It was good wish there was more communication about things happening in town like special events. House is great but the biting bugs at the property this year made sitting by the river impossible.

This property is top notch. Very clean, cleaning staff happen to be still working. Very thoughtful couple and they did a good job of preparing the home for us. No problems.

Our week in this property was wonderful.

We would definitely stay here again. Our son was getting married at the Landings of Estes Park and we could walk to and from there with ease. The home was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for the week. We cooked several meals and had what we needed. Being situated on the river was beautiful and we enjoyed many moments relaxing on the chairs provided. The elk didn’t disappoint and walked through the property a couple times. We rent vacation homes often and this was one of the best. And Estes Park is a quaint town with shops and great restaurants. Honestly perfect week!

This log home offers the perfect accommodations for enjoying all that Estes Park and RMNP have to offer. Come home from a day of hiking and relax in the hot tub! Take a short stroll to the riverbank and sit and read a book or have your morning coffee while you listen to the water roll by. Wonderful! Clean and comfortable bedrooms and baths. The kitchen is well appointed and stocked with all of what you need for cookware and supplies. The check in process could be made easier for guests with the addition of a keypad on the door so you don't have to stop by the property manager's office to pick up and drop off keys. The only thing we noticed that could use attention (and I'm sure it will be addressed) is that we had very slow drainage in the primary bathroom sinks, which made them almost unusable during our stay. Other than that, I'd say this place is perfect. We'd love to return. Thanks for an awesome get away!

The house was a great location for easy access to Estes or to hiking in RMNP. Comfortable and nice layout for a be small family get away The river was a big selling point for us but actually a little too buggy and raging to be fun and safe for kids to play near, and the kitchen is not as user friendly as we'd have liked, but all in all a great stay.

The property was amazing! The property manager responded in a quick fashion and took care of our needs. We will stay here everytime!

Seth was great to deal with - the house was fantastic - we stayed here for our daughter's wedding - it was everything we expected and more - beautiful décor - very spacious - great location.

The home is as listed, beautiful inside, would have preferred more mowed area to access stream. The property had an extra propane bottle which was fantastic when the original ran out. Highly recommend!

It was a great stay for our 3rd year. A few things needing to be fixed but we love the space and river. Fun for a family

This property is stunning. It served all of our needs! It is gorgeous and very spacious. It is close to town and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a nice little store close by also which was very convenient! The Mountain Views are limited but being able to enjoy a drink or cup of coffee right by the river was very enjoyable. We got to see elk and deer right out the big beautiful window of this stunning home. The nice big table and lovely granite island were great for serving family meals. We also enjoyed being able to sit out and watch the elk from the lovely covered back patio with nice table and chairs. We loved this home and the location!

Home totally exceeded our expectations! Would definitely rent again.

This house was the perfect home base for our family, as we enjoyed exploring RMNP and downtown Estes Park. The house had all the nessesities, as well as the constant sound of the river and daily visits from some friendly elk. What a beautiful place!

Pleasant stay and convenient location

This property is beautiful and perfect for our stay! So close to Rocky Mountain National Park and restaurants within Estes Park. Elk visited the home frequently and the large windows were perfect for viewing. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit Estes Park and Rock Mountain National Park!

We have stayed here once before and will continue to do so for family trips. The cabin is stunning!

We had Christmas there a family of 6, the place is beautiful and enjoyed every moment! Down side is 2 bathroom only and a bit far from downtown. We will rent it again.

This property met the amenities, size and availability we were looking for. It was clean, well kept and it suited all our needs. We were pleased how close it was in proximity to RMNP, Estes Park dining, shopping and golf.

This was our 2nd time staying here, and we already booked for next year!

It is a very nice location and gives you the comfort of home. The river near is fun we always enjoy going to it.

Great house & location!

The house is beautiful on the inside. We did a lot of cooking due to the spacious kitchen, pots and pans. The house is in a great location, 6 minutes from the town of Estes and 20 minutes from the Rocky National State Park. I do have a few suggestions, please clean the grill before next guest arrive, my husband and boys spent a hour taking the grill apart and cleaning several pieces so the grill would work. Maybe mow a small path from the house to the stream. We understand why you don't mow the property due to the Elk that come daily to feed, Our last morning in the house, there was 20 Elk walking around the front and back of the house.. We will definitely rent this property again.

