Great location and stay- repeat visit for us. Highly recommend.

The apartment exceeded our expectation. It was extremely clean and well-located. Close to city market, the carriage tours, restaurants, and King street. We didn’t think we needed a kitchen since we were only there for 2 nights but it was great to have a refrigerator and microwave when we brought leftovers from the restaurants.

My husband and I traveled to Charleston for a wedding and booked on VRBO based on location, pictures and reviews. The property was perfect in every way and exceeded our expectations. Most people coming in for the wedding stayed at a local hotel ,and they were very disappointed with their accommodations , but we couldn't say enough positive things about our stay! The location was ideal, check in was a breeze, beautiful interior, and the entire unit was spotless ! Couldn't have been any happier!!! Thank you Matt! You have the best place in Charleston :)

This adorable apartment space is perfect for a couples romantic getaway and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Charleston. We look for cleanliness, comfortable bedding, ample hot water, and a small cooking space and this place checked all of our boxes. Would recommend and stay again!

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our stay. The largest draw back was the elevator. It was slow but we were made aware of that. The issue was it was a little scary ride with the doors needing to be closed several times on each ride.

This was first time renting a VRBO. The property was in an ideal location for all of the wedding activities that we had to attend. It was spacious, clean and more beautiful than the pictures!! We were right in the middle of all of the restaurants, shops and local markets of the historic district. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay!!

It was a great location. We had an issue with the toilet kicking on every 30 minutes but we addressed with owner. I do feel like you could smell the restaurant downstairs but only in the hallways and not necessarily in the room itself. Cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. Elevator was very slow but we were told about that beforehand so we were prepared, which was good. Overall it was a convenient location if you want to stay downtown and the suite had everything we needed for the small amount of time we were there.

The Vrbo that we had was just perfect. It was spotless and clean. We were in the heart of Charleston and within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Would highly recommend

The room is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. There was plenty of coffee, and I enjoyed early mornings at the window-side dining table watching the streets. The bed and soaking tub were fantastic and relaxing. The location is great - an easy walk to basically the whole peninsula. And so economical! Honestly, the only real thing I could imagine someone taking issue with is the 45 second elevator, but I find things like that endearing/charming. I'm looking forward to booking again the next time I come to Charleston!

Comfy and clean apartment. Matt responded quickly to a question. Just as described by pictures. Very convenient to walking to the College of Charleston with my daughter. Great choice!

This property is just perfect for visitors to Charleston who want to be where the action is. Located very close to lots of restaurants, historical places and King Street shopping. Communications from the owner about location and parking were very helpful. If you plan on eating in (but really, why would you in Charleston?) be advised that kitchen facilities are limited and there is no oven.

We've stayed at this property twice and both times have found it clean and tidy. We love the location as it's within walking distance to so many shopping and restaurants choices.

The suite we had was absolutely perfect. Great location with easy walking or green line bus anywhere you want to go. One block from the top of Market and many restaurants close by. Matt, the owner bailed us out of a jam at the last minute and was the best to work with. Can't say enough as to how we enjoyed the suite and this will be our go to location the next time in Charleston.

This was our first visit to Charleston and we found this clean, comfortable apartment to be just as described! You can not beat the location for easy walking to so many of the city’s museums, restaurants, and attractions. Matt communicated detailed information with us before our arrival with where to park and how to access the building and it all went seamlessly. Highly recommend this rental!

Seriously, park your car and walk this beautiful city! We stayed in the Charleston unit. It was perfect for two people. Very clean and decorated nicely. Comfy bed. Yes, the elevator is slow, thanks for the warning. We felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed walking to the restaurants, Fort Sumter tour and the walking tours. We would definitely stay here again. For us it was so much nicer than your cookie cutter hotels. Thank you!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. Nice big bedroom, spacious family room area, high ceilings and perfectly clean. We loved it! Also loved how we could walk to all the hot spots from there. Communication with the owner was excellent. Definitely would be happy to stay again!

Wow this VRBO is awesome!!! Perfect location, took a short elevator ride up to a pristine and immaculate very well designed 1 bedroom apartment! Loved all the furniture and the exposed brick, was also great to have a little kitchen with utensils. Unit had everything you need, hair dryer and toiletries for the shower too! I could hear the cars from the street below in the living room so I was shocked at how silent the bedroom was when I closed the door. You can tell when this property was renovated they really took the time to think out aesthetics and soundproofing. After a day of walking around the city it was great to come back to ice cold air conditioning and a great space to relax. Communication with the host was wonderful and everything had instructions on how to operate - made it really easy for us! We will be staying at this property (or one of the others listed by the host in the same building) again, having such a nice place to stay at a reasonable price is the main motivator for us deciding to make Charleston an annual family trip. Love, love, love this place!!

Matt is the best host you could wish for!

Have stayed here before and was happy with it. This time there was construction gone no on in the building which was not flagged in the posting. Loud construction noise occurred throughout both days, including a Jack hammer periodically. Surprisingly, the construction continued through the second night, waking us up at 1:30 in the morning. When I called the property owner at 2 am the construction noise stopped. Such a call should not have been necessary.

Very effortless

Could not have been a more beautiful home away from home in the most perfect location!! We walked this lovely, historical City for hours each morning, sharing all the joys and memories of my youth with my dear friend. We laughed out way up and down the elevator to begin and every excursion! Browsed and shopped in the Public Market. Enjoyed the enchanting Charleston Place hotel for cocktails and shopping! Just a simply wonderful three days!!!
