This is an absolutely beautiful cabin in a perfect little town in Montana. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to go to Montana! I also love that you can hear the creek running down the hillside when your enjoying your morning coffee outside.

Great location and very clean. The cabin worked really well for us. Had some issues with door lock that were never really fixed, but the maintenance team was on it and very responsive.

This place is perfect! As they stated, the Internet is not reliable. Neither is the Dish Network. Don't plan on streaming services. Download content before you come, or bring your own DVDs. The grill needs some work to be serviceable, also could not figure out the thermostat, but everything else was great! The Lakeside Grocery store has less expensive firewood than Sliters. We enjoyed the serenity of the place, the fireplace, the porch, the view, the gurgling brook. Perfect. We would definitely come back here!

This was a wonderful retreat. Easy to find and convenient to Lakeside, but still felt remote and isolated. Very peaceful with all the modern amenities (except wifi).

What's better than a cozy log cabin in the woods in the Fall? We loved it, everything we needed was available to us. Very nice after a long day to return to such a serene spot to cook a nice meal. The cabin provided so much, great appliances, cookware...thank you!

Nice location, poor response to an issue at the cabin. VACASA did not repair a tub spout that blew off the first floor tub/shower combo almost injuring our guest. This happened on a Wednesday morning and we left this morning, Saturday with no response. There are more issues that we had but we do not have the space to list them all. If you are interested in more detail, we will be glad to send it to you. We request compensation for the poor service we received. This property was everything we hoped it would be and more. The loft was fantastic with the bathroom and comfortable bed, the kitchen area and living area large enough for all of us to gather for a meal. Everything was spotless! Can't wait to come back

You feel very private and secluded in this very well appointed cabin, but you are also within 10 minutes of everything you need, including very good restaurants, in Lakeside. Couldn't ask for more.

The experience with Vacasa was very positive. They have excellent response time when questioned and went out of their way to provide my family with what was needed for our vacation rental.

This fit our purpose very well. The beds are comfortable, the towels are thick and fluffy, the setting is woodsy with plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. There is plenty of seating inside and out. A short walk takes you to a babbling brook.

Close to town and Glacier national park, but still a secluded cabin in the woods. A beautiful wooed setting with lits to do.

It was wonderful. Take a drive up to the ski area and look for animals. We saw moose!

Lovely spot away from the chaos of fhe valley but still so close to everything needed. Wifi is rural wifi so not hyperspeed but it got the job done. Clean and beautiful. Even got a sunrise from the loft bed!

My family of 5 loved this open floor plan cabin. Plenty of room for all of us and gave us the true cabin feel we were looking for to enjoy our weekend at Blacktail Mountain Resort!

Overall this is a beautiful and comfortable cabin. We particularly loved having a fire in the fireplace while playing games in the living room. Our main issue was with a broken dishwasher and terrible communication with Vacasa, the property management company. They have a note right in the counter that says to call immediately if anything is broken. When we arrived and opened the dishwasher there was standing water in the bottom of it that smelled terribly. This should have been caught and fixed by cleaning crew before we arrived. But I followed instructions and called Vacasa immediately. I then spent 30 minutes on hold. I then tried the texting and didn’t hear back for several hours. This is not how I want to start a vacation and especially when I’m paying over $900 for a two night stay. I much prefer properties where communication with directly with a local host.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing, winter weekend getaway and this home provided exactly that. It was very clean and nicely kept, with a large-enough kitchen that had all the tools we needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable and the TWO fireplaces kept us cozy. It's quite scenic and very serene; I had fun exploring the short paths through the woods around the property.

This cabin was very cozy and had comfortable bedding and lots of essentials to make breakfast and dinner! The fireplace was a nice addition And we definitely used it because it was cold and rainy!! It would be helpful to have a rug inside both doors because it was very rainy and wet and we threw one of our own towels down so that mud did not get all over the floors. There were also a few light bulbs out and the couple that stayed in the main bedroom had no instructions on how to get the DIRECTV to work. The beetles that were mentioned in other posts were found upstairs in the loft. A few of them even in the bed. Not sure if using a professional exterminator would help? Even with those issues we would still stay again.

We just stayed at the cabin and loved it. Loved our stay! Don't change a thing-especially the pet policy. We are hoping to rent this cabin again in 2 years. If I could have my own cabin - this would be it!

Very secluded but still fairly close to most areas of interest.

I loved how it is nestled in the woods, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air! And better yet, you’re only a few mins away from a grocery store. The cabin was clean, beds are so comfy and wifi worked great! We’re definitely recommending this to friends and family and definitely returning ourselves.

This cabin is beautiful and has a perfect location. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the true "log cabin" feel. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean upon arrival. It's evident that Vacasa sprays for bugs around the cabin, as we noticed dead bugs appearing inside after we got there. We had a 4 night stay, and by the end of it, the loft was peppered with tons of little black bugs (carpet beetles?) all over the floor, especially by the patio door. They looked like mouse droppings until we saw one move. Unsure if we are wrong and it was mice, but there were so many in just a few days, and some even appearing on the bedside table and in the bed. My in-laws slept in the loft and they have lived in the country for many years, so it didn't bother them too much, but I could see this being an issue for other folks. No bugs/droppings noted in the main floor bedrooms. All in all, we loved staying here. It's nice and quiet, feels secluded even though you're only a 5 minute drive from Lakeside. Grocery store, gas station, and Tamarack Brewery all very close. Would recommend this cabin, just be wary if you're squeamish of bugs!

The home was in a great wooded setting and had very comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. We had a wonderful stay. We would definitely book this home again.

This cabin & surrounding area is incredible. Beautiful fir trees all around. I felt so tucked away, yet it’s not too far from the lake or tiny town. Breathtaking property, hiking down to the little stream was so fun.

The large cabin was beautiful and well supplied with everything a person or family could want. Wifi was a little slow, but hey, it's MT after all :) We thoroughly enjoyed to secluded location and comfort of the cabin. Could easily live in one just like it. Only thing missing was an outdoor fire pit, but I could understand if the potential of a wildfire is too great.

The property was beautiful and the location was great. Close to the town of Lakeside and other neat towns to visit. The home could have been a little cleaner, The outdoor trashcan looked like it had been mauled by a bear (sorta lol). We made jokes about that all weekend. If you're not a woodsy person and are afraid of wildlife, this isn't the place for you, but if you enjoy being away from the city life and enjoy nature this is great!

A wonderful place to stay, close to Blacktail ski area

We spent a weekend with our family at this cabin near Blacktail and went skiing. It was a very cute and homey cabin and was perfect for our family of 6. Everything was great and as expected from the listing, cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. The only downside was the early 10am checkout time. We’d consider staying here again for a ski weekend.
