While the location was central to everything - beach, restaurants, ferry to BI which was nice, the cottage was surrounded by campers on one side and a huge parking lot on the other. The bed was small (maybe full size) and very uncomfotable. We took turns sleeping on the sofa which was also uncomfortable. Not a fan of having to bring our own towels and linens.

Cottage was very comfortable with all the comforts of home and in a great location!

Perfect location! walk to everything you need, perfect size for two adults one child, nice deck (when we were not at the beach we spent most of time on they deck). Out side shower is nice. Very quiet at night. Will rent again.

Our third stay at this beach cottage. We love it here. The beach, great seafood, ice cream, gift shops, ferry to Block Island all within a very short walking distance. The cottage is well equipped including a wagon to easily cart all your gear to the beach, very clean, comfortable and we really enjoy the private deck and gas grill. Look forward to returning next year!

Good all around

My family has been vacationing in Rhode Island since I was a kid, but this was our first time staying in Galilee. This was probably the best RI vacation I've had as an adult because of the cottage's great location. We didn't need to drive anywhere. We walked to the beach, restaurants, and shops, and took our bikes out exploring. The cottage is one of several in a little island of cottages surrounded by parking lots, but its large deck offers complete privacy. Evenings we sat on the deck and enjoyed the live music from Buster Krabs or took a quick stroll to the beach to enjoy the entertainment at the Tiki Bar. Before our trip, I contacted the owners a couple of times with questions and they responded immediately. Thank you Bob and Donna for sharing your fantastic little cottage!

This is our 3rd year at this property. Already counting down the days til next summer! Love it so much. Bob and Donna are amazing to work with!

Perfect location, small but quiet and clean,: great private deck with awesome grille and quality deck furniture. Delightful surprise to see the owners provided a beach wagon for carting our chairs, etc! Note - there is no door between the bedroom and the living area. Just a curtain. Bring fans for white noise privacy. All in all a very enjoyable week - we went to the beach, out to restaurants, caught the ferry to BI - all without using the car.

My hubby and I have done one week in Narragansett, in August, since 2008. Hands down, this was our favorite. The house was lovely and the deck was great. Location can't be beat!

We loved our week at this cute cottage! The location is perfect! My Fitbit recorded just under 1000 steps from the cottage to the water! Salty Brine beach is the best beach for swimming with gentle waves that don’t knock you down! The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large deck, cooking on the grill and the lovely sea breeze. We only used the outdoor shower because it’s something we just can’t do at home! Everyday right from the deck we spotted an osprey or two perched on a utility pole eating a fish which was really neat! With the exception of 2 trips to the grocery store we never used our car. Short walk to the beach, great seafood, ice cream shops and so much fun watching the fishing boats and ferries come and go! A great cottage and a perfect and very relaxing beach vacation. Already looking forward to next year!

Great little cottage so close to the beach! Loved walking to the beach everyday! Perfect for 3-4 people. Very large deck! Wish there was a stove and that the sink area in the bathroom was bigger. A few more tv channels would have been nice too. Great a/c and very comfortable and quiet! I would totally recommend this cottage! Oh and great property managers!

Perfect location for the beach and the ferry to Block Island. Once you're there, you won't need to drive, just relax. Super clean cottage. You will love this place!

We had a lovely stay at this adorable, well-kept, clean cottage! It was perfect for our family of three! The pullout sofa was a nice surprise and a great place where we gathered on a rainy day to play cards! The kitchen was perfect and we didn’t need anything more than what was there. If we weren’t at the beach we were enjoying the large deck and shade from the table umbrella. The grassy area in the backyard was perfect for a game of ring toss or corn hole. The only complaint we had was the shower curtain on the outside shower which kept blowing in and sticking to us while we were trying to take a shower . Eventually we just flipped it over the side and took the chance that somebody might walk by us LOL! The proximity to the beach and restaurants can’t be beat. While it was raining at home we had gorgeous weather all week and the beach wasn’t crowded at all! Salty brine and this cottage are diamonds in the rough. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return next year! The owners were super accommodating and always responded to any questions we had quickly. Thank you Bob and Donna for sharing your home with us!

Great house, really enjoyed the location, Galilee is a nice quiet area to stay in with a lot of local attractions and only a 5 minute walk to beach. Perfect when traveling with little kids, would definitely rent again.
