We love this property so much that renting it has become a tradition. The kids finish school, we pack up the car, and head to the lake. The location is a short 10 miles from the excitement of Lake George Village, but yet far enough to enjoy the laid-back lake life. The home is clean and comfortable. It comes equipped with everything that you'll need for your stay for both indoors and outdoors! We love having access to kayaks. The firepit and lawn games are also a great bonus! The hosts are amazing. They are available by phone and text if you need anything The check-in process and the documents provided in advance, really make eveything a breeze! We love this tradition and always look forward to our annual visit!

We just had the best time!! Our hosts, Joe and Tammy, were so awesome! When we arrived, they even left us a bottle of wine to welcome us! And then a storm went through one night of our stay, and we lost power. They both checked in on us to make sure we were ok, and they even continued to check on the progress to see when the power would be restored. So kind and helpful!! Also, the home was very clean, and the location was wonderful! The beach is so close... however there are quite a few steps to get down to is, so due to my health issues I was sad I couldn't enjoy it. But there is another beach right down the street which is great!! We loved the porch with the lights at night. And we wish we had more time to stay to enjoy the fire pit. Overall, we had a really great time and highly recommend this home!! We thank Joe and Tammy for a wonderful stay!!

It was all that it appeared to be. The location was perfect, quiet yet close to many attractions. There was something to do for everyone!

This was our Fourth Year renting this “Immaculate” We’ll kept and fully Equipped Home! It is so close to the Lake, that I walked down many mornings to the beach to enjoy my coffee! I have many family members that rent in this area also! It is an Ideal spot, with endless things to do.

Joe and Tammy were the perfect hosts for their beautiful home in Lake Luzerne. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious inside / outside setup, along with the close proximity to the beach. There was also an abundance of toys for the kids to use which they enjoyed. Highly recommend booking this home if you’re looking for a family getaway in Luzerne!

This is our fourth time renting this property which truly supports my five star review! The house is perfect for my family of 5. The short walk to the lake makes it easy to spend a relaxing day at Lake Luzurne with the conveniences of "home." The many extras that the homeowners include make our stay that much more enjoyable. When we started visiting the Lake George area I didn't realize how much there was to do, but we have yet to repeat one of our excursions! The home is centrally located to so many areas that it makes day trips a breeze!

Joe and Tammy were very responsive from the beginning before we even booked with an open line of communication during our stay! The house was very clean, organized, and better than we expected! The lake was a short walk of two houses away and we were easily able to bring the kayaks down to use at the private beach. We will definitely be staying here again! FIVE STARS*****

Very clean and comfortable lake house, fully equipped with everything you need, and very close to the Lake! So close you can enjoy your morning coffee down on the lake!

We rented from July 8-15, 2021. This is our 2nd year staying at Tammy and Joe's place. We had a great week despite rainy days. We BBQ a few nights and we enjoyed the firepit making smores. The house was very clean, and having 2 full bathrooms were key with 3 teenagers. There were plenty of towels for us to use as well as TP, hand soap and paper towels. We plan to rent again next summer.

This home was comfortable, clean and had everything nearby. The owners Tammy and Joe were very friendly and helpful. Totally would recommend this rental to my friends an family.

Another Great Vacation was had in this Beautiful Lakehouse in a Great location and a serene setting and steps away from the Lake! The house is Immaculate and Fully equipped. Because of the Pandemic this year we spent most of our time at the family friendly lake Luzerne beach which turned out to be so relaxing and calming. The owners are Great to work with also!

This Lake House had everything we needed to be very comfortable! The property owners thought of everything. We enjoyed our mornings kayaking on the lake, afternoons playing mini golf, hanging out in the yard or out hiking the nearby trails. We even took a ride to check out Lake Placid. Our evenings were spent by the firepit or around the dining table playing games. I am glad we chose this house for our vacation this year!

