Our main concerns were safety of the toddlers. The front door does not latch so one of our 2 year olds opened the door and wandered onto the driveway. Also, there needs to be an alarm on the back door (as well as front) to safeguard little ones from wandering out back and into the pool. But we LOVED how there were many amenities within walking distance. The house was perfect size for our group and you couldn't beat the distance from the beach.

This property is in a GREAT location. On the beach and close to restaurants and lots of things to do for all ages. I will be looking to rent this property again!!!!!!!!!

Great space for a reunion.

House was fine, however the beach is supposedly private but with no sign indicating private we were constantly asking people from to move. I noticed our neighbors had the same problem. My family enjoyed the house, the area and the beautiful ocean. Good trip!

The property was perfect for what we were looking for. Unfortunately we were there when they closed the beaches. So the kids could not get in the water. The rental itself was very reasonable. But the VRBO fees were ridiculous. The same amount as the rental itself. We will not use them again. We will go straight to the rental company.

Five Star Property was wonderful to work with, responded immediately with our few minor concerns. We will definitely consider renting through them again! Home was lovely and perfect for our family of 14. Having a small covered pool was great for our little ones. Plenty of towels for our group. Only two suggestions for the home owners: Put a mirror in each bedroom. The only mirrors were in the shared bathrooms, made it tricky for the gals trying to get ready at the same time! Put some kind of felt pads on the bottom of the kitchen chairs. The noise scooting them on the tile floor was really loud! Other than that, a perfect beach getaway!

We had a great time. The property was very clean and spacious. We are already planning our next trip!

This beachhouse was amazing, so much room...loved the setup! Enough room for our group of 14, even had room for a few more! Enjoyed being right on the beach, the cabana boys that came and set up our beach chairs and umbrella's, and took them in, having an icemaker was a huge plus. Very close to anything and everything! The 4 bikes were a plus. When calling in Only had a few things that would make it less stressful... some type of latch on the front door, youngins could easily get out and get hit by the heavy traffic. The back patio needs some type of light, lower back door won't latch, (stuck).pool has too much chloring, surrounding sound on lower level TV wasn't working.shelving in refrigerator. Let guests know to take trash bin to road on trash pick up days.

Very beautiful and tastefully furnished home. Comfortable beds for a dreamy sleep listening to the waves right outside the window. Gorgeous!

This was the 2nd year in a row that my family and extended family stayed at Las Olas. The house is beautiful, clean and has plenty of space for our family of 18 people. Our favorite thing about this house is that it is right on the beach! This was a huge selling point for our family as it give you the freedom to come and go on and off of the beach with ease without hauling a bunch of stuff. I hightly recommend this property!

Everything was wonderful except the rusted table on the deck. One of our family members cut their toe on the rust and had to get medical attention on vacation. The house is perfect for a large group. Very neat and clean. Thanks so much!

This awesome house has it all! The beautiful beach and the ocean are right at your back deck. The bedrooms are very spacious, comfortable and relaxing with beach views from most of them. The house was perfect for our large group of 20 people of all ages. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in and it is close to many restaurants, some even in walking distance. The extra den on the second level is just outside the bunk room and just right for the kids. Our kids loved having their own space. The master suite is amazing and the elevator is a life saver! Believe me, you will love this beach house and will not want to leave at the end of your stay at Los Olas!!!

The house was nice and very close to the water, although the den was surprisingly small for a place that sleeps 22, and the king mattress needs replacing. Our main issue was the location: 2-3 doors down from public beach access - which meant fighting to protect our beach space each day from the day-trippers and across-the-streeters. It would have been nice if that was disclosed prior to payment. These public access beachgoers had no qualms setting up their tents/chairs in front of ours (which we learned must be set up before 7am each day if you want beach space in front of the house you're actually staying in). Unfortunately, there are no rules or enforcement against this. The water and beach were beautiful, but next time we will go back to the much less crowded Seagrove, FL. This turned out to be a disappointment for the price point.

This home was huge and extremely comfortable for our party of 20! We come to Miramar or Destin every year for vacation and this one was the best yet. Plenty of room for both entertaining and relaxing! The staircase from the back door to the beach was the DEFINITION of CONVENIENCE and nothing compares to a sunset along the Gulf coast. Can't wait for our return! THANK YOU Five Star for a one of a kind vacation!

This was our first trip to Destin and wow! The ocean is so beautiful and definitely an amazing sight to see. The house is also amazing and was very comfortable. With 17 of us under one roof, we were never in each others way. This was an amazing vacation and a great first trip to the area. Thank you for allowing us into your wonderful home. My family and I are already anxiously awaiting our return to Destin.
