The pool and yard and back outdoor area were very spacious. We spent a lot of time back there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen stocked with all the appliances, dishes and anything you can imagine you'd need. We absolutely perfect for our stay.

Our family loved our stay in this conveniently located home near downtown Kona. The hosts were very responsive, provided relevant advice during the planning process and were very additive to an incredible trip on the Big Island! Thank you again and looking forward to coming back soon!

This house exceeded our expectations!! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house itself was beautiful and very spacious but the pool and outside wrap around lanai was the best part! We spent the majority of our days outside at the pool if we weren’t at the beach. There were pool toys, beach toys, and beach chairs. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and if we needed anything the property management was a call away. This was a great place for guests of any age, our group ranged from 1 year old- 66 years old. If we go back to the big island we will definitely stay here again!

We can’t recommend this property enough! The location was perfect! Just a few minutes drive from downtown Kona, located on a hillside for a beautiful view, very peaceful, with stunning grounds. We enjoyed our mornings taking in the view with a fabulous cup of fresh Kona coffee, our afternoons lounging at the pool while the kids enjoyed the full range of pool toys and our evenings grilling up a delicious meal. The house was completely stocked including an amazing welcome basket filled with local goodies! The beds and linens were very comfortable, the A/C worked great and there were ceiling fans inside and out. We would definitely book this beautiful home again!

We had a great experience at this house. The location was awesome, great view of the water in a gated, quiet community. Went for a walk almost every morning. The house was just as advertised, very clean with all amenities we needed. The backyard was huge. The house and furniture are starting to show age (specifically the main couch and guest bathroom curtain rod) but everything worked. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family rented this property for 10 days over Christmas 2022. It was perfect for our group of 6. There is plenty of space including a massive lanai running down two sides of the house with one side facing the pool. This made for lovely outdoor dining in the evenings and warm, sunny breakfasts in the mornings. The house is very clean and well-appointed with everything you need for your vacation, even some snorkel masks, water shoes, and a couple of beach chairs in the garage and pool noodles, an air mattress, and some toys for the pool. The 2 bathrooms are a bit dated but not a big deal. We had no problems with the TV channels or with Netflix on the house TVs. The TVs also have Prime video, Disney+ and other streaming apps. if you have an account. There are no shops or convenience stores in the immediate area, but the house is an easy drive of less than 10 mins. to all of the shops and restaurants in Kona and less than a 20 min. drive from the airport. We found that there was plenty of paper towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and dishwasher and washing machine tabs for the entire stay, likely a combination of what the property manager provides and what previous guests had left, although we had purchased some of our own supplies anyway. We also appreciated the multi-spice jar and welcome treat basket provided by Kona Coast Vacations. The spices came in very handy over the vacation and meant that we did not have to purchase separate containers of salt and pepper. The pool is quite large and is a fantastic feature of this property to cool off after a day's activities or just to lounge by during the day, although be forewarned that it is very cold! (But we didn't mind and found it refreshing in the tropical sun). Our only criticisms/suggestions for improvement are that there are only 2 pool loungers for a property that sleeps 6, and the clothes dryer had very weak heat such that each load had to be run 2-3 times to dry fully. It likely needs to be replaced. Overall it was a great stay, and we would not hesitate to book this property again.

Property was new-condition clean and exceptionally well provisioned with all but condiments; S/P only. The lack of a garage door opener was extremely inconvenient. Manually closing the door using the switch by the laundry door, then running out the garage car door before it closes was miserable and needless, particularly at 79 years-old. Also, the main TV in the family room was locked on MSNBC; it would not change channels nor access apps such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, even though those subscriptions exist on the MB TV. It was MSNBC 24/7. Period. My wife watches that channel, but not exclusively, as we were forced into on that TV. The pool is nice, furnishings are good quality, especially for a rental, and very comfortable. 80 gallon water heater is generous. Quiet location. A/C thermostat was management-set at 75 degrees; perfect 24 hour temp. Nice linens and toiletries. Everything in the kitchen is good quality; sharpest knives I've ever used. Dishwasher, which we ran often, is quiet. The large veranda that wraps 1/2 of the house makes outdoor eating an easy pleasure. We enjoyed watching birds frequent the lawn area while lounging in the quality furnishing on the poolside veranda. Location is 6 - 10 minutes from downtown Kona., depending on your destination.

Microwave went out and 30 minutes later we had a new one! Only suggestion is new pots pans as the ones there are awful. The couch was clean but worn out so not comfy. Yard is amazing and pool amazing too! Great place to stay!

We’ve stayed in over 20 VRBO rentals and this one was exceptional! Beautiful home and pool. View also wonderful. Everything went very smooth. House well stocked with anything you need. Maholo

This property was perfect for our family to stay. House was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. House had AC and enough fans for perfect comfort. Plenty of room for all of us and the outside lanai was awesome. We had all our meals outside. Pool was the perfect temperature. We stayed 12 days and really enjoyed the house and island. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was everything we dreamed of and more! We had a wonderful family vacation and hope to visit again someday...would definitely rent again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Holualoa! The property was everything described in the listing! We appreciated the open floor plan and space for our family of 6. The house was well stocked with supplies (toiletries, extra soap, extra paper products, dishwasher pods, etc.)! The pool is a wonderful amenity and the outdoor living space is much larger than we anticipated. This area was truly a family favorite, and we enjoyed many meals and fun time outside. The home provided a perfect view for sunsets during our stay! Overall great location and property! We'd definitely stay again! :)

Although the floor plan is a little strange, the house met all of our needs and the location was very convenient. We had a great time here.

The saltwater pool was used heavily and served as snorkel training grounds for our grandson. The only snag to our stay came on the night of arrival when we discovered we could not get in the security gate. It turns out that the development had recently changed the pass code. A phone call to the property management team resolved the issue in a short time. If this home is available for our next trip we would not hesitate to make a repeat visit.

This rental is seriously top notch. There were 6 of us (4 adults, one teenager and one toddler) and we had such a comfortable stay. This home had everything we needed and more.
