What a great trip. Primehook Beach was amazing. The best part of the trip was being sandwiched between the bay on one side and the nature reserve in the backyard. Every way I turned there was a beautiful view. Second best part of the trip was how spacious the home is...three levels of living with endless balconies, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces. I loved the remote location (if you want easy shopping and dining be prepared to drive), the natural beauty, and the easy-going nature of this small and lovely community. My teenage boys loved the trip too. We'll be back.

Jaw dropping views from this magnificent sun filled property! Host thought of everything, from comfy beach chairs, big umbrella, fully stocked kitchen, three tvs’ (but who wants to watch tv when the ocean view is right outside your massive front windows and outdoor porches!)

We stayed for a week in August with 4 adults, 2 kids (1 and 11 months) and 2 dogs. If you have kids I would recommend bringing a baby gate or two for the stairs. We had so much fun! The beach is only a 2 minute walk with an essentially private beach and Ron has a beach wagon already at the house if you’re bringing a lot to the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our 2 dogs. Would highly recommend this home!

I have stayed here multiple times and I can never say enough good things about this home, the location and especially the hosts! Such a safe neighborhood for the kids to just relax and be kids...and more than enough space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable...but cozy and homey feeling at the same time. Checking in is always a breeze and the hosts communication is always timely. I never worry about a thing when I stay here. Relaxing from beginning to end! We can't wait to come back!

In need of some down time, away from hustle and bustle the property and Prime Hook Beach was perfect. The home had plenty of space to relax in with fantastic views from the decks on the from and back. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. A short walk to the beach made it feel we were right on the beach. Already looking forward to returning

If you are looking for solitude.... yet close enough for fun, this is the place. Wanted to get my toes in the sand, and I did... but - the views of Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge were simply amazing!! Sunrise on the beach, sunset on the refuge. Perfection. And - Ron and Ann are the PERFECT hosts! Had a bit of issue, and they were AMAZING in correcting it!!! Stay here!! 10 of 10!

Wow wow wow what a beautiful home everything is just perfect I could live in this house forever until I die it is awesome and Ron is a beautiful person and he takes care of his property and he takes care of his guest I definitely recommend staying here once in your life it's really a nature preserve and it's beautiful and at night and a clear night you can see forever you can probably see another galaxy it's just awesome and beautiful and Ron makes it more enjoyable , peaceful and secure

We had a great time at Prime Hook Beach. Three generations including an 8 month old baby. We all had a good time. The roof top deck was a great place to relax and take pictures, especially at night. The stars and Milky Way were spectacular. The house layout and location were perfect. Ron and Anne were great in answering any question we had about the area. We will definitely be back to Delaware.

Nice location but NOT Water Front or Beach Front. Limited beach access and if you go more than 50 feet to the left or right of the beach access, owners will come out on the beach and tell you to MOVE OFF THEIR BEACH! Not a nice or positive experience

Great weather throughout the week. Ample space for everyone in the family. Owners were quick to respond to questions. Lewes, Rehoboth, and Milton (Food Lion, Walgreens, Dollar Store) are short drives away.

If you're looking for a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the world, this is the place. The house is close to beach access with breathtaking views. The second floor is spacious and perfect for the whole family to gather. The kitchen is lacking some bakeware like casserole dishes and serving bowls but the frying pans are wonderful.

We really enjoyed this home! Fantastic balconies to sit on to view either direction. The one on the roof is spectacular! The set up of the home is unique and spacious. The fenced in yard was so great for our dogs. This is a home I would love to stay in again the next time we visit Primehook.

Our family’s stay at this property was lovely. The views from the decks were incredible especially at sunset. The common area upstairs was spacious, a perfect place for our family to play games, read and relax. The beach was great, very private and family friendly. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the ocean. It was wonderful taking in all the wildlife in this remote gem of a seaside town

The house was just what we needed for a family getaway, dog included! It is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and is in a lovely, quiet location which backs to Primehook Reserve. The yard is fenced to keep your pup safe and it’s a short drive to Lewes and Cape Henlopen. Ron is a great host

We love the birds of the Delaware Bay and this home in a quiet neighborhood is an ideal base. Lots of steps, but when you get up to that top deck on the roof and take in a complete view of the bay on one side and the wetland wildlife refuge on the other side. Wonderful! Appreciated the condiments in the fridge (mustards, mayo, ketchup, salad dressing, relish, etc. Thanks for being pet friendly -- our small hound dog Jasper enjoyed walks on the beach, the fenced back yard and all the wonderful scents coming in to him from the marsh.

This was not our first time choosing this home. We love the location, the views, and the sunsets. The beach is close, and the refuge is adjacent to the back yard. There are so many opportunities for wildlife viewing in the area. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed. We hope to return again.

We stayed at this house three years ago in the fall. We decided to come back this fall because we enjoyed it so much. This is a lovely, dog friendly house with a great fenced in yard bordering the most beautiful nature preserve, steps from beach access though it is not beachfront. The beach is lovely, natural and conducive to long walks with our dogs during this time of year. The kitchen is clean and well stocked, the beds comfortable and has many decks both front and back. So glad we came back.

The backyard was amazing - such a gorgeous view. We enjoyed bike riding everyday and watching the sunset on the bridge. Beach was a bay beach- not ocean - which we enjoyed floating on rafts and relaxing on the beach. E joyed the surrounding areas like rehoboth and lewes and also visited Ocean City and Asateague
Island.

Perfect Getaway!
This home on Prime Hook Beach is the perfect place to get away from it all. Stunning views of the wildlife estuary to the west, complete with magnificent sunsets! Nice view of the DE Bay from the upper floors. Quick and easy access to a nice, sparcely populated beach. This home is laid out nicely giving privacy to folks with great areas to gather together. Fenced in backyard for the pups wis a huge plus for dog owners. All and all a wonderful place to have the fun of the beach in the beauty of nature!
