Loft in exceptional condition. Great communication with owners Carole and Basil. Well informed of check in /check out process. Loft close to trains, buses and Uber found us with ease. Secure building, quiet and exactly what we had hoped for in a vacay away home. 5 to our party, all adults and all thouroughly enjoyed our stay. I know this would be the place I would stay again for sure.

It was perfect for our weekend to visit our daughter at DePaul University. So close to everything, parking was great, accommodations were perfect!

We were looking for a place to stay where we could have our own space. The apartment was clean and close to public transportation. Street parking was easy and convenient.

This loft was clean and in a great area. It housed our group of 7 perfectly for sleeping eating and entertaining ourselves. The kitchen is huge and I’m sad we didn’t really use it.

We booked this property for our family enjoying a few days in Chicago. It was spacious and included many amenities. We appreciated the space to sprawl out!

This was the perfect space for our family out of town Christmas gathering with adult children. The rental was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. We arrived pretty late at night and our host met us out front even though it was a typical cold Chicago night. She even provided traffic cones so we could keep our parking spot right in front of the rental. Will definitely rent this unit again.

The property was spotless, beds comfortable, and location about 3 blocks to the red line. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and the bedroom/bath layout was great. Carole was always easy to communicate with, answering her emails within 15 minutes. Yes, I would recommend the MagicFactory Lofts.

We loved this condo! Beautifully decorated with artwork from around the world and incredibly spacious layout. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and towels. Gourmet kitchen was amazing and very well stocked. Location was perfect - walking distance to Whole Foods and other stores and restaurants. Carole and her team were terrific and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Although our group was smaller than anticipated last minute it was an excellent stay. We had some issues with our tv but the communication with the property manager was beyond excellent and his friendliness and eagerness to help was incredible. We stayed here for the Chicago marathon and we had a great time walking around the city (the property is a couple miles from grant park) and getting to know so many different neighborhoods, it was a great spot for my family to watch at a miles 4 and 14 with the property being pretty close by for such an amazingly crowded race :) We love Chicago and would definitely consider this property again!

My husband, my adult children, their spouses and I loved the property and the location. Carole and Basil have thought of everything.

Stayed here for a long weekend with a group of friends reunion in Chicago. Clean, spacious and well decorated. Seemed to have a kitchen well equipped for preparing meals, but we only used the coffee maker. Check in was simple and access to the building and unit provided via a variety of keycodes. Was a little concerned about the neighborhood not being familiar with Chicago, but turned out to be not a concern at all. Would definitely stay here again.

The property fit our needs perfectly... great location for being our 'command center' and easy access to EVERYTHING. Would definitely come back the next time we have business in Chicago.

Met up with some old friends to catch the Mets while they were in town + watch some great live comedy. Magic Factory was a great place for us to stay and close enough to the metro to navigate Chicago easily. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was a wonderful space with plenty of room for more than 5 adults. The hosts were very communicative, friendly and happy to share their experience of the neighborhood with us. It made a wedding weekend perfect.

Used Magic Factory as a base for our sail racing crew. It provided a quiet and homey respite after long days on the water where we could relax, have team dinners and debrief in comfortable surroundings.

Carole and Basil were great hosts. The space was just as advertised- clean and well appointed, with all the essentials we needed. Check in was easy and the location was great for Chicago adventures. Highly recommend!

The Magic Factory Loft 2 West is a great place. It is enormous with a designer kitchen. The place is very clean and well supplied with all that you would need. While there were just 3 of us, it would make a wonderful place for a family since there is so much room. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood and building are safe and for the most part quiet. There is a Target, Whole Foods and another grocery store within walking distance in addition to several restaurants in the New City shopping area. Highly recommend.

Incredible 5-day vacation for six women in Chicago for Cubs/Red Sox series. Great communications from the owners prior to arriving; they sent us information on transportation, restaurants, everything you need to know. We were a little worried when we first pulled up; from the outside it doesn’t look like much. Carol was there to greet us and walk us through our security codes. As soon as you open the door you can see how nice everything is. Elevator (and a lovely mannequin we dubbed “Edith” in the foyer). Secure code access to the building, to the elevator, and to the unit. Unit was beautiful, immaculately clean, had everything one would need except perishable groceries. Carol gave us the guided tour, then used a map to show us how to get to grocery, restaurants, train, etc. All very walkable within a few blocks. Comfortable beds, living room. Kitchen is stunning. Our second night, we had an issue with the television. Carol was there within 10 minutes to fix the problem. Could not be nicer or more helpful. Highly recommend staying at one of their properties – we now need to think about a trip to stay at one of theirs in Greece!

This property was above and beyond our expectations. Exceptionally clean and plenty of space for our entire party to enjoy! It is located near the L and several bus stops which made it easy to get anywhere in Chicago without having to find parking.

I couldn’t say enough about this place. Great location. Very safe and comfortable. I have stay quite a few places and would probably choose this place as one of my top two.

A well appointed condo for our purposes. Carole's suggestion for dining and attractions was helpful even though I grew up in the North burbs. We had a great time!! If we ever need to find a VRBO in the future, yours would be a first pick.

The hearting system was set at 72 degrees and could not be reset. Not enough utensils for cooking. Paid for cleaning and we were asked to take out the trash in an alley...hmmm.
