Perfectly located in downtown Evanston with a quick walk to downtown Chicago train. Apartment was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

This is our second time staying here and it was as great as the first time. Whether spending time in the immediate area- golfing, hiking, sightseeing, shopping -or venturing to Downtown or Wrigley you have the best of all worlds. Communication with John is always prompt and they are on site if you need anything. We did not have a car this trip so easily used the train and Uber. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. Do not hesitate to book this property!

Casita Reva is charming. John and Amy are wonderful hosts. The casita has everything - a well-appointed kitchen, laundry, a comfortable bed and more. Public transportation, grocery stores, Northwestern and Lake Michigan are all within walking distance. If I return to Evanston I will absolutely return to Casita Reva. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for your hospitality.

This was the third time we stayed at Casita Reva and everything was wonderful as usual. Great location close to restaurants and shops, clean, very well equipped and has a lovely garden and patio area. John and Amy were very welcoming and made our stay complete.

Great value accommodation in Evanston. Casita Reva has everything a couple or single traveller would need. Beautiful and safe neighbourhood. Hosts are very accommodating and helpful. Good shops nearby. Overall a really excellent experience.

Very quiet and relaxing. Be sure to check on how to adjust the heat before you arrive. Otherwise all very good.

We could not have been more delighted in our Casita Reva stay and hope to get back some time. We were able to entertain with the full kitchen, we walked to restaurants, coffee shops and the train for easy access to Chicago. The ground floor apartment is sunny, south facing with a delightful garden area that even includes a cozy fire pit. Our host could not have been nicer, checking in to insure our stay was comfortable.

Unique, cozy, great host, best location! We enjoyed our stay at Casita Reva. So nice to be near Central St and especially liked walking to Ryan Field. Highly recommend staying here. All our needs were met.

Excellent location! Clean and comfortable! Convenient to shops, restaurants, and the “L”. So easy to get to Wrigley Field and not worry about traffic and parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay at Casita Reva! John and Amy were gracious hosts and VERY understanding when we discovered that we had accidentally taken their Guest Book home with us to Toronto, Canada! The beautiful decor, high end appliances, lovely garden and patio, great location near trains to downtown, and close to Northwestern University where my Conference was held, made this a perfect getaway! In June, we went to Chicago with our 23 year old son to help him move into a downtown apartment for the summer. At that time, the hotel prices in the city were outrageous. We were fortunate to find this Casita as it served as the perfect home away from home for the three of us for several days. It was warm and welcoming as were the owners. We enjoyed exploring a part of Chicago with much character that we may not have otherwise visited. There are interesting shops nearby, a tremendous selection of great restaurants in the surrounding area, a park, places to walk and golf courses. We very much enjoyed getting to know John and felt very welcomed and comfortable. Do not hesitate to book this property!

Super unique casita with gracious hospitality! Comfortable, quiet, cozy, super clean, washer and dryer, towels, everything you'll need. We walked to shops and dinner on Central St., great location, relaxed in the garden and had wine with Amy and John! I will recommend to all of our friends and family. We Loved it!

This Casita was perfect for me. It is quiet, close enough to shops and cafes to walk. Bed comfortable, TV fine. I was able to walk to Northwestern easily. I hope to return.

We LOVED our stay at this southwestern themed and happy Casita in Evanston. Despite the frigid temperatures outside during our visit, the apartment was welcoming, warm and comfy enough that we almost didn't want to leave! It felt like a happy home away from home. Also love the location, close enough to walk to the shops on Central Street (and a delightful coffeeshop) and love being such close walking distance to the train to get downtown. Hope to get to stay in the Casita again very soon!! Thank you!

Great location, fully equipped apartment, comfortable bed and a parking space. This is our second visit and we plan to return again. John and Amy were lovely, helpful hosts.

I really enjoyed this space and would come back anytime! It has a nice homey feel and had everything needed for cooking and was also close to nice places to go out to as well. The back patio was very nice to sit outside, especially near dusk when the fireflies put on a show! More than enough space to be comfortable and the design is fun and happy. A very nice area to walk around and not too far from the lake either. It was a great place to come 'home' to after a days work! John was easy to work with and was available if needed. Overall, a really great place and area!

This was our second time staying at Casita Reva. We absolutely love this place. We stayed here last summer for work in Chicago because it was accessible by the subway and close to the interstate. Then we chose to stay there again this summer for an entire week because we really love to owners (helpful, warm and accessible), we love the apartment (it's gorgeous, comfortable, convenient and spacious), and the location is excellent (this part of Evanston is walking distance from the subway but also in a gorgeous part of town with cafes, yoga studios and restaurants all a block away). We are so pleased with this apartment and the owners that we're already planning a 3rd trip for 2018 and plan to stay again. We're two professors who like to be comfortable when we travel, and this play is fabulous! The appliances are in great condition. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom/kitchen are clean and modern. Next time we home to stay for 2 weeks!

Located in the remodeled garage of a typical older Chicago apartment building. Very close - walking distance - to great restaurants. In Evanston, close to Northwestern. Commuter rail to downtown 2 blocks away, EL about a mile away. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lovely outdoor courtyard. Owner lives on site and is very pleasant. Immediately responded to TV issue we had. Would definitely book again when back in Chicago.
