You can always tell when you stay at a property that is an investment property versus someones vacation home. This home is an amazing vacation home. The owners have thought of everything you need and take a lot of care in keeping the property updated. Great location with a beach you can float in all day.

Hart house did not dissapoint! We loved the outdoor space, the view was breathtaking and we found good snorkeling spots to the left and right of property. We actually thought the inside was bigger then what the pictures showed so that was a happy surprise!

Hart house is absolutely amazing! It is in a great location and the beach is stunning. It is very laid-back and private, and we had a wonderful time and made amazing memories! We will definitely be back!

A beautiful house, in a lovely location. The hoyse is extremely well appointed and all the bedrooms are the same size. The local rep and the owner have been kind and helpful and very prompt with their responses, enhancing our stay. Cant recommend it highly enough.

After researching every rental in Exuma we chose Hart House for our multigenerational family vacation. From first contact the owner of the home was so hospitable and went to great lengths to describe the home lay out to me so i could feel confident we picked the perfect home for our vacation and one that my father with mobility issues would be safe in. The pictures on the site do not do this home justice! The outdoor space is so comfortable with so many seating options (in the sun or the shade), an amazing pool and pool deck, covered bar with extra refrigerator just steps from the ocean! There are even corals just in front of the house so we could snorkel daily and see lots of cool fish, coral and turtles. Internet and netflix worked great so the teens were even happy. Location was great for food options with Eva’s across the street (you must get a few loaves of her fresh baked bread), Coco plum bistro next door, Big D’s and light house cafe about 2 minutes down the street. We look forward to booking this home next year for our return to the island!

I looked at several homes before settling on this one. The four master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms sold it for our family of three adult couples. This is the best equipped home I have ever rented in the states as well as abroad. The kitchen has everything you need including a large selection of spices for cooking. The biggest asset is the host, Onike. We hired her and Randall for four AMAZING family style meals! We had plenty of leftovers between meals. We also ate dinner at several restaurants including Grand Isle Palapa, Cocoa Plum Bistro, peninsula bar and Big D’s. We enjoyed Evas directly across the street for fresh bread and lunches. Although good at those places Onike’s food was the most delicious of all and they serve you and clean up afterward. If you do one thing, make sure you take advantage of this service. You wont regret it. Triple A adventures for the shark, pig, iguana, grotto tour was our best adventure. Captain Mal and crew were amazing and made our private full day trip fun and memorable. Kenzee’s playhouse for cornhole rental was a blast. We had it our entire trip and played in the rain under the porch, along the poolside and on the beach. Each time it was a new game as the nylon bounced differently on each surface ensuring we never got bored. Dive Exuma is the best for diving. Reef and wreck offered! We rented from Tracey Styles paddleboards and clear kayaks. My only warning: the paddleboards were good but the kayaks that we rented were in poor condition and expensive. We canceled them after our first day as one of the seat connectors was so frayed it broke while out, there is no placement for feet for the person in the back and was not an enjoyable experience. Tracy would not return our monies sighting “policy” which is crap and not good business so would not recommend that. The beach and pool were the best location. Away from the bustle in a quiet safe neighborhood. The cove is protected and you can snorkel right in front of the house in 3 different locations. We enjoyed “saving” the hermit crabs from the pool each morning, were visited by a single ray almost daily, saw many fish including lion fish in the coral in front as well as visited by a seaturtle and a momma dolphin and her baby. The beach is amazing! Miles of soft sand and an easy walk to Big D’s, Cocoa Plum and Peninsula bar. Im out of room but rent this home! You will not be disappointed! Beds are great and very clean.

This was our first trip to Exuma but it certainly won’t be our last. The island is beautiful, the people of Exuma are so welcoming, and this house is magnificent! Super convenient location. We had a car the whole week and drive the whole island and saw Barraterre to Little Exuma. The bakery across the street is awesome and Cocoplum Bistro was walking distance too. The house had everything we needed and more. There were dozens of beach towels, generous about of bath towels, essentials, anything you needed for cooking was there too. You can see from the pictures it’s beautiful. The pool is off the charts. We loved the floaties. The beach is rarely crowded and safe to walk along at any time. It was paradise!

