Very much enjoyed our week in this Tanglewood townhouse, a short walk to Rathrevor beach. Well furnished and equipped property. Responsive owners to all queries. Perfect.

Very well-appointed property! Our family loved our stay here. The only thing that was challenging was the lack of storage in the downstairs bedroom. Even some hooks on a wall would help with that. Otherwise, it was the perfect vacation rental.

We had a fantastic week in Parksville and are thrilled to have found this property for our stay. Checking in was seamless, the location is excellent and the property has all the comforts of home. Easy walk to the beach, lovely treed neighborhood. Would certainly come back.

This beach house was very clean, well maintained & extremely well stocked. The kitchen had absolutely everything that you would ever require during your stay. There were over a dozen good quality beach towels as well as lots of beach toys, beach chairs and even a wagon for taking everything to the beach which was just a 5 min walk away. Also a huge amount of games for kids and adults. Joanne & Doug were excellent hosts who responded quickly to all of our questions. They had a binder full of information about Parksville & their rental unit which was very useful. I highly recommend this rental. We loved it!

If you want a fantastic place to go on your next vacation, this is it! This was the way my husband and myself could have our kids and grandkids with us for a family vacation. Our place literally had everything you need. You don’t have to take a thing with you. Any appliance you could think of is there. We used the BBQ everyday. Air beds, toys and games plus beach toys for the kids. Beach towels and beach chairs for the adults. The ocean is very close and wow, super warm! Lots to do and see in Parksville. There are bicycles for those who love to bike, and a wagon to take your things down to the beach. The owners are very receptive to any questions you may have. The welcome book includes so much information on the area. From great places to eat out if you want, to places to shop and nearby places of interest. All and all, a fantastic home away. All you need to do is arrive and relax! Highly recommend Tanglewood 62 to anyone. I’m sure we will be back!

Thank you so much for your generosity on our family get away! The unit was so homey and inviting! The appliances were plentiful...there was even an Instant Pot! The art and decor was stunning! The location was fabulous to get to Parksville beach! We were out there at 9pm paddleboarding! Thank you so much! We will be back again!

There was a helpful binder with everything we needed to know about the unit, and the unit was impeccably clean. Everything we could possibly need was there - even a pantry and fridge with essential spices and condiments. The bedrooms were nicely laid out and linens were clean and plentiful. The unit was a short walk from the beach and you can't beat the beauty of Rathtrevor. We loved our stay and are so grateful to Joanne and Doug for making our holiday weekend amazing!

We just returned from spending the winter in this beautiful condo. Everything you could ever want is provided and more. The owners were wonderful to deal with before and during our entire 3 month stay. The location is excellent to get any place in Parksville and provides a short drive to Nanaimo ~ shopping mall, theatre and many wonderful dining options. We will certainly return on any future trips to the Island.

The condo was perfect and well equipped with every kitchen gadget you’d ever need; lots of room for dining and relaxing; and all three bathrooms had showers as well as a tub in the master. We had a white Christmas and it was beautiful looking out at the snow covered trees and being cozy in front of the fireplace. Lovely place to stay.

We have stayed at several tangle wood properties and this one has to be the best. It was so well appointed, full kitchen, gorgeous sheets and so much for the kids to do. It was perfect!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in the forest. The gas fireplace was nice when we came home a little damp. Kids enjoyed the bikes and the close proximity to the beach. Would definitely return in the future.

The property was ideal for us (mom, dad, granny and 2 kids). As Granny has a poorly hip, being able to sleep on the main floor bedroom was a bonus! Kitchen was really well stocked with all possible equipment and lots of things you don't want to have to rush out and buy - such as oil/vinegar, etc. We went on lots of adventures in the area and it was so nice to be able to soak in a decent sized bath at the end of the day! The grandkids loved the setting in the woods and had plenty space inside to do activities when it was raining. The heating works well and warms up quickly. All in all a great place to take a family or friends. We visited at a rainy time of the year, but because we had a nice home to stay in, it did not dampen our spirits! I do not hesitate to recommend.
