dirty from the parking garage to the entrance to the first room I was put in with my 4 yr grandchild and was too tired to move from the second room due to dirty air vent with dust bunnies and cobwebs room 315 had a middle door that I had to shove on to latch properly, room door had at least an inch space under it, balcony slider latch could not latch and balcony curtain could not close as the white pole to close curtains was leaned up bedside the AC unit and that corner had a white chalk like substance or such. I felt it was unsafe to stay in that room especially with a cold so requested to move.

Booked a king handicap accessible room. Didn't have such room. They did give us complimentary breakfast and parking. Breakfast was pretty disgusting. Once in room went connect charger to wall and power outlet sparked and popped. Tried to called front desk phone didn't work. Went to front desk. Clerk said she would let someone to check it out. Idk if anyone did. She asked if we wanted different room told her yes if it was same room( king size room). She never let us know. We just went about our business.

The receptionist was wonderful! Very kind and helpful, explaining to us everything about the hotel and the city. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable, well equiped (coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge). We received complimentary breakfast and snacks were always available by the reception desk.

I cannot think about something we did not like.

Good breakfast and convenient parking in downtown Evanston. Nice view from room towards the downtown Evanston while it began to snow in the morning during our stay. We stayed at another hotel in downtown Evanston 1 week later, but it is not as good as Holiday Inn.

A little bit away from the downtown Evanston but still ok within walking distance. The front desk could not find my booking when we arrived late at night, but still arranged a room matching the original request/booking. It was all fixed on the very next morning.

This is one of our favorite properties to stay at when we visit our son at Northwestern. It is close enough to campus to easily walk, there are plenty of eateries and shopping also nearby and the staff are very, very welcoming. Also, we find driving into and out of the parking garage like a fun little roller coaster ride lol

We haven't had any issues while staying at this property.

The room is spacious with a beautiful expansive view of the skyline. Comfortable bed.

Breakfast could be better. For some reason, no hot water initially but the problem was resolved by morning..
