We had a fantastic stay, the beach is right at your doorstep and there is a fireplace for any cooler stays. We'll be back.

This property has a beautiful location right on the beach. It was comfortable and a lovely place to relax.

A great week in a quiet location. Some mornings the still waters in that part of the beach allowed us to use the supplied kayaks to enjoy a quick paddle before setting off for that day's adventure.

When I saw the headline only house on the beach I thought perfect privacy and tranquility but we were not the only house on the beach we were half a house the other half were the owners! The photo of the house is deceiving as you are only renting half of it. Imagine our surprise to arrive and find cameras on the outside of the house and the owner then came over and introduced himself the second day. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the view was beautiful but the reason for booking the accommodation was the privacy and there was none. The day we left the owner came over and collected the keys at 9.15am. Maybe he was just being friendly but we thought it odd the amount of phone calls, face to face and text messages from him. You need to change your advertising to you and the owner will share a house on the beach

This home is exactly as the photos show, right on the beautiful Primrose Sands beach. We enjoyed the birdlife and were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins during our stay. We were surprised to find a duck nesting just off the back deck and we all looked forward to checking in on mother duck There is nothing like going to sleep and waking to the sound of the waves and the natural environment here is perfect to unwind and relax. Our family loved using the beach at all times of the day and it was great to meet some locals. The home is comfortable and very well equipped including new appliances. It was lovely to meet the owners, something we have not done at other holiday stays, and we were appreciative of Branko and Ivanka's hospitality and local knowledge. Primrose is a great location to visit the southern part of Tassie; it is easy to find your way around and we enjoyed exploring local towns and tourist attractions. Then you get to return home to the beach at the end of the day! This is the perfect location for a beach holiday and it was hard to leave. For those who really like their privacy, the beach can get busier on warmer days but this did not bother us. We visited from SA and would certainly stay again! Great experience and wonderful location. The house has everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. Beach is perfect for children to swim and kayak in. Communication with hosts was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

Lived up to its description. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach, read, play games, go for walks. Impeccable home with all the amenities. Will come back again. The only drawback is that it is 30 minutes from a grocery store so you have to remember to stock up when you go. But once you are there you don’t want to leave to go to town! Excellent hosts

Great set up for a getaway with kids, complete with cot. Immediate access to a kid friendly beach, large living area with perfect views and friendly hosts who are easily contactable. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Waking up with the surf metres from the bedroom. The kids loved kayaking each day and even had a pod of dolphins swim around them for an hour. Amazing stay and experiences.

Very peaceful location, we stayed for 5 days and it was very relaxing. We saw dolphins in the bay and we all enjoyed the Kayaks

This place is magic. From the moment you arrive you feel relaxed. The sound of the waves as you fall asleep, the view of the ocean, the peace and quiet. Couldn't recommend this property more highly.

Perfect surprise for interstate friends. Tiny slice of paradise or had everything we needed. Hosts warm and welcoming. I would recommend it to everyone.

Frogmouth cottage had everything we needed and more. We kayaked, saw dolphins from our window and woke up to the view of the ocean each day a truely magical place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frogmouth Cottage to celebrate our triplets 30th birthday. Although we had a number of exciting activities in our holiday, everyone agreed that the days we stayed at the cottage and didn’t go out were the best. Primrose Beach is just beautiful and literally at the front doorstep. Listening to the waves and waking to the view is just magic.

We had a fabulous stay. So beautiful to wake up and be so close to the water. Everything was easy. The house is spacious and well equipped. We will be coming again for sure. Thank you

Just a really great place for a good ol' Aussie family Christmas get-together. Enjoyed interacting with all the friendly locals playing beach cricket, swimming, kayaking and fishing on the beach out the front. The perfect family holiday spot with a very safe beach for toddlers. Would love to do it all again some day.

Exactly to the description. The location on the beach is unbelievable, you are right there. Very comfortable, kayaks, outdoor shower, bbq and great reclining furniture inside!

This property was exceptional and was far better than the photos indicated. Comfy beds, loads of space for a large family and the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed at. There would be no need to leave this house at all if you didn’t want to. We will definitely be back and just spend time at the property to enjoy all it has to offer next time. Our three nights was not long enough!

Frogmouth Cottage is just as the pictures suggest: directly on the beach, quiet, idyllic, and well fit out. Each visitor will have their own favourites about the house. Mine were the views from two bedrooms, the kayaks, the sound of the ocean, the location, the small back garden including herbs, the well appointed kitchen, the bird song, the wood stove, the expansive view from the glassed front room and dining area, the electric blankets, the gentle, sloping, mile-long beach, and --- oh, did I mention the views? The hosts are warm, generous and always available without being intrusive. You won't be disappointed.
