Great bed and pillows.

The continental breakfast was pretty good. They also provided to-go lunches. The location was good too and basically a few minutes from downtown.

Our initial room smelled like bleach though it had a good mountain view. We requested the room to change the cause of the smell and they gave us a bigger room but the view was awful. There was a small window pointing to some garage! and it did not have a door either! You had to enter the room from the giant sliding window that could be locked (with difficulties). The room cleanliness was alright but a little dim. The room AC was awful though. The room was either too hot or too cold and the heater thermostat did not match the room temperature. We had to constantly change the thermostat to get a comfortable temperature.

No había visto que había un jacuzzi entonces no había traido el bañador. Al ser enfocado al parque creo que merece la pena ofrecer un poco más de información sobre el RMNP, aunque este al lado del visitar center y del mismo parque, sirve para cuando la llegada se hace después del horario de cierre para ayudar la planificación. El desayuno podría empezar antes visto los horarios del parque.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, geräumig und hell, die Betten ausreichend groß und gut. Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe eines Safeway Supermarktes, einer Tankstelle und des Stadtzentrums. Ein schöner Pool/See wurde in der Mitte der Anlage installiert. Auch die Preise von knapp 80 Euro in der Nebensaison sind für Estes Park akzeptabel.

Ich würde der Einrichtung empfehlen, bei wenig Kundschaft die Parteien nicht räumlich nebeneinander einzubuchen. Wenn gegen 1 Uhr morgens ihr Zimmernachbar (Raum 402) offensichtlich betrunken die Musik hochdreht und rumjohlt, dann kriegt man durch die dünnen Wände alles mit: Alles. Da kann man auch gegen die akustisch schlecht isolierte Trenntür zum anderen Zimmer pochen oder lautstark beim Zimmernachbarn die Nachtruhe einfordern: Alles umsonst. Endlich nach drei Uhr wurde es dann ruhiger auf der anderen Zimmerseite...

The staff at Discovery have always been helpful & polite. The location is great as well, especially if attending a wedding in the area. The room isn't fancy but there's a TV if you need it, decent internet, microwave, fridge and has always been clean & comfortable.

I've stayed here a few times and the first couple stays were great. We booked ground floor and just heard normal, older hotel walking around noises from the upstairs. However, our third stay we had a room underneath the lobby and it was non-stop noise from 6 am onwards: walking, chair sliding, things dropping, things dropping & rolling alllll the way across the room, etc., making it impossible to sleep.

The room had an exceptional view looking out at the mountains and nearby lake. Also of note was the breakfast which included cheese omelets and waffles.

Parking was a bit cramped but was not a big problem because the property was not fully booked. However, if even it was at 50%, parking would be a problem.
