My family and I absolutely loved it! Our favorite of course was the porch and the amazing sunsets. You cannot beat the location right on the beach. Property manager was super helpful and very kind. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed on the property with adult children grandchildren and great grandchildren visiting throughout our stay. This is an amazing location right on the beach and a great getaway.

I received check in information and followed directions. Called the office to get details. I was informed that there were complaints about the air conditioning. I got this info too late to cancel and book another property. The check in process was different than any other property I have rented and we didn’t get the access code until we were on site. The house was a great location and view. The air conditioning however wasn’t sufficient to cool the house. The temperature got between 82 and 85 inside every day and never shut off. We couldn’t open the blinds to see the beautiful view as that would get the temperature up over 90. The couch in the living room was broken. There were no check out instructions. I tried to go to my account to file a complaint, followed directions but there was no complaint tab in the list. We feel that we should be due a refund but there was not a number to speak with someone about the issue.

The location of this property can not be beat. As other reviews stated the porch is the best part of the house to see beautiful sunsets. The house itself is a bit dated and could use some updates. One major update that needs to be addressed is the air conditioning. Yes, we were there in July during a heat wave, however, we went into businesses near the same location that was able to keep their stores at comfortable temperatures. The house, during the day, stayed 80+ degrees. We contacted the rental company and they sent an AC repair company out twice. We were told by the workers that the outside unit was new but the inside unit needed replaced and the attic needs insulated and that it was Florida, during the summer. It was 150 degrees in the attic. Nothing was resolved with the miserable inside temperature. We suffered the heat because we had already paid for the rental and could not go elsewhere. Luckily the house had a couple of box fans that helped to circulate air but the temperature was still too much to make it an enjoyable stay. It was difficult to sleep at night due to the warm temperature as well. This house will be great for cooler months as a rental.

This was our second time staying in the house.loved every bit of it. Will definitely be back.

The location of this house is amazing—-walk down the steps and you are on the beach. The house had everything we needed plus some. The porch is perfect!

Our stay at this beach home was wonderful. The view from the porch can’t be beat along with the location. It was so peaceful having coffee on the porch each morning listening to the ocean waves. Although we didn’t cook it appeared to have all the essential items needed to do so. Beach toys and beach towels were provided. The house was clean and very spacious. Hopefully we will be able to return in the near future.

Great deck on the beach. You are right on the water almost. House is dated and could use some upgrades but we came to sit and relax on the deck. Worked out great.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at this property. The beach was literally a few steps away. Pictures of this place are current. It was clean with everything we needed. Parking doesn't get any easier with this place. Walter the manager was great, he gave us a quick tour and was out the door. The owner stopped by later in the week to put the garbage out on the street, he was very nice. The beach was a little busy on the weekend, but nothing compared to Clearwater Beach. All kinds of places to eat, grocery store right up the road. Plenty of things to do. Johns Pass was fun along with Eagle Parasaling, Escape Florida, Wild Bill's airboat tours was worth the drive, and the beach of coarse. We had a great stay and would recommend High Tide.

The front porch was the perfect place to watch the dolphins swim by in the mornings while we drank our morning coffee, great for sunsets and escaping the heat of the day, loved being right on the beach, house was perfect for our party with one king room and a double queen room, the property manager (Mr. Vans) was super helpful and a pleasure to work with - he knew every detail of the property for check-in. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

This was our second time staying and again everything went very well. Walt is very easy to communicate with. The house is excellent. Perfect location on the beach with several places within walking distance.

Second time staying here and have booked already for next year. Love the location and view from the rocking chairs on porch. Fire pit on cool nights was nice touch. Couldn't ask for better getaway.

