Fantastic view from hill overlooking marina.

Steep hills.

Rey was an amazing host, went down for 5 nights with my wife on our honeymoon and Rey treated us like family. Anything we needed or somewhere to go he was always there to help. If i could rate him and the place more I would. 100% recommend to anyone going to Quepos and going to Casa Federico. Beaches and other sightseeings are minutes away driving or taxi. Everything was convenient!

Nothing everything was great.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Federico! The view is phenomenal, and we enjoyed watched the macaws, parrots, hummingbirds, and more zoom around from the rooftop patio. It was very comfortable for our family. The hilly drive to the house is a bit intimidating, but the marina below is a really nice spot for sunset dinners and ice cream.

Friendly host, happy to give all sorts of advice, great view, original open living space. Ocean view is amazing!

Outdoor space so you have to ensure to not leave any traces of food: ants. A lot of them ...also, the two beds are in one room which was not clear from the description so all share one space to sleep.

Beautiful sunsets and gorgeous view of Marina Pez Vela. Quiet and relaxing. Rey would take us where we needed to go if our cab was late or didn't show up that was nice. Rey was very helpful.

Walking down the hill was a little challenging but it is doable

Reymar is an excellent host and the apartment is in an amazing location, the views are stunning and the wildlife is great. I highly recommend this place!

The toilet didn't always work very well but it was usuable and reymar would fix any problem.

Rey was an "above and beyond" host! I was traveling alone, and he made sure that I always had what I needed - whether it was coffee, a ride into town, or an activity recommendation. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful!

The place is up a very large hill, which can be difficult for tour vans to find (and can be arduous if you don't have a car). However, it also means you are tucked away in the trees amongst the monkeys and have an incredible ocean sunset view!

the only drawback (minor) is that it’s up a steep hill so you have a good 15m walk from the bus terminal

Fabulous views, you can enjoy wildlife spotting and see exotic birds and animals without even leaving the property. Reymar is the very best of hosts: he is so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. He will help with everything. Great place to stay, we absolutely loved it.

The reason you have a great views is that it s a steep climb to the property. But the apartment is fantastic, so no other bad comments!

Need a car

Absolutely stunning apartment overlooking the sea. Perfect view of the sunset. Air conditioning works perfectly and there is a fan outside for keeping cool outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved everything!!

Reymar is an absolutely incredible host! He definitely is willing to go above and beyond for his guests. The location of the property is perfect! The view is beautiful if you love watching tides come in and out and watching the sunset. Reymar consistently was informing me of things to do/places to eat/ etc. He was also willing to pick me up in town a couple of nights after a few drinks so I did not have to walk home in the dark. The kitchen is slightly understocked to what most would be used to but there is definitely a sufficient amount of dishes to couple simple meals! I cooked most of my meals while I was there. I loved staying here and I hope one day I end up back in this beautiful country! This place also now has air conditioning. I have seen a few older reviews stating that it did not. There is a warm shower also! I have no complaints about my stay. Thank you so much, Reymar!
