Good location

The room had an odd mildew smell. When we got in the bed, there was a foul smell coming from the bed. I noticed it was the pillows. The pillows still seemed to be a bit damp and there was a foul odor coming from the pillows. I notified the front desk and they said housekeeping would change them. When I returned to the room later that night, the same pillows were still on the bed. I texted the number that texted me inquiring about my stay and they text back saying they would follow up about my concerns. I texted the number again to let them know no one had been to the room and they stated, the front desk would be in contact with me. No one ever came. I notified the front desk at check out the next morning and told him I was not satisfied with my stay. I also told him I found it rude for housekeeping to knock on the door at 9:50am asking me if I’m checking out today. The front desk clerk asked if it was him who I spoke to the morning before, I told him it was. He said, I must have him mixed up with a coworker thinking they look alike. I told him I did not, it was him who I spoke with. The front desk worker did apologize but I don’t think I will return to this property.

It was central to where we needed to go

The staff weren’t really accommodating. They were all Indians and we are black, they would give us odd looks, especially when we would get back in when we left. When we checked in the guy front desk at the front desk was very dry and unwelcoming, he told us that there is an incidental fee of $100 and it would be nice if we could give him it in cash and we would get it back when we leave which we found odd cuz they usually put it on the card. When we finally got checked in, the room was dirty, there was a random wash cloth sitting on the counter when we walked in. The bed was dirty. I went downstairs to express my concerns to the same front desk agent and he wasn’t helpful, he said we couldn’t move cuz the hotel is full and I should check back with with him after he has his lunch. I asked about cxling and he said we couldn’t cxl. He said we could move rooms the next day which didn’t make sense. My partner, then went to him about the same situation and that is when we got a new room. The new room had a smell of mold and the shower faucet handle was broken off. We just had to stay for the 2 nights and we will not be going back.

Everything was fine.

The breakfast was disappointing. I did not eat it and had to eat breakfast elsewhere. The young owners tried to be nice and cooperative with the request made for the floor to be vacummed in the room. They were pleasant. An older man who may have been the father was not pleasant at all. With the amount of people booking his hotel that did not look anything like the photograph, and could use some serious updating and cleaning, he appeared rude.

The location was pretty close to everything you would need. The staff were very nice and helpful.

cleanliness is not a concern for them. They do the minimum. The toilet didn’t flush and they wanted us to stay in that room anyway until the next day. They moved us to another room where the furniture was raggedy and the vinyl on the sofa was peeling. We moved to another hotel the next day for the remainder of our trip. People loitering in the lobby with all their belongings.

Room was fairly clean and comfortable.

Upon arrival the desk clerk stated I had reservations for one night. I showed him my confirmation number and description on my phone from booking.com which was for 2 days. He said he could not change and I could stay one night. He was very rude and unhelpful. I had to demand he contact a manager to assist. He finally called one who told him he could see the 2 night reservation on his computer. The clerk then lied and told his mgr. That I had cancelled the transaction. I refuted and he finally let us check in after about 45 minutes. He continued to stare myself and my family down and I felt uncomfortable. My room a/c also was not cool which also was very uncomfortable. I will never stay there again.

Small bathroom. Couldn’t shut door easy without being in the way. Being right near highway you hear all the traffic