We had an amazing time at this property. The house was very clean and homey . We loved having an outdoor shower, which we used after a day at the lake which is a 3 minute walk. We used the grill and fire pit a few nights and the kids had a blast. We went to Lake George twice and went to Up river Cafe for a delicious dinner. The owners were very accommodating and responded to any questions I had. Our 6 nights away at this house was not long enough...we hopefully plan to rent this property next summer. The Lakehouse at Luzerne exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and. comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. It was a quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to the beach using the beach cart provided by the owners tp carry all our belongings. The beach and shallow waters were perfect for our grandchildren who are 9, 6, and 14 months old. We enjoyed using 2 of the 3 kayaks on site which was an added bonus! If you want to visit an area with shops and more restaurants, the village of Lake George is just over 10 miles away. We were lucky to get a dinner. reservation at the Upriver Cafe which was a 3 minute drive away and the food was great. Tammy and Joe were very quick to respond to any questions we had before or doing our stay. Our schedules did. not allow us to stay more than 4 nights,, but I would love to come back next year if possible. It was such a relaxing stay and a good time for all! Thank you Tammy and Joe!

This is our second year visiting Lake Luzurne. Initially we were on the fence about cancelling because of Covid-19 restrictions, but ultimately we decided that a change of scenery was exactly what we needed. Let me start with the property owners - they could not have been more accommodating. They fully understood our concerns and were super flexible with us. As usual the house was immaculate. We were even assured that more thorough, deeper cleanings were occurring. The property is literally a slice of perfection. Everything you could need in one conveniently located home. We spent the majority of our days at the lake kayaking and fishing. Our nights were spent by the firepit. The lake wasn't officially open (darn Covid) but those that were there were socially distancing and responsible. We didnt eat out as often as we typically would during vacation, but plenty of restaurants were offering outdoor dining and take out. Bons ice cream was open and...well when you're on vacation ice cream for dinner is totally acceptable. Even with some restrictions in place there was still plenty to do. Many of the Lake George shops were open (masks required). Hiking at Shelving Rock Falls is always a fun morning. The owners suggested the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course and it did not disappoint! We hope to be back next summer. We love Lake Luzurne and this home!

Without a doubt, one of the best VRBO rentals and experiences we have ever had! Joe and his wife were very accommodating to all of our needs during our stay and their house has everything you can think of while on vacation away from home! After spending our days out & about exploring, renting a boat on nearby Lake George or relaxing at the lake beach just 3 houses away, we came back to a comfortable & peaceful retreat for dinner & s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. The house has everything you need for inside & out entertainment, including kayaks & beach chairs. The location has activities for all interests within a short drive. I can't say enough great things about the lake house! My husband had vacationed in Lake George when he was younger and had always mentioned that he wanted to bring our family there. I had researched the area and was a bit apprehensive. Our boys are 10, 8 and 5 and I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough to keep their interest. I couldn't have been more wrong! The lake house is steps away from Lake Luzurne. There is a small beach which has a great shallow area where the kids could comfortably play. They built castles, played in the lake, fished and best of all kayaked! The use of the kayaks were included with the rental. What a perk! When we weren't spending time at Lake Luzurne, we were spending time in Lake George village which was a short 10 minute drive. There was so much to do. Shopping, eating, arcades, mini-golf, steamboat rides, farmers market and of course Martha's Ice Cream. Yum! A quick 40 minute drive brought us to the Natural Stone Brige and Caves for a hike. The scenery is breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. And of course...my boys love to climb, so it was the perfect excursion! We had rain one morning but that didn't spoil our day. We headed in to Queensbury to see a movie, but outlet shopping could have been a great alternative. Lake Luzurne was the perfect location and the lake house was fantastic. The owners didn't miss a detail. From the kayaks, to the firepit, to the grill and even the Adirondak wine that was left on the counter each detail made our vacation that much more enjoyable. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Had we had one more day we would have gone tubing and to see the rodeo! Our lake vacation was exactly what our busy family needed. Time to slow down, unwind, enjoy each other's company! Tammy and Joe, your home is beautiful! If you continue to rent it in 2020...pencil us in!

Joe & Tammy have a beautiful home in Lake Luzerne!! The home was fully furnished, clean and came with some wonderful touches to complete your stay. Steps away from the beach. The neighborhood is perfect for long walks. Very peaceful and relaxing! Close to Lake George, Warrensburg, Saratoga and Sacandaga Lake. Experience some of the local restaurants and shops. We had a fantastic Easter week at this property with our 6 and 4 year old. There is a small safe beach to walk to. Close to town . House was pristine. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay.