We loved our stay here so much! It has just the right amount of space with the three bedrooms. And the laundry/mud room was big enough to put our sons pack in play in where he had his own space as well! Some things to bring if you are able to would be baking sheets as there were none, and extra towels. The hall bathroom only had 2 for both of the guest rooms. We had to wash towels daily but luckily we had brought beach towels for the hot tub. They could also fix the sinks in the bathrooms as they did not drain very well. There was some really tall grass when we arrived but it got mowed halfway through our stay just around the house itself. Overall, we had a great stay at the Forest Glen! We loved being in a private area with a hot tub and a house big enough for our whole family.

Excellent house and location.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful home. The only complaint that we all had was the giant, picturesque window in the great room was filthy and once the sun hit it you could barely see out of it. Also, when you could see out of it there is an old, unsightly, broken down, metal outbuilding that stares you right in the face. But other than that we loved most everything about it. We enjoyed the hot tub each night outside across from the outdoor fireplace and an indoor wood burning fire on our last night. We had a herd of deer grazing in the front lawn each day and on our last full day we were greeted in the morning by a gorgeous bull Elk lazing in the back by the river (which has four comfy chairs to sit while you take it in) He stayed with us the entire day, making his way up to the house to nibble the grass near the patio, then grazing his way to the front porch, and having had his fill, laid down under the tree near the porch for a nice rest. Would definitely recommend this home, but you might want to bring some Windex and a large ladder.

The house was fabulous the location even better. my children said it was our Colorado mountain castle in the woods, and and it was, we had snow in late April and we used the fireplace and the kitchen had all we needed to prepare our meals (I actually worried when we planned meals because I needed extra things I wasn’t sure would be there but they were and it was Fantastic... We even had deer in our yard every day.. The only complaint we had were the beds are horribly uncomfortable like they desperately NEED mattress toppers if you don’t want to replace mattresses, but they are definitely a requirement in the opinion of 5 adults..Other than that it’s the most magical place we have ever stayed and we appreciate the opportunity greatly. Seth and Chris were great at responding to questions and when we move to Colorado we will be in contact for buying options.. Thanks so much guys we will be back!!

We loved the amenities of the cabin and how there were no stairs, as we have young kids and didn’t want to battle getting them off the stairs lolWe did have a couple hiccups but they were addressed and handled in a timely fashion. It would have been preferred to not have had to deal with the hurdles but we also understand life happens. The hot tub was not clean for use upon arrival, but they had someone come out the next day. It did take a couple days to the water clean for use, but it was in need of a deep cleaning. We didn’t receive our check in info, and VRBO made it seem as tho we had and with us checking in on Sunday, it took a few minutes but we were able to get in. Just tricky with young kids after a drive. Updating the cutting board options would really benefit the amazing kitchen! The cabin is wonderful and we really liked having the garage/mud room! Really made it easy to come and go and the washer/dryer was wonderful. The bathtub is amazing and love that the water was always hot! We had a wonderful time, we saw multiple sand hill cranes each day and a small family of deer. It was quiet, memorable and fun! Lots of wonderful food options and we recommend coffee on the rocks!

The house was beautiful. This is our second time staying in this home. Huge draw, for us, was the fireplace, the hot tub, and the kitchen. It is nicely secluded away from anyone or anything else, yet a very easy drive to restaurants or town. With Covid restrictions, some things weren’t as “homey” as before, such as no throw blankets or couch pillows - but understandable for these times. We bought a few souvenir blankets to lay around with a nice fire and family movie time. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals. The silverware & some utensils could use some updating, but with a rental, that’s to be expected! We really enjoyed the hot tub off the master. Often saw deer, one coyote, and several elk from the hot tub! One morning, the elk were so close to the house, we had to wait to leave! The awesome washer & dryer is key to coming home with clean clothes! We had a great time.

This home was exactly like the photos show and more! The only thing that would have f made it perfect was to have a lock box at the home instead of needing to go to another location late at night to get the key and return it.
