentals, and this is at the top of our list!

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, easy access to stores and sunny back patio.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the historic Sandpiper and it did not disappoint. The layout, pool, fruit trees, views and proximity to El Paseo are all terrific. This unit is well-stocked with everything you need and the master bed is extremely comfortable. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!
