Good location on Bay. Convenient to restaurants, groceries and other shopping. Everyone enjoyed vacation.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this home by the bay. The location and the views were perfect. The house was clean and all the necessary amenities were available. The house was right on the bay in a quiet neighborhood with it's own dock. The sunroom was perfect for relaxing while getting a great look at the water and the beautiful sunsets. The house is also just a few minutes away from Coastal Highway, the beach, and all the great restaurants in Ocean City. Laura was a pleasure to work with and was readily available to answer any questions we had. Well worth the visit!

Our family had an awesome vacation staying in this home on the bay. The home was clean and supplied with all necessities. We used our boat at the dock for tubing and fishing and enjoyed a week of gorgeous sunsets. So close to the beach and Montego bays pool was great! The owner was readily available with input and available to answer questions . Thank you

The house was dusty and had spider webs inside. The smell inside the house was very strong. Dog’s hair was found in most of the floors even outside on the grass. One of the stairs’s handle was broken. The owner keep asking if everything was okay in the property but it was just dirty.

The house is comfortable and big, the deck and the bay so close it's the best part.

Pictures are very old are are not accurate of the CURRENT property The wall to the foundation is COMPLETELY separated, resulting in a lot of yellow tape and do not enter situations. The separation is the sunroom and this is the viewing room of the bay. Extremely hazardous and unsafe. Appliances did not work correctly. There is VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE BLACK MOLD on the outside chair cushions. The walls have not been washed. Or painted for years and years. The outlets are lose and the plugs fall out. There are instructions in the bathroom they are unreadable because they were written years and years ago and the writing is faded. The deck below was repaired. But not sanded or finished. It’s a splinter nightmare. Blinds have visible mold inside. We did not have any beach chairs to take to the beach. This was during Covid. NO HAND SOAP ON OUR ARRIVAL. Garbage on the kitchen counter. The host texted me to let me know she forgot to take the garbage out. So when we got in, it smelled bad. So there is absolutely No Covid protocol. No one is checking the cleaning or the supplies provided for Covid she is doing the cleaning herself and no paper towel soap or anything to wash our hands first The hot tub in the photo was probably taken in 2009. It is in disrepair and AFTER YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT YOU WILL BE TOLD IT IS OFF THE LIST AND NOT PREMITTED. I immediately called vrbo to report this and asked for cancellation which I was refused. I said the photo is misleading. You are showing guests you have a hot tub on the property. Wait til they sign the contract then say they cannot use it. That’s illegal! I was told only a few days before we were to leave that “unfortunately WiFi is not available at this time!!!!!! We had to use our own hotspots for WiFi there was no explanation. They did have a router and all wet up for WiFi but we never got the password. Afterwards laura Newhouse said she never said it wasn’t available I have BOTH IN WRITING. ANOTHER BAIT AND SWITCH You will get nowhere. Run away as fast as you can. The house has a 4.5 star rating. Impossible. She is offering people a complementary stay if you give a good review. That’s the only way she is showing a high rating.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Great location . Laura the property manager was outstanding. If you want to de-stress, this is the place. Definitely coming back.

After booking the property I got a new quote with higher fees. I still decided to pay more and rent it because we liked the location of the house with private dock for fishing. We wanted the house on the bay because my husband and our kids love to fish. The rent was from Sunday and on Sunday morning we got a message from the owner telling us that the dock has been damaged by the storm that was on Monday and is unusable. We were very disappointed. The whole idea to rent a house on the bay and not on the beach was because of the private dock and plans for fishing. When we got there we met the owner: Laura. I expressed my disappointment but Laura's attitude was very unpleasant. Because she knew from Monday that the dock was damaged she could inform us earlier so we could cancel the reservation and find another house on the Bay. The deck was very old too and not safe for kids. The views from the house were beautiful.

I have never had a bad rental through VRBO until we arrived at the Bay Angel. Less than one hour prior to our arrival the property owner texted me to inform me the fishing pier behind her house was not accessible and could not use it. That in itself was handled poorly. We rented the property mainly for the fishing pier. Should have been given an option to opt out prior the the day of arrival. The most concerning part was how dangerous it was. The foundation under the deck and sun room was severely cracked and falling apart along with the deck railing not being attached. Honestly it should be condemned until fixed so someone doesn’t get gets hurt. We were in a construction zone all week with noise and workers all day and every day. The inside is just as bad with moldy broken blinds, stained old worn out carpet and old appliances. I will never return here. I doubt the owner has ever been there.

Very cozy house! Felt like home away from home. Ms Laura’s place was everything you think it would be and more. The place itself is adorable and Ms Laura got out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Check in was smooth as well and host was readily available to answer questions by texting and willing to help out in amazing time to all our inquiries. The drive to the beach is not far, maybe 10 minutes. I would recommend this place. You can tell they take pride in the home! I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to stay again! Definitely would love to return. Thank you Ms Laura for the amazing stay and for being an amazing host.

We wanted to get away for a week with the family , Just to take a break from the stress of all that’s been going on. Boy, did we pick right. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, on a beautiful bay. Everything we needed was there. Deck, sunroom, to just soak up the Quiet, fully furnished kitchen, and a lot of room to just hang out. The grandkids fished and caught crabs from the dock, and used the community pool. We were only minutes from the stores, shops and the public oceanfront beach. Laura was so great to work with, and made the experience so smooth for us. The only thing missing was more time to enjoy our time!

