Location is great. House has a good lay out and is very well stocked to make your stay comfortable. Also has a nice fenced back yard which we appreciated.

We booked this for our family vacation with myself, my husband, daughter and son in law and 2 of our grandchildren. Our first visit to St. Augustine for all of us. LOVED the location to the beach! Couldn't get much better than where this cute home sat! The house was centrally located to restaurants, shopping and more. The house was very clean and comfortable and it was great that it had a very secure fenced back yard for the pups. the host was always available to answer any questions via email and always very prompt to do so. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful beach getaway!

Had this property not been so close to the beach, I probably would give it two stars. For starters, they probably need a new cleaning crew. There were obvious traces of the previous guests- The biggest being the king bed having a pile of sand in it upon arrival and a very questionable reddish stain on the pillow sham. We got in pretty late so the owner changed the sheets the next day. The house is functional with cute beach touches, but needs some detailed repairs and updates (windows, front door frame, kitchen sink faucet, dishwasher, garbage disposal…). Beach gear is provided but the chairs are old and rusty. Be prepared to provide your own dish soap and toilet paper after the first one. The best thing about this property is the proximity to the beach and some restaurants.

The house was clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The best thing about it was the outdoor shower, connected through the garage. The kids loved showering outside then straight through the garage to the house. No mess, sand and water in the house. Very short walk to the beach. Nice sand dune system. Beach was nice. Be aware that you can drive on the beach, but that was never a problem. It's controlled and patrolled by law enforcement. The host was very helpful and returned calls or emails very quickly. We plan to rent again.

Had a great visit! You can’t beat the location with the access to the beach! Home was clean and nice, and had great beach chairs, and towels. Definitely would recommend.

Spent spring break with family at this property. Property has great access to beach via short walk a few houses down the street. This part of the beach is pretty quiet. Very safe area. House was clean. Lots of extra towels. Kitchen has everything. Close to grocery store and many restaurants in walking distance for coffee, drinks, and food. Suzanne was very responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our week in this house. Close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Very relaxing and comfortable home. I recommend this house to anyone who wants some R&R at a great beach

Beautiful location and house!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was spotless upon arrival. You really can’t beat the location. We could easily carry all of our gear down to the beach with no problem. The garage has lots of beach chairs, toys, and towels to use. Not having to pack our own beach chairs was definitely a plus! The starter paper towels and toilet paper were appreciated. Plenty of linens were provided. Beds were comfy. We absolutely would stay here again!

My husband and I love this area. We always bring our lab with us because he loves the beach as much as we do. Loved how close this house is to the beach. Highly recommend Mojos Tacos!

My husband and I stayed here for the month of April, with our two dogs. The location is absolutely perfect! The neighbors were quiet and friendly. We enjoyed walks to the beach and the local restaurants/bars. The house had all the basic essentials and the layout was perfect for us and my mother in law, who came to stay for one week. The backyard is fenced in. To access it, you need to go through the garage. At night, it’s very dark and there are no lights, so pack a flashlight. We bought a couple of motion activated solar lights and they worked perfectly. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation.

This property was exactly what I was looking for. Just steps from the beach and a 10-15 minute ride to downtown. The only thing I would recommend is bringing some extra toilet paper. We had 8 people staying for 3 days and 2 rolls was not enough. In addition, if you have a larger party, be aware that parking is only for a limited amount of people. Overall, great stay!

We choose this home because of the great pics, location, fenced in back yard and expectation of cleanliness. We were willing to pay the higher pet fee than most rentals because the owner indicated there would be a deep cleaning to account for previous pets. The location is superb. The bathrooms and towels were nice. The garage was a great place to store our bicycles. The back yard had lots of evidence of previous pets. So much so that we never took our dogs back there (also, there were no outside lights for the back yard). The fenced in yard is something that is important to us (we had dogs) and we were disappointed in the condition, especially for the paid pet fee. A few disappointing things to address. Every bed is worn out. The dining table is sticky. The place-mats and napkins stuck to it. The stove-top is crusted with food debris. We attempted to contact the owner with these issues privately but have gotten no response. We feel obligated to make this a public review.

I could not have been more pleased. First of all, the house was perfect for me and my dog. as well as being very clean. It was the right size and layout for us. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen worked well for us but,in fairness, I never cooked in. There are several cool places for dinner within walking distance worth exploring. Getting to the beach was very convenient...did not have to cross A1A. The beach is at most a 3 minute walk. Also the property owner, Suzanne, is a delight. She provided me with a lot of good local info and she is fun to talk with. If I head to Florida next winter, I would hope to stay here again.

Wonderful cottage on quiet street just steps to the beach. Walking distance to many good restaurants. Cottage was equipped with what we needed for inside and out. Large pet friendly back yard worked well for our furry crew. Abundance of beach towels and beach chairs was very nice benefit. Great restaurant recos and other helpful info from our very polite and responsive owner, Suzanne! Great rental experience and fantastic two weeks!

We enjoyed our 4 days at this beach cottage- it is centrally located to all things St. Augustine- short dune walk to the beach- perfect for families and couples, too. Owner provided everything needed for a beach vacation. We would stay here again!

The home is so comfortable--simple, clean, well-decorated and fully equipped. You can't get much closer to the beach, a very short few steps in a nice neighborhood and you are there! Just a few blocks the other way are the shops and restaurants of A1A....it's a wonderful getaway, especially with family.

The garage was loaded with beach chairs, beach towels, sand castle tools, and carts to bring it all to the beach. The walk to the beach was beautiful, the house was well-kept, outdoor shower was nice. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans in the kitchen. Coffee maker did not work and we had to buy a new one. Beds are very very soft. Nice yard, lime tree in the back and outdoor shower was nice. Close to wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay here and would book it again!

The home is absolutely perfect. Easy check in, Fully stocked house, SUPREME location! Pet friendly was a plus. The walk to the beach is Easy enough to “run back and grab” whatever it is you may have forgotten. A1A is happening yet not overcrowded. Loved all the “parkettes” on our dog walks, too! We will surely be back!

Suzanne's house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable and so close to the beautiful beach. The availability of both beach chairs and towels was a nice extra. We loved the outdoor shower too! Definitely hope to come back.

This house is a hidden gem. It’s only about a 30 second walk to the path that takes you through the dunes and to the beach. The house is bigger than we expected, clean and really well appointed. It’s the only beach house I’ve ever rented with beach towels, beach chairs, and a bike. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook and enjoy meals in. It’s only a few blocks to some great restaurants and the surf shop. And, only a mile to the grocery store. The check-in/check-out process is one of the least cumbersome I’ve ever experienced with a rental house – kudos to Suzanne for making everything so easy!