This place is fantastic. We have found that we have little desire to go anywhere while we are in the area. Best view, wonderful breeze on the deck (tragically, the owners have blocked the livingroom windows so the breeze isn't in the house as well). I suspect that in July, I wouldn't be so interested in any breezes in the house. The house is a bit older, but has been wonderfully updated, floors, kitchen appliances, etc. I do wish they would upgrade the lounges for the porch. I personally would also prefer a gas grill, but I can understand why the owners might not want to do that - they are a bit more dangerous. These little tiny things aside, we love the place. Have already booked again for next year.

This property sits right on the beach and has a wonderful porch that we used to watch the sunset. The house is a bit dated and could use some TLC, but we were mostly on the beach, had a few fires in the fire pit and on the porch. I would recommend and I would also stay there again. The location was convenient to restaurants, Johns Pass and there was Speedway store across the street for whatever you need.

Of course, the house is perfectly situated. Walter warned us that we might not want to go anywhere else and was exactly right. We had a number of friends & relatives over for meals. As a bonus we spent some time with the neighbors. I would love to rate the place really low to increase our availability, but that would be a lie. It is absolutely fantastic!!

the cost of this rental is a few hundred dollars per night. the value of this location is a million bucks. i can't imagine that there is a house closer to the water anywhere on the west coast of florida. you can sit on the porch and also pretty much be sitting on the beach. priceless. loved it. hope to be back.

Stay at this property often. Love everything especially the porch. Just like sitting on the beach but much more comfortable.

Location, location, location … the view is amazing. House was spotless. 2 full baths plus an extra shower inside the house and an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Rooms are nice size. Everything you could possibly need is onsite with a 24 hour gas station across the street in case you need anything. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is right on the beach making it super easy to go back and forth. We loved sitting on the porch! The house is clean, well stocked and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Great location!!

We loved this beach house! Our group of four friends gets a VRBO for a week every year, to relax and enjoy the ocean. This house ranks in our top two. We are already talking about an unprecedented second trip to stay in High Tide. The beach is steps away from the deck…we wanted to be by the water, so we worked a deal with the beach umbrella/chair vendor to set us up a spot just outside the back gate every day during our stay, and we spent our evenings enjoying the covered upper deck, watching the sunset. There were plenty of comfortable deck chairs up and downstairs. The house itself is well stocked with everything you might need and was very clean and comfortable. If you are lazy like us, there is a Publix close by to order food/liquor for delivery during your stay. The location is great for access to restaurants, and a trolley to go to John’s Pass…if you can make yourself leave this delightful house! Walter was very responsive and helpful during our check in. We have zero complaints and were 100% happy with our stay at High Tide.

Can’t get any closer to the beach than this Walking distance to many restaurants. Can walk for miles and miles on the beach. Sunsets every night from the porch. House needs some work. Bedroom rugs are stained and should be removed. Traffic noise from bedrooms Living room ceiling peeling. Kitchen needs updating. Overall it comes down to the location which is ideal!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. It truly was the perfect location for our family. The deck is amazing and right on the beach so our kids were able to safety travel back and forth from the house to the beach. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our week. We were within walking distance of several restaurants. The property manager, Walt, was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. We really hope to be back next year if the dates are available.

This property fit us perfectly. We enjoyed being on the beach. Loved the porch. We were able to sit outside or enjoy the view through the panoramic windows.

As a family of four who has many different vacation agendas this place was perfect! It was a very spacious two-bedroom unit 50 yards from the water's edge, walking distance to great restaurants and the trolly stop was couple steps away to take us shopping on Johns Pier. The house is very clean and fully stocked with anything you would need for a beach vacation. House and furniture are dated as shown in photos, but perfectly suited for a beach retreat. The deck facing the ocean was the star of the property! A relaxing spot for viewing sunrises, boats, dolphin and fantastic sun sets! My 10- and 8-year-old asked when we can go back .....as we were pulling out of the driveway!

We enjoyed our stay very much. For a few days family was able to visit. Porch was awesome, morning coffee and beautiful sunsets. Dolphins sightings on many mornings. Beach steps away made days on the beach so convenient. Would love to return again next year!
