This was our first family vacation and this property was perfect! The close proximity to the water was absolutely ideal, especially with our kids. Any communication we had was easy. We will definitely be staying again!

Perfect for our family of four with two teenage daughters. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was equipped with anything you needed to prepare a meal. Grocery store within walking distance. And the best part you are only 250 feet from the beach. Perfect!

The Osage House is in emaculate condition and has a lot of historical charm. It is very quiet and in a convenient location. My sisters and I enjoyed our short stay (3 days, 2 nights). We will definitely stay there again.

My brothers, dad and I got together for the Thanksgiving holiday. We decided to spend the weekend at the beach in honor of my mom who recently passed. It was a perfect weekend. When it wasn't raining, we were a few feet from the beach. To check out the King Tides we only had to walk half a block. And, when it wasn't raining, the house was warm and cozy. We put together puzzles, played Scrabble and watched movies on Netflix. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together.

This cozy cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Our friend trip was a total success!

The home was so clean and relaxing. Great communication from the host throughout our trip. Everything worked great and as expected, but Kathleen reached out directly just to check in and make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. Very welcoming and homey feel!

Me and my family were very happy staying at this house. It was comfortable and for 6 of us there was plenty of room and we didn’t feel crowded. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils, plus there was a charcoal grill to use. The bathrooms had complimentary shampoo, hair conditioner, and body soap. We were hoping that traffic wouldn’t be an issue on the road in front of the house and it wasn’t at all. The location is great! Just a few minutes walk to the beach and the grocery store. We are definitely coming back to this house again!

Beach house filled with treasures and multiple living and sleeping comforts! Access to host, easy access to beach and lots of fun shopping.

We really enjoyed our time! We were a small group of two families with small children. Each family had their own quiet space and enjoyed our time together in the community spaces. The home was clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated the windows, they appeared to be newer (compared to other homes I’ve stayed in, near this area) and were easy to open and close. The location is my favorite, beach, grocery store, highway access, restaurants, park, etc. it is great! We LOVED having the lawn and fire pit, gave the kids space to run around and kick the ball around. The outdoor hose came in handy to wash off sandy toes and beach gear. I would love to come back!

Everything was as described and better!

The property exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, away from the busy downtown area, and so quiet. We prepared all our meals for the week and found the kitchen well appointed. Having a washer/dryer was a bonus and allowed us to limit the clothes we brought. The Franklin stoves were perfect to take the chill out of the air. Kathleen was very responsive to our questions, even offering to find someone in town to help when there was an issue with the TV reception. One note for anyone with mobility issues: upon arrival, electronic access is through a door near the garage and the stairs to get into the house are quite challenging. However once inside, keys to the front door are available and the front steps are much more manageable. The cottage was charming, and the decor made us feel like we were back living in an earlier, simpler time. A truly enjoyable, relaxing stay.

We LOVED our stay at the Osage Cottage. It has been in the same family for generations and it has been lovingly added onto, modernized but kept as a more traditional beach house, and well loved since then. You can tell so many happy memories have happened while staying here. It is SO clean and it is has lots of spaces for hanging out as a group or getting some quiet time. It is on the south end of Cannon Beach but that just means fewer cars and fewer people this end of the beach. It is still a nice walk into town on the beach, the grocery store is a stone throw's away, and the coffee shop and bakery is an easy walk down the road. The house is super stocked with everything you could want, the beds are nice, and the bunnies in the large yard were just the icing on the whole weekend. Thank you for a wonderful stay -- we will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at one of Cannon Beach’s adorable historic homes. Very cozy feel. Wonderful host/property manager. Cozy natural gas fire. And even a piano! Lovely.

We were impressed with The Osage. It was more than we expected.Very clean and a great location. A few steps from the beach. Communication with Kathleen was easy and very pleasant. Kathleen, thank you for a fabulous place and and enjoyalbe time. We hope to be back.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in this clean and cozy house. 3 minutes from the beach and the grocery store, it was the perfect location. We will definitely return.

My family stayed at the Osage for only two nights, but the home is so inviting we would have loved to stay longer if our schedule had permitted it. The layout of the home is perfect for parents with two older children who would like their own rooms. The furniture is very comfortable and we enjoyed the two sitting areas, each with a gas fireplace, one with a TV, and the other with a comfortable loveseat and ottoman. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen is very well supplied. All in all this home is VERY comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this charming home. It was clean, and furnished well, with lots of great lighting, and included a perfectly stocked kitchen with every gadget and appliance you’d ever need. You don’t need to take anything there except your beach clothes! The house is in a prime location, very close to the beach, with several easy access routes, and with a fully-stocked grocery store less than a block down the road if you need anything. There’s a big yard out front and picnic tables to utilize in the warmer months. We will definitely plan on staying here again.

Super nice house!

Regardless if your staying here for the beach, or looking to explore the Oregon coast, this place has a lot to offer. With the beach just steps away it provides a great location to catch the awesome views and get close to the water. The check in process was one of the easiest I’ve experienced renting anyones home. Kathleen was great and was there if we needed anything. Overall, I would undoubtedly recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area.

This home is equipped with everything you might need. It's a fantastic location and the owners are wonderful to work with. So much charm, history and accessibility. We did have a one year old with us and was worried about her navigating the two steps up to the second living room space. She did great, but might be a consideration is you have a little one just learning to crawl. We are so very grateful for our time in this home. We will be back! Thank you!!