We cannot say enough about our visit to Exuma and to the Hart House. The home has four identical rooms (although 2 face the water and 2 face the garden area in the front and one of those rooms has a bathtub along with the shower). King size beds, en suite bathrooms, individual air conditioning and light controls, individual laundry baskets and hair dryers, individual televisions, closets . . . just perfect--all of them! The living space allowed us all to gather and watch TV in the evenings. The kitchen allowed us to only eat out two times in a week! We cooked everything. We used the refrigerator, their appliances (has everything you could think of except a blender), the stove, microvave, oven, dishwasher. A house cleaner came and tidied up for us every day that we needed her to (we requested every other day)! She did all of our laundry, made our beds, cleaned the floors, tidied the kitchen--and I'm sure more that I didn't even notice! The outside area has its own refrigerator and ice maker, blow up floats, a air blower thing to make that easier. We absolutely enjoyed staying by the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean--stunning view and stunning comfort. A salt water pool that you can see the ocean from! I prefer the ocean myself, so I would go out there, snorkel a little, walk a little, lie on a float a little, and then come back to (having seen almost no one the whole time!) the Hart House to one of the two outdoor showers to get rid of sand, and head up a few stairs to lounge in the pool. Amazing. We absolutely are coming back (God willing!) and bringing our family. We may need to houses, but we will anchor ourselves at the Hart House again and every time we come to Exuma. I cannot imagine a happier 30 year anniversary vacation for my husband and I and our friends who joined us to celebrate. He loves the pool, and I love the ocean. This place allowed us each to Thrive!! alongside each other!! The caretaker (Onike) did a great job of taking care of us, bringing us our groceries, communicating with us via WhatsApp, and the owner (John) also was generous, kind, helpful. Best Vacation Ever!

What can I say to properly do this property justice… Probably nothing but I will give it a try! The pictures don’t quite do the fact that the beach is just two steps from the edge of the infinity pool. The outdoor space is just incredible. Perfect for couples or family trips as all 4 bedrooms are the same, each equipped with a great on-suite bathroom. The property managers are a delight as well. Exuma has a very special place in this well-traveled heart of mine. :)

We enjoyed our ten day stay at the Hart House. An easy 10/15 minute drive or taxi ride from GGT airport and situated on beautiful cocoplum beach. The house was well laid out for our party of three families. The bathroom with a shower/tub combo was ideal for our children as we couldn’t find many rentals having this feature. With direct access to the beach and a pool on site we were able to enjoy long lazy days enjoying the beautiful Bahamian weather. Surrounding the property we found Eva’s, The Coco Plum, and the Peninsula Bar all very good options for food. Big Ds Conch shop and Lighthouse ice cream were a ten minute walk down the beach or a short drive. Traveling into George Town for groceries and our excursions was about a 25/30 minute drive one way and to head down to Tropic of Cancer beach and Santana’s was about an hour one way. Hart House has a lot of great features for families, the walk ability to great local dining and being able to enjoy easily prepared meals on your great outdoor beach patio. Our only feedback we would leave to management would’ve been to see an update to the bedroom mattresses and couches. A little to hard for our party, we understand that these are personal preferences, and the couches seemed quite dated. This however did not detract from our overall wonderful experience at the Hart House and in Exuma. What a wonderful house, management, and island. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Perfect! Love how the house is set up with bedrooms and bathrooms on each side of the kitchen/living area. The beach is amazing and right out the back door with the infinity pool overlooking the beach. The outside bar was a great place to sit and take it all in! We had air conditioning issues on arrival, but it was taken care of quickly. Awesome property!

The view, the beach, the pool, the bar area, all were amazing! We were there for 10 days and spent most of our time outside when we were "home". Great location, we love the island and will definitely be back. Eva's place across the street has amazing food. Check out the breakfast sandwiches... Best bread on the island! Hart House is a slice of heaven you never need to leave. I promise you the photos don’t do it justice. My daughter and I stayed just over a week to celebrate our 50th and 20th birthdays and to finally bust out “post covid”. The house is easily big enough to accommodate 4 couples, but we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves everything you need is there - from towels and every type of lounging chair to a kitchen stocked like home. The infinity pool is the star of the show, overlooking your slice of a beach that is empty but for the rare person walking by. The gazebo, outside bar and showers make you feel like you have booked your own boutique resort. I would love to return, not only because this house is perfect, but because this island is going through a burst of development, which has positively impacted the local community in a truly inspiring way. I left feeling truly excited for the locals who fought through real challenges during the pandemic. When I do return, I know where I’ll stay. When you go, stay at hart house, put on some music, and just dance in the pool.