We have small children and this location, just 3 houses away from the beautiful Lake Luzerne beach, was just perfect for us. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We wanted for nothing except more time to be there! The information about the surrounding amenities was extremely helpful; we found the Nigro's recommendations for restaurants and activities impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening stars by the firepit and morning coffee on the deck with the hummingbirds. We had a lovely time reconnecting as a family and hope we can make it back again sometime soon.

We loved it! The house is beautiful, clean, the bedrooms were perfect for our entire family. We had everything you needed in the kitchen like microwave, stove, toaster oven, dishwasher, pots, frying pans, baking pans, glasses, mugs, silverware, even a keurig on the counter. We stocked the refrigerator when we got there and we were all set. There is a grill on the deck along with an outside table and chairs. The deck has outside lights wrapped around the railings and sitting by the fire pit is a must!!!! The inside furniture looks brand new (not outdated). The master is spacious with a king bed and master bathroom has a shower. The second bedroom had a queen, and the kids room has bunk beds will a full size on the bottom. High ceilings in the living room and the living room is all open which I loved. You could be sitting at the dining room table and still have conversations with someone watching TV on the couch or in the kitchen. Loved having my coffee in the morning watching the bluejays and humming birds outside the big dining room windows. The lake is so close, no car needed and we were able to use the kayaks, beach chairs, sand toys for the kids. They even had beach towels for us to use as well as towels for the shower. There is also a washer and dryer. They left brochures for many things to do, we rented a boat to go out on Lake George which is about 10 minutes car ride so very easy to go into the town of Lake George. We went tubing and rafting. The scenery is just beautiful and we will definitely be returning and staying in this house. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend renting this house!

I took my family including my parents and in laws for a week stay at the lake house, we couldn't be any more delighted with the entire trip. It is apparent from the moment you arrive that the house is well cared for and immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and one child for everyone to be comfortable. We enjoyed all the amenities the property has to offer including, walking distance to lake & beach, swimming in the lake and relaxing on the beach (chairs & beach cart included on property) Kayaking in the lake was amazing! 2 kayaks & ores included on property as well. At night we enjoyed sitting on the deck and smores at the fire pit in the yard, for a treat be sure to visit Bons ice cream just a few minutes down the road, biggest cones I've ever seen! There is a great deal of activities and places to eat nearby and The Drive to Lake George's main strip is only 12 minutes from the house and there are a ton of activities to choose from there. I took my daughter parasailing, the views of lake George and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. We enjoyed a free concert in the park, music from a Beatles cover band. Overall we had an amazing time and stay at this house. We will definitely be back...

My family could not have been happier with the Lake House. It is beautiful! Very comfortable, spacious, clean and well kept and had everything we could have possibly needed. We ventured out to the many attractions and adventures during the day and enjoyed the campfire with smores for all at night. The beach just steps away was wonderful and we were surprised to discover another beach within walking distance that has shaded areas and picnic areas. Lake George Village is just a short ride from the house with many restaurants, shopping and arcades for the kids. In 8 days we went swimming a couple of times, boating, hiking, fishing, rafting and sight seeing. So much to do we could have stayed another week. It was so nice to spend the days outdoors and come back to a beautiful house and BBQ and spend time out on the deck and let the kids enjoy the backyard. Thank you Tammy and Joe for sharing your house with us. We felt very welcome as soon as we walked through the door. We will definitely stay at the Lake House the next time we have the opportunity to vacation in this area.

From the moment we arrived we felt the struggles of life melt away. The close proximity to the lake is a huge plus, but we loved the house and it’s peaceful surroundings the most. We would definitely come back to this property. The house was perfect and the fenced in yard was a plus with children. Having access to the kayaks and lake lazurne just a few steps away was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Our family of six were very comfortable in this beautiful home. Hosts are very accommodating and they provide kayaks and chairs for the lake. It took us about a minute to walk down to the lake. It has off street parking and a large backyard to relax by the firepit. We would rent this place again!
