We had an amazing time here! The place had everything we needed! Very clean loved that every room had its own bathroom. Perfect for our rainy vacation because we were able to go to the warm pool/spa in between rain storms and got in quick hikes throughout the day! We love that we can bike anywhere from there! Can’t wait to go back when there is snow!

We have rented multiple properties at this resort, and this was the best so far. Clean, roomy and easy check-in. Loved having bathrooms en suite and tvs in each bedroom as well. Kids loved easy access to Tree Tops and the pool/hot tub!

The unit was just perfect for us and our friends. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a big plus. The staff at Granlibakken were friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and the ability to get to downtown Tahoe City so easily, just a brief walk to the trail and you're there! No complaints!

What an amazing experience at this VRBO location. Although an older residence, it was very quaint and homie. We were able to enjoy the quieter side of Tahoe. The gym and pool were minimal but perfect for what we were looking for. Hot tub was amazing! I would definitely recommend this for those looking for a relaxing location.

Property was well-maintained and has all the basics to cook at home if needed! We lost power for a day during a gnarly storm (the whole resort was out) but had no issues otherwise! Would definitely book again.

Nice unit in a great location. We had 3 friends on a winter ski trip and it was a little snug in the common area. Kitchen and bathrooms could also use some updating to help it stand out. All in all a nice place to stay.

Wish there had been more pictures so I could have seen two bedrooms were upstairs, had to get someone to help with our luggage since all there of us in our late 70's. Otherwise lovely.

The Granlibakken was a wonderful place to stay. We saw bear, many birds and enjoyed the wonders of nature that surrounded us. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond when we had a question. I would recommend this property very highly.

It can always be a little dicey when renting a place out however this place did not disappoint at all. The first thing we noticed was how clean this unit was when we arrived. In no way did it feel like it was run down or overused but instead very well kept up. It was nice to have a kitchen with plenty of utensils and cooking ware for are used in the morning time. The location was great and if you have kids it was nice to have a pool to relax in and a rope course directly across from where we were staying. This by far was one of the nicest and cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in and highly recommend it .

This condo at Granlibakken provided a quiet retreat at a great value. We truly enjoyed our time with family. It was also a great place to explore in the spring and provided short drive to many other great locations. Our host was great whenever we had questions. They responded quickly and professionally. We will stay here again when we come back to this area.

This property was perfect for me, my husband, a 4 year old and 1 year old twins. It is easy walking distance to the check in, breakfast, and sledding hill. Furniture is comfortable, sturdy, and simple so you don’t have to worry about the toddlers. I loved that you can even lock yourself into the living area so curious babies can’t open the door and go for the stairs. Thank you!

We loved staying at this property. It’s clean, convenient and well stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Everything was right here - sledding, skiing, restaurant and pool. We’ll come back again!

Condo was perfect for a two night stay with family (2 adults, 2 kids) for skiing at Palisades Tahoe. Convenient 15 minutes from the ski slopes, and 5 minutes to downtown Tahoe City. Condo was spacious and everything in good condition, check in was easy. Highly recommended!

This was our second time spending Christmas week at this Granlibakken condo & again it was memorable! Our quiet, relaxing family trip was extended when we were snowed in & trapped by the closing highways. Our host, Caitlin was very considerate in allowing us to wait out the storm & highway closures a few extra days before checking out. We cannot say enough about her hospitality & our magical week at Granlibakken! We hope to enjoy another trip here in the future.
