We stayed a week with our 2 kids and grandparents. The view from the cabin is spectacular and the community is very welcoming. Perfect distance from the town of Walker which had a good selection of restaurants and stores. Would highly recommend Chuck’s cabin for a nice family getaway or a couples retreat.

We will book at Chuck's cabin next time we vacation at Leech Lake. Chuck had excellent communications and the booking process and instructions were a breeze! The cabin was updated, cleaned and well stocked with every dish, pot and appliance (even a Keurig) you could need. The beds were very comfortable with great bathrooms. The outdoor furniture was perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The view from the balcony and upstairs bedroom was amazing! We stayed over the July 4th and the street was so great with entertainment and fun people. There was adequate parking available at the cabin. Next time, we will plan to take advantage of the dock and boating availability.

1. GREAT VIEW!! 2. Top notch fishing 200 yards from the dock (3) 25" walleyes caught 3. Power boat lift was a BIG + 4. There is electrical plug in for charging your boat 5. Neighbors were all very nice 6. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need 7. Daughter loved having her own space downstairs 8. The whole cabin was very renovated and nice Chuck was very easy to communicate with and checked in with us to see if there may be anything we needed. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be planning another visit.

Great cabin with amazing views. It was easy to relax and enjoy lake life for a little while. The host was easy to communicate and friendly, as were the neighbors. Definitely a place to put in repeat.

We had a great time at Chuck's lake house. Everything was as expected, everything worked perfectly, and all the amenities were great. Chuck even provided extra propane tanks in case we ran out while grilling (we didn't) and even zip lock baggies for our grilling leftovers. Chuck thought of everything from extra towels to Keurig cups for our morning coffee. Really felt like we were at home. We will definitely rent Chuck's lake house on our next trip to Leech Lake. Thank you Chuck!

What can I say. This was by far the best cabin we have ever stayed at. Chuck made sure we were well taken care of. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need and more. Fans in the closet, extra blankets, extra pillows and gas grill to mention a few. The view was remarkable to say the least! The dock was not out yet but chuck to care of that and paid for a slip space for our boat. Could not have asked for more. I highly recommend staying there to anyone but hate to share a good thing since we would have a harder time getting to stay there ourselves. But a good thing must be said. Thanks Chuck for having us there and we will be staying there again.

Chuck's Lake House is an absolutely perfect place for a getaway! Everything was as listed and there was nothing, other than food, that was needed. A VERY clean and well taken care of property. Chuck has the house stocked perfectly and everything was easy to find. The views were gorgeous, especially from the Master Bedroom. Chuck kept in touch and was easy to contact if we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Chuck's Lake House!

This was our first time using VRBO. We had a great stay. Everything was as it was it listed on VRBO. There were no surprises. We loved the view and how quite the neighborhood was. Jeff B.

We enjoyed our stay at Chucks cabin. One of the best experiences by far, from large bay windows with a view of the lake, all of the amenities anyone can ask for, warm and cozy, the temp dropped 50 degrees over night on of the days! The fishing wasn't the greatest probably because of the temp swings but everything else was good, the only other thing that our german shepherd kept wanting to go to neighbors yard to potty since there isn't much yard space, the cabins are very close to one another. Definitely will be back in the summer

Two friends so enjoyed our winter getaway at this fantastic home! Home was beautiful and sparkling clean! Comfortable beds with cozy bedding. Gorgeous views from every lakeside window - view from the upstairs master suite was incredible! Fun area for outdoor activities. Home is fully stocked to make your vacation carefree. Chuck was wonderful! We can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful view of sunrise from upstairs!! Owner VERY accommodating, even made phone calls for us to find out what was open for restaurants and bait shops since was so late in season. Had everything we could possibly need for our stay provided on site. We had planned to stay 2 nights but couldn’t possibly leave this wonderful haven in Whipholt right on the lake in such a short time. We stayed 2 more nights and enjoyed fishing out in front of the cottage. Even though the dock was already out my partner caught a big Pike casting off shore and our dog Remi enjoyed watching the Loons and ducks as they passed by too. Walker is only a short drive away if you do need anything. We will definitely be back again!!

Chuck's cabin was the perfect place to relax. It had everything we needed to have a great time. We were visiting for a fishing trip. I forgot zip lock bags to take sandwiches out when fishing but Chuck didn't. I looked around the kitchen and there they were in 3 different sizes. Yes this is a great place to stay. We have never sat on a deck so long watching the waves come in and watch the loons fish. Relaxing, beautiful views and great neighbors if you need any help. Thank you Chuck for letting us stay at home on the lake

Chuck has thought of everything. Not just linens and towels, but a house that's ready to go--just add food. The paddle boards, dock, kayak spaces, nearby beach were terrific. Neighbors were friendly. A great place away from it all.

I traveled with my husband and another couple for a 4 night get away. We found the accommodations to be fantastic with a beautiful house right on the Lake of Leech Lake. The house itself was fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay. The location was great! The Marina was close by so we rented a pontoon for half a day. We also went to Forestedge Winery .We had a great time and hope to book for a long weekend this coming Winter. I would recommend this place to couples and families.

Wonderful property. Perfect 7 day getaway and looking forward to doing it again. Every convenience of home and a beautiful view of the lake. Chuck was a super host.