The property offered a great place for 3 couples to stay comfortably. The location was awesome. Enjoyed morning coffee on the dock and in the sunroom while watching the dolphins. Many restaurants nearby was very convenient for take out then dinning at large picnic table on the side deck very nice time

My family and I loved the house . Definitely will be coming back . My husband and son love being able to fish on the private pier. I loved waking up in the morning and have a cup of coffee and listening to the waves crashing against the barrier. It was beautiful and peaceful.

The view of the bay from the sunroom is more incredible then we could have imagined. This is a quiet and relaxing community, it is in a location that is convenient to Bethany Beach and Ocean City. The house was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and everyone had enough room for their own privacy. Yes, the house is a little dated, but the private dock and beautiful view of the bay make up for that. We highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

The owner seems nice and the location by water is great. The owners have clearly done the bare minimum for years with regards to maintenance . My kids both got massive splinters on the deck which is literally falling apart. It is a safety concern at this point. I felt it was overpriced for a trailer in Medicare condition.

My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at Bay Angel in montigo bay community in Ocean City MD. The house was immaculate and the location was awesome!!! We were right on the bay. My granddaughter was thrilled to be able to fish right off the dock. The view was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing!!! The house itself was cozy and cheerful. The bedrooms were clean and perfect. I honestly can’t say enough great things about it. The community that it is located in is clean and safe and quiet and we were minutes away from all the action restaurants and boardwalk OC. The owner provides passes to two pools and arcade and miniature golf right in the area!!! And we all had the pleasure of meeting the owner Laura !!! She was very kind and helpful with the booking etc.and just a delight! We will definitely be going back there in season and off season. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Bay Angel to everyone!!!!!!!!!

Recently stayed at this property and it was everything that I needed and hoped it would be. Perfect location, close access to everything but at the same time super quiet and relaxing. Within a couple minutes drive you have access to the strip, shops and the Ocean City boardwalk. Located right on the bay you can enjoy the pleasant sights and sounds in a comfortable Atmosphere. The sunset has to be seen to be believed! The owner was nice to deal with and has us stocked up with literature and information on local attractions. Thanks again for a great trip Matt

What a serene place to stay! The dolphins greeted us each morning as we had coffee on the patio. The sunset was unbelievably BEAUTIFUL. It was quite hot but the central air kept the place as cold as we liked and the breeze made it nice to sit on the enclosed patio with the windows opened anytime throughout the day. Such a quiet place to relax without the hustle and bustle. I took 2 handicap people and even though there were a few steps to get into the house the rest of the house was large enough to go thru with my baby's wheelchair and equipment without any issues. The neighbors on both sides are extremely nice (they don't rent their places out it is both their personal homes) We did not have a boat but it was a very nice dock and very easy access. I will defiantly come back to this home in the future.The pool was also very nice and my family enjoyed playing shuffle board and putt putt golf. This was definitely one of our Favorite vacations and we owe it all to this place💜

We had a great week! We had 2 adults and 4 kids with us and the space was absolutely perfect! It was such a plus for everyone to have their own space and 2 bathrooms to boot! The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Did I mention that laundry was on the premises?? What a huge bonus! The views were amazing and the neighbors were so friendly. I just want to remind everyone that this is a real house, in a real neighborhood. You have neighbors on either side & across from you. You might hear some construction & you might see an ant... But it totally beats the heck out of staying at one of the oceanfront hotels which have become a complete rip off! Montego Bay is a wonderful neighborhood and you will love it! 2 beautiful pools, miniature golf, shuffleboard, pond & walking path right in the neighborhood! We’ll be back for sure!

Excellent views which is the best feedback I have on this rental. We had a family trip with older family members so the views were great for them to relax without having to go to the beach. The furniture in the rental was older, worn down, and it doesn’t seem like a lot of investment has gone into the property in some time. When we arrived there were bugs all over the house, screen doors were not on the hinges and some were torn. Deck furniture was weathered and deck table was warped, hard to sit at so we didn’t use it. Likely not to stay again but if your looking for a house with a dock and good view, worth checking out. Nice neighborhood and access to pool if you like.

The pictures need to be updated. There is a house build on the left that does not give you easy access to put a boat in the water.

The property was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was adequately supplied, views were extraordinary, neighborhood was quiet, location was very convenient, and the owner was readily available by phone for any questions. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys beautiful views of the bay !

This property is described as handicapped accessible and it is not. The access is several steep stairs with irregular and aged decking. ( too dangerous for any bare feet- especially the children). The hand rail is weathered as well - it is too bowed and loose to be any help. You risk putting weight in it. The even steeper stairs leading down to the dock from the sunroom also have the same dangerous handrail. My brother in law arrived on crutches with his walking boot and had a very hard time getting in/out and down the narrow hallway. There’s nothing about this home that is ADA. We also were very upset to see no working smoke detectors. I have a photo of the hole in the hallway ceiling where one was removed. I also took a photo of the cheap yellowed wall unit in the kitchen that had no red light and would not chirp when I pushed the little clear button. I allowed my children to sleep in a home with dead batteries in the smoke detector and that will NEVER happen on a vacation rental again. Wouldn’t a three bedroom rental home in Maryland need more than one anyway?? We also ( like a prior reviewer) had to stand to see the view because all the old plastic deck furniture looked like it would collapse and fracture if sat upon. Finally the view from the master bedroom is the street, driveway, and construction across the street...the Bay is on the other end of the house- not at all what was advertised.
