Perfect home base to explore Alaska. Easy access to Alaska Railroad and Airlines and many local sights. House had everything we needed and we felt at home immediately. Great hosts thought of every convenience and need. Thank you.

The home went above and beyond in supplying items that became extremely helpful. I under-packed for my trip and having easy access to a washer and dryer with laundry detergent was extremely beneficial. Other appreciated items were snacks, pamphlets and a binder full of ideas on things to do in Anchorage and surrounding areas, and DVDs to watch on evenings when we were exhausted. Definitely a very comfortable and welcoming home.

This property was better than described. The location is perfect. It is in a safe and convenient neighborhood. Many stores and restaurants are very close by. The rental was so clean and the beds were extra comfy. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly ever need. Darlene is super responsive to emails and willing to answer any questions I had. I will be returning to Anchorage every year to visit family and this will be where I choose to stay. Truly. A t say enough good things about this property.

The unit is in a great location, close to hospitals, restaurants, and shopping. It was very clean, quiet, super comfortable. Check in was a breeze, the place was well appointed, and communication with the hosts was excellent. I rented as a home away following a surgery and it was everything I had hoped. I would definitely stay at this property again!

We enjoyed our 4 nights at Darlene and Paul's. The place is clean, large, comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you can want. There is a washer/dryer which was super useful when we came back wet and muddy from our hikes. The beds are comfortable. we would definitely rent this unit again.

Alaska is an amazing experience for those who visit. In equal measure, the place you stay makes a significant difference. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath home was spotlessly clean, had all of the essentials, and was tastefully decorated to make it a comfortable home away from home. We can recommend this place without hesitation.

The house was perfectly clean with everything that a traveler would need including little things that you wouldn’t think about. Well decorated and very comfortable. We will book it again when we return to Anchorage.

This was my first time as renter on VRBO. I just hope all of my other stays are this great!
This place is lovely! I walked in and felt welcome. Everything was comfortable and nice. The kitchen was VERY well equipped with lots of things I didn't expect- French press, coffee bean grinder, electric water kettle and stove top kettles (2)!!. There were baking sheets, measuring cups, spoons and even 2 wisks!
Large washer/dryer was great. The backyard was pretty and had a small table, chairs and grill.
The hosts checked in by text frequently and responded fast to any questions (or when the power briefly went out in the neighborhood).
I will definitely stay again, if it's not already booked.
I think I should keep it as "my secret", but that wouldn't be fair.

Excellent, Excellent, excellent rental property. Great location to start all your adventures. Although it's a duplex, I never saw or heard the neighbors. And don't worry about a good night's sleep. The neighborhood is extremely quiet.

A fully stocked two bedroom home. While traveling it is so nice to find comfort in a vacation rental that is as comfortable as my own home. Thank you so much for the extra comforts like snacks, coffees and treats. The advice about the local attractions and the small and meaningful souvenirs were appreciated extras. We'd love to return for another stay.

This cute home was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The home was in a Perfect location and beds were very comfy. Paul and Darlene were very responsive and helpful and were generous with the necessities we needed making our stay easy.