The communication was great. Lots of helpful hints since this was our 1st trip to Exuma. One week is not long enough and we will be back hopefully soon - the outdoor area infinity pool and beach really set this place apart. Thanks all!

From bedrooms with ocean views and private bathrooms, to a gorgeous pool to our own enormous idyllic beach this home was just perfect. Clean, bright cheerful. We hung out outside and inside, barely checked our phones, and could hardly believe our luck being 6 minutes from the world famous Tropic of Cancer Beach. On par with Hawaii and Tulum, but better IMHO. We were blessed with Gavin and Latoya as our private chefs who delighted us every night—highly highly recommend —esp his mom’s guava duff, tarts and chocolate cake! The property was sparkling clean. Kayaking was breathtaking. Thank you so so much for this much-needed respite from a loooong COVID year. Onike met us at the airport and no need went unmet from there.

We have spent two weeks about four years ago. We were very impressed by the setup of having a pool large enough to swim in. A beachfront that extended almost a mile north and a 2/2mile to the south. The water was reasonably protected by an outer reef. Fishing was excellent, the property was very well maintained and comfortably furnished. The owner was very attentive to us as guests. The problem is that we did not stay there earlier this March. We were booked, but matters changed, the owner graciously refunded our intended payment. To us this, after thirty years of renting villas in The Bahamas and the Caribbean Islands, is one of the best there is.

Beach is a perfect 10. Location is great. And the set up of the 4 private bed and bathrooms is genius. We are already trying to figure out our return visit.

Stayed at Hart House the first week of Jan 2020. It was top quality and just as amazing as the listing makes it out to be. The home was well stocked with just about anything you would need. The pool, gazebo, bar area and hot tub outside were amazing and where we spent most of our time. The view from there was unbelievable! The beach and crystal clear water was just like the pictures. Calm water and no big waves which was perfect. Just steps away from the house and we were pretty much the only ones on the beach. We found the location of the house to be great and felt very safe there at all times. The rental company as well as the owner was very easy to contact and was willing to answer any and every question we had. I highly recommend this property. You cannot go wrong!!

We had a great stay at this property right on the beach restaurant right next door great spot! So nice to have the jacuzzi in December.

The home, set up, & property were absolutely perfect. The satellite tv service (dish) did not work the entire time we stayed. We were able to watch Netflix although it would buffer multiple times throughout the movie- we were finally delivered a fire stick on Thursday - this was fine with me but the kids were a little bored without the tv. The property manager met us at the airport but did not meet us at the home to show us how things worked or any specifics. This was not entirely her fault as we had written her contact number down wrong. She came to the home as soon as we were able to contact her ! Overall everything was great!!!we also did a all day tour with Exuma Sports ! Justin was our guide - he was the best !!! I would return today if at all possible 😉�

This house was very well designed and thought out. The accommodations were amazing. We had the service of fresh towels everyday, just like a hotel. The location can not be topped anywhere on the island. We felt like we had the beach and reefs to ourselves the entire week. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend the Hart House. The Shedd, Welsh, Gass, & Hill family!

House was perfect for 4 couples. Beach was awesome and we snorkeled out right in front of it. I think we saw two people on the beach while we were there so it was just like having our on private beach. Check in and out was easy and quick and everyone was great work with. We have never rented a house that had basic staples available for use. Our luggage was delayed a day and the house had shampoo and soap for us to use. We were very happy! We will definitely rent the house again.

This is our 4th time at Hart House so that should tell you everything you need to know. The house is perfect, 4 master suites with bathrooms attached. The main living space is narrow but perfectly fine for us given how much time you spend outdoors. We have been there as a party of 4, we have been there as a party of 8, everyone fits. The beach is amazing, pretty flat and calm given the coral reef that is probably a mile offshore. Sand is like powder. I think it is safe to say this will not be our last time.
