We rented from James for Labor Day weekend 2022. He’s a wonderful and right to the point communicator. The home is literally perfect - it has everything you need and it’s modern and clean. We loved the proximity because you can walk easily to Short Sands on Railroad St or you can take the short cut and come right out on Long Sands! Best of both worlds! James’ home has everything you need from laundry to kitchenwares to games. The living room was so comfortable and it has a fireplace with a large TV above with Hulu and other streaming channels. The construction of the building is excellent, solid so it’s quiet and not creaky. All bedrooms have an AC unit, TV and ceiling fans. We will be back. Thank you again, James!

Great house. It has everything one needs. Perfect location for the beach and sightseeing. Nice quiet neighborhood close to everything. Walk to Long Sand Beach and a few outstanding restaurants. The owner was great at communicating through the VRBO app. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time … house was roomy for all our family and our “buffer” friends that joined us here and there throughout the week … IF I had to say something … it would be that the shower stalls needed a soap dishes (which the good ole Dollar Tree came through in a pinch) ;) but really the entire process was easy peasy

We had a great week renting this home. The convenient, short walk to the beach was the best. The home was clean, updated and offered more than we needed for the week. We rented the home with my brother in law and sister in law, combined we have 7 children and had plenty of living space to spread out but hang and dine together nicely as well. Laundry area had soaps and dryer sheets to use, bathroom drawers stocked on toilet paper and hand soaps - all unexpected pleasant surprises that I haven’t seen at other rentals! All bedrooms plus kitchen had window AC units and TV’s equipped for streaming. James was easy to work with and communicate with for our booking and leading up to the rental. Timely responses which I appreciated greatly. Overall beautiful home, minimal outdoor space aside from back deck area unless you can use gravel driveway (our kids too young for that) but deck was great for dining and relaxing on. We look forward to renting here again!

York is the perfect place to experience Maine and all it has to offer. The York Beach house was the ideal house that accomdated all our needs. We plan on returning next year. Thank you for sharing your house.

My wife and I decided to make our 50th wedding anniversary an immediate family affair. We spent two nights at this property, and it was everything it was advertised to be. The home was awesome. The walk to the beach was short and easy with lots of great restaurants nearby. All eight adults and six grandchildren (8-15) agree.

This house was the perfect setting for a bachelorette weekend getaway! It slept and entertained 13 friends and the bride with room to spare! James was an incredibly helpful and attentive host - would love to work with him again in the future!

The property was exactly as pictured. The bedrooms and bed sizes were perfect for our needs. The home is an easy walk to downtown York and the beach but in a quiet area.

Great property for a big family. The space was even bigger than the pictures. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 5 kids. Appliances are all new and work well. Very happy with the house and the owners. High recommend!!

Everything about our stay was perfect! There was plenty of space in all the rooms. Between the 14 of us, it never felt like we were on top of each other. 5 minutes walk to long sands, and an even quicker drive to short sands beach. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to return next year!!!

A BEAUTIFUL home, great sleeping arrangements, plenty of room for our entire family. James was extremely helpful when we needed to contact him. Definitely helped make our vacation the best it could be!

Everyone had their own space!! Worked out perfectly for us, made so many memories and the children loved "their" room! Yes, the road is rough, but for good reason...no one can speed down THAT road!!

This house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 8 month old baby. All couples had their own room even the baby. The layout is great with all bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Enough comfortable furniture in the living room area to accommodate all adults. Layout was also safe for the baby to crawl around without worrying about glass or unsafe furniture. Beds were all very comfortable. We also loved the location which was a short 5 minute walk to Long Sands Beach, our favorite beach!! Communication with host was awesome . We will book again!!

I booked this house for a long weekend with my friends, a group of 10, and we had the best time! The house was very clean, check-in was easy, and the house is just a short walk to the beach which was a big plus for our group. There's a cute farm stand, called Grateful Gardens, just a short drive from the house that we went to every morning for coffee and pastries. I'd definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice, relaxing beach trip!

We had a group of 13 ladies ages ranging from 21-83.this was our 20th year of getting together like this and this house work well for us. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and back when we wanted. We were able to make our meals in the kitchen with no problems., Only one recommendation from my 83 year old aunt was to maybe add some no slip strips or mats in the master bathroom shower.

James’s house was very clean and spacious enough for our 8 person group. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach, and James helped us with local restaurant recommendations that turned out great.

We had a great stay at this property! The house was very well maintained and clean upon arrival. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. I highly recommend this house.

We would return again if possible, thank you. FYI master shower needs attention, tends to leak unless you turn it off very tight. Toilet water closet will continue to run unless you jiggle the handle, valve not closing properly. We found verticles on slider damaged, hard to operate.

Third time staying here with extended family - 8 adults and some youngsters. Great house for it with lots of room and beds, big kitchen, and awesome location. Check-in and communication is phenomenal and house is always clean. Hope to be back again.
