Crystal Hotel is fantastic value for money. Clean rooms in a perfect location make this an ideal place to stay in Aqaba on a budget.

it wasn’t clean, no Wi-Fi connection and no fan inside a bathroom without windows

The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect. The hotel was right across from the public beach and also to the market area, where many restaurants and shops were located. Also, it was about a 15 minute-walk from the JETT bus station and 7 minutes walk from the public bus station, where you can catch busses to Wadi Rum and Petra. The facilities at the hotel were pretty good. The rooms I stayed were clean and functional, although they were relatively small.

Two things could have been better. The first time I stayed, the wi-fi connection in the room was so bad that I had to work in the lobby, where it was noisy at times. The second time I stayed, I could get a decent wi-fi connection in the room. So, it seemed like it depended on the location of the room. The second problem was breakfast. One day, because they didn't have too many guests, they didn't have fresh bread when I went to the restaurant for breakfast. Also, tea and coffee were not ready. It was around 7 am when they opened for breakfast. I'm sure they got fresh bread later on. But, considering the fact that there were several bakeries around the corner, they should have made sure to get the fresh bread the first thing in the morning.

Excellent location, very clean, comfortable bed, kettle in the room, all appliances including tv and air conditioning operational, good wifi, decent breakfast included in price, very nice and friendly staff, and this is absolutely the best value for money in Aqaba. Will come again and highly recommend!
