Great location.

Had a wonderful time at the Hidden Pine Lodge. Very quaint and quiet. Close to the city but still far enough out to be peaceful. Will be back if in the area again.

Wonderful property, perfect for the grandparents to hang out with the kiddos! Awesome deck and yard to play board and yard games on a beautiful summer weekend. Very spacious and clean interior. Highly recommended!

Our family enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin. Easy to locate, stocked with everything we needed, and near our day destinations - nine mile forest, Weston aquatic center, and more. We packed a few Blu-rays to watch movies at night and had good cell reception to use hotspots when needed. Appreciated the multiple bedroom options and two full baths. We look forward to staying again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for four adults and three medium sized dogs. We loved the seclusion and nice big yard, spent all our time on the deck. Firepit was a bonus! No TV or WiFi which was no big deal, it's nice to disconnect for a few days. Beds could use an upgrade, they were a little stiff. Close to hiking trails and dog friendly restaurants. Thank you Steve and Alison, we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay. The owners were excellent to work with and so helpful. We needed a place between house closing. We were very stressed and this places was so relaxing. A very needed quiet and relaxing 5 days. We highly recommend staying here and plan on coming back for our anniversary.

We choose a new spot for girls weekend every year and this time we chose Wausau! Property was very clean and check in was easy! The cabin was so cute and slept all 7 of us no problem at all! Host was lovely and answered any questions we had right away! Highly recommend booking year round but we loved the winter scene, very cozy and would be perfect place to stay if you plan to ski Rib Mountain!

Cabin is really cute and fit all of our needs! We came to ski at Granite Peak and also went to Sylvan Hill to go tubing! We felt safe, cabin had everything we needed and we enjoyed the fireplace after skiing each day!

We came to the area to watch the first Ice Oval Sprint Cup at Wausau 525 Racetrack. It was our first visit to the area. Staying at the cozy cabin added a lovely place to relax in front of a fire after a day at the races.

Clean, well stocked, cozy cabin in a safe secluded area only 15 minutes from granite peak skiing. Comfortable accommodation for 7 people. Such a lovely setting we hope to stay again!

Cozy cabin surrounded by trees. You really feel secluded. We had a great stay and enjoyed skiing at Granite Peak a couple days which is less than 20 minutes away, tubing hill just minutes away and lots of restaurants. The cabin was wonderful.

We visited Wausau for the Birds in Art exhibit at the Leigh Yakey Woodson museum and we loved the location of this place! Quick trip into the museum and a quiet, restful setting in the woods.

We found the home clean, well appointed (inside and out), and everything as advertised. There was some confusion over directions to the home due to construction but quickly handled by the host. If you are in the area check in to this cozy home.

The ultimate ski cabin! Super comfortable and welcoming for our entire family. My father in law slept in the basement bedroom while the kids slept across the hall from us upstairs. Functional kitchen. Cozy couches. Clean. Games and books. Loved it! Not a bad drive to Granite Peak. Host was accessible and helpful all around.

The property needs to be maintained. The main door to house is a patio door that is hard to open. The lighting is poor & the home was very dusty. Location is good, however it is 20 minutes to Granite Peak. The add states "minutes" from GP. That is accurate, but to me that means 5ish. :)

We had a wonderful stay celebrating Christmas with our family and our dogs. Very comfortable home, cutely decorated (complete with a decorated tree!) with room for everyone. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere all the while being close enough to run to town for the extras you need. Absolutely recommend and look forward to our next stay!

We had a very comfortable stay here. The large private lot is terrific and the home suited us well. The location close to town is a plus. We needed a place on short notice and were so happy to find such a good fit.

Great location. Close to everything, but very peaceful & quiet

This property is great! It's close enough to town that if you need to get things, it's a 15 minute drive and there's enough space for people to spread out and not be on top of each other. Property was super clean and overall it was amazing.

This cabin was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids for an extended weekend. Everyone had a blast! The adults had a little too much fun at the school park down the road!

Overall very happy with this rental. And we would rent here again. The items below are ways the owner could improve the overall experience, but I'm splitting hairs with some of the items - this is a nice place.1. Dressers in the bedrooms would be nice. You need to live out of your travel bag as there is no good place to unpack. Shelves in one closet somewhat helpful.2. More hangers - there were none available in the closet of the room I was in.3. More coat hooks, both in the bedrooms and by the main sliding glass door. Would just be nice to have some options for hanging stuff up.4. And a more convenient key rack by the main sliding glass door. One key hook on the backside of the table is functional, but inconvenient.5. Towel, washcloth, and toothbrush holders mounted on the wall to the right side of the sink would be nice. Ladies tend to spread out their personal stuff on the counter space. And that doesn't leave much room left for linen.6. TVs - only 1 in the basement. Would be nice if there were additional TVs in bedroom or in the main room.7. Main Fireplace. Nice fireplace but the owner makes it hard to use with lots of special requirements and not having all needed items readily available. I think use of fire starter logs should be allowed. Just make the enjoyment of a fire an easy extra, not a have to work at it to get a fire going. We are hear in the winter for skiing, a fire for ambiance is almost a must. Make it easier.8.Thermostat - functional and you figure it out - but it is not overly user friendly. 9. Sliding door - doesn't slide real easily. You'll develop some muscles opening and closing that door if you stay for any length of time. Seems a little TLC or bottom slide/wheel replacement would go along way to making this door work better.10. Kitchen Utensils. A crock or two on top of the counter for utensils could really unjunk the drawer. It was hard to see what you had. So many things you almost had to unpack the drawer just to find the item you wanted.Again, the items above are splitting hairs, it is a nice place, secluded, and offers a relaxing place to come home to after a day of skiing.Patrick
