We had a great stay. Very clean, great location. The living room furniture has been updated since pictures were taken. The location is great. We walked to the pier for sunrise everyday and to Bean Point for sunset everyday. Both are right down the street. We also were able to walk to Pine Ave for ice cream and shopping. Fun area! We will definitely be back

Communication, cleanliness and convenience to beaches and the town were superb! Everything we needed was available. Ed’s responsiveness was top-notch. Can’t wait to be back again next year for the month ☺️

Great location, good clean unit, comfortable beds, could use some updates/repairs to the bikes, chair's and such but great deal for the money. Overall it was perfect for us to be able to stay on the island!

Description stated that the beach was was 200 feet from the property, which was our primarly destination. It was more like 400 feet to the water that was rocky and mostly private. We had to walked several blocks to get to a beach to lay on.

The Ballyhoo is clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked. Fabulous Bean Point is a 5 minute walk away. Ed is helpful and attentive. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our time on the island. Ed was wonderful with everything from check in, local recommendations, great communication and just overall very friendly. The space was just as described and the bikes made for a great outdoor day including a ride for ice cream. We highly recommend and would definately stay again.

Very clean and well stocked house. Absolute perfect location, right across from pier and beaches. Not crowded at all on the north end. Kitchen had all the dishes and accessories we needed. Plenty of towels and toiletries for our whole stay. There were even bikes, beach cart and canopy, and fishing gear available for use. Ed was happy to answer any questions before and during our stay, and even had quite a few good suggestions for dining and activities. Would stay here again if we get the opportunity!

House has everything you need. Location is awesome. Easy Beach access. The Rod & Reel Pier was a great spot to fish. So close to everything. We love everything about AMI. Thanks for being such a great host Ed!!! We can’t wait to come back.

This is a super cute impeccably clean midcentury duplex with tons of retro touches in a location central to bay and beach. Easy walk to both bay and gulf beach. Totally stocked with towels, blankets, fishing supplies, and bikes. Loved it.

The cottage was a short walk to the beach as well as the Rod & Reel Pier which is a funky historical restaurant and bar. Could not be a better location on the island.

First time our family stayed on this side of the island. The house is in a great location to access the bay park for snorkeling, bean point for fishing and Pine Ave for shopping. The house had everything we need. The best part for my wife was the A/C was cold.

Ed was very communicative before, during, and after our stay. We were looking for a quiet family getaway and that’s exactly what we found. Everything was provided and we did lots of cooking and grilling during our stay. Great water pressure! Having Bayfront Park so close was awesome. We visited the bay side of the island as it was calmer water for our school aged children. We saw dolphins and a manatee during our time there. Highly recommend!

I would give 6 stars if possible. The host is great and the house is wonderful. Easy beach access and the island is lovely.

We enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. The house is located close to the bean… you are just a quick walk away to watch the sunrise and sunset!

We really enjoyed being a short walk to beach access and the Rod and Reel Pier. The house was clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The area locals were very friendly and helpful. The owner was very polite and accommodating. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay here! Ed the host is very helpful and communicative with anything you need. The location is great! Right by the Rod & Reel pier(perfect spot for a sunrise), the entrance to Bean Point is a quick walk as well. But also far enough away from the main roads that it's quiet. Also though easy enough wall to hop on the trolley. House was super clean and well air conditioned to cool off in. Use this space as a perfect, quiet getaway!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Ballyhoo! Everything you need (except food) is supplied. Washer/dryer, one beach chair and umbrella as well as bicycles. Walking distance to Rod and Reel Pier and restaurant and short distance to beach and shopping within bicycle ride. Our host Ed was more than accommodating and we hope to enjoy another stay at the Ballyhoo.

We came to the Island for the first time from Michigan and we absolutely had the best vacation! Not only is this rental nice and clean, it was the location that made everything so easy and relaxing. The beach, the piers, Pine Ave, Bayfront park, all an easy walk. We even rented a golf cart (Lazy Turtle) which was less than a 10 minute walk to pick up. We got groceries at Publix and grilled every night, then rode the bikes provided to watch the sunsets. Beach days we filled the beach cart with the cooler, chairs, and umbrella… and that was it! There’s a small table outside where we ate and people watched. This really was the perfect spot for the 2 of us! Thank you Ed, for checking in! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Ed’s place!!! Amazing communication and so helpful answering any questions we had!! We really loved the provided bikes! Rented tag along bikes from Beach Bums for the kids! So much fun biking the north end of the island and finding beautiful beach entrances and breakfast spots. Super close to Rod and Reel pier! We also loved Bayfront park! Great beach spot with shade! Other great things: Comfortable beds, towels and sheets provided, beach chairs provided!

Very cute and very clean cottage close to the beautiful Tampa Bay and downtown Anna Maria. This cottage has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Anna Maria! I recommend this cottage and will be back! The owner even supplies bikes for guests although we didn’t get to use them due to unusual cold weather this Christmas! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at your Anna Maria getaway….we look forward to a return visit in the future!

This property reminds me of an old, original home on the island. It had all that we needed, communication was very good, and we could walk to the fishing pier, bay, and beach easily and quickly.

Enjoyed the house very much, it was perfect for my husband and I. It has everything we needed. Very close to Bean Point beaches.

We had a fantastic stay at Ballyhoo, the location is perfect, less than 5 minutes walk to Rod and Reel pier to watch the beautiful sunrises and to do a bit of fishing using the fishing rods from the house. It is about 10 minutes walk to city pier and the end of pine avenue and took us about 25 minutes to walk to the Sandbar for a meal and catch the sunset. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more for the 3 of us, we used the bikes for a ride around the island. It was very good having the list of information in the cupboard if you needed to know anything, the wifi was brilliant and the bed was super comfy. Check in and checking out was easy and communication with Ed was very easy and he always answered quickly if you needed to know anything, he is also very helpful with suggesting things and places you might want to do before you arrive. We 100% recommend staying here for anyone looking to stay at the north end of the island. Our biggest regret is not staying longer but we plan to return and stay for longer next time.

The rental was spacious and perfect for walking to the rod and reel pier and the north beach. Dolphin sightings were a daily event. Our host was very helpful with suggesting outings.

Excellent stay! Loved bean point beach! Sooo close, we rode the bikes provided and took only 3 min to get there! Property is very clean and has all the needed essentials. Would definitely recommend. Loved this area of the island!!!

The property was great. We loved the privacy and the specious living space. If you love this side of the island, I 100% recommend this place! The owner was super communicative and made grade dining recommendations as well. It was the wrong side of the island for us - I didn't realize the beaches on this side of the island had shark and rip tide warnings which make me uncomfortable with 2 small children. The beach that was closest to us was much to narrow with too many trees for my kids to play and fly their kites, so we drove to the other side of the island as per usual, but the parking was near impossible (we usually walk from where we stay on that side.)

This was a very clean property with everything you need . It is in a great (quiet) location for walking to the beach. I've been on the island before, but I'll be staying here again.
