Upon arrival the dishwasher and dryer were running. Shower had used soap and hair in the drain. Not good. Toaster, kettle, coffee maker need to be updated. Not all cups in the cupboard were clean. So basically this house needs a deep clean and attention to kitchen. Bedrooms had not been vacuumed. Otherwise we enjoyed the living room and view.

What's not to love about this house? Ocean, views, hot tub, toys in the garage (darts, basketball game, kites), the list goes on. We'll be back!

Allowed pets, back yard beach access, house is updated

Everything about the home is perfect. Very clean. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Very easy beach access. I wouldn't hesitate to rent the property again!

It should be called "Tsunami Shores" - Sebastion Shores is a creepy little subdivision. There is no guest information provided at Sunset Beach House - nothing about hot tub, television, or where to find things. Hot tub water was not clean. Lots of dust in house. Had to wait all day for hot water in the primary shower. Am really pissed that we paid Vrbo over $400 in fees - for doing absolutely nothing except book us - then paid hundreds more in fees to Vacasa. Vacasa customer service is a joke. Hated this experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

The only think I can complain about is the hot water but then we figured it out. The house was the best by far that we have stayed in and the only one that would allow us to have more than 2 dogs which is very gard to find. But because this allowed it we traveled 5 hrs and we will be back! The hose alone sold us but being right on the beach was the overall feeling point other than how many dogs we could have! My wife and I have spent many special vacations at the Sunset Beach house and love staying there. The house is well-furnished, and you are located right on the beach. It does not get any better.

This house had plenty of space, rooms and layout for the 4 of us and 1small dog. Beds were comfy, lots of towels and extra bed linens. Kitchen had everything thing we needed. Beautiful views.

This place is amazing! While there are a few small maintenance issues that could be fixed (light bulbs out, loud fridge), the location and wonderful home more then make up for it. Our family and, most importantly, our dog were in heaven. The beach is literally steps away. Can’t wait to come back again!

Those home is even more lovely than the photos. We spent two nights there and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect. The home was clean, well stocked and in a good wonderful location with a stunning view of the ocean. There were only two of us, but this would be a wonderful home for a family or three couples. We will be back!

Our family loved the location of this house- right on the water and close to town. We had such a nice stay here!

House is really comfortable for family gathering or 3 couples, with 3 bedrooms with king beds and 3 bathrooms. It is amazing to be able to stay right on the ocean. *One consideration is that during our stay in October 2023, the house next door was under construction. might be some noise, mainly on week days, but workker did show up late Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours to work on the roof.

Shower, hot tub, floors all dirty. Dishes in dishwasher, sheets smelled, blankets were still wet, bathroom sink stopped up and let’s top it off with fire alarms going off at 9pm. Fire dept had to come out and take them down! Was here last April and it’s the best house in Gold Beach but owners need to get maintenance done and hire new cleaners.

A beautiful house right on the edge of the beach. We want to come back here next summer!

House was a great location but could not see beach/surf if sitting in living room. Upstairs balconies were great tho. House smaller than what pictures made it look.

Great location, walking distance to beach. It would have been a 5 star on the location, but there was construction next door which took away from being able to enjoy the patios during the day. Hot tub was great.

A clean, well equipped home right on the beach was a perfect place for our extended family to gather. Was made even better that we could bring along the family dog.

This was our second stay. Well stocked kitchen and unbeatable view from hot tub and bedrooms. We are very likely to return!

House and neighborhood are clean, quiet, and relaxing. The pictures of this house do not do it justice! Our time spent in Gold Beach exceeded our expectations.

Perfect location on the beach, quiet and well maintained

We were playing tour guide and this house made it easy. Beds are very comfortable. The hot tub was one of the nicest ones we’ve been in. We had a great visit.

The home was perfect for what we were doing! Located right on the beach with great sunset views and the crash of the waves to lull you to sleep. Loved the hot tub and the ocean decor. The place was clean, however, I seem to notice the slightest cob web and dirty windows (you can see where the cleaner couldn't reach the top of the slider), but not a deal breaker. The house was nicely stocked with kitchen items for our stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The town of Gold Beach was cute and quaint. We visited a couple of local shops and were pleasantly surprised by the store owners hospitality and kindness. Overall, a great trip.

Would definitely recommend this home.

Reported that the hot tub did not work. Fix attempted. Post stay, I requested a price adjustment to account for the fact that the hot tub did not work for the entirety of our stay. Customer service was a complete and total run around. Non-responsive texts. Tried calling. Call center located outside the US with no ability to respond to the situation at hand, other than say they would have the local team follow up, which is what I have heard for days. Never again with Vacasa!

The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. The house has everything you could possibly need and more. It was clean and comfortable and great for our family of 4. It would definitely be comfy for 6. BUT TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED that the hot tub was a 66 degrees and the water level was below the jets and the hose required a key to operate. Texting the property manager - he said it would heat up once the circuit breaker was reset unless the water level was low - I sent a picture of the water level but nothing was done. We were really looking forward to the hot tub after a 5 hour drive and also during the cold weather. We even bought a swim suit for my daughter who had forgotten hers. It was disappointing to all.

Very nice home, right on the beach. However, we wanted to watch the baseball playoffs and the TV remote did not work, only turned the TV off and on, also no stereo or radio of any kind.

Upon arrival, there were issues getting into the home. We arrived just after sunset and could not see the keypad number so we kept doing it wrong (ok seemed like user error right, stay tuned). There were bugs in the master bathtub (again, not a huge problem, we just washed them down the drain) . There was a ball of hair on the kitchen towel (I’m starting to feel picky, like why am I seeing all this, no huge problems but still kind of gross), then we started to actually look around, more closely. The sliding door jams upstairs are extremely dirty. The vent in the bathrooms are filled with dust. There is mildew and mold in the master shower. There is a large hole in the master ceiling bedroom (when I say hole, I mean like a 6-8” hole in the drywall of the ceiling where water damage and stains are seeping out and flowing down the wall, and drywall tape hanging out of the hole like they attempted to repair this before.) There are mutiple lightbulbs that are burnt out. The porch rail is held together with zip ties. The smoke alarm down stairs is missing. The door bell cover is missing and the wires are hanging out. One of the chairs in the living room has wires sticking out of it that stabbed my leg. The half bathroom door sticks and is hard to open and close. The slider knobs are missing on every light switch. This is probably the worst upkeep on any vacation home I have stayed in. It is disappointing. I wish I could upload the pictures that we took at how poor this homes condition is. I hope they get everything fixed before anybody else falls for this like I did. My husband is currently in the process of speaking with Vacasa regional management to help make this right.

Best house on the block. Right on the beach, with a private hot tub on the porch. Every room has a view as well as a deck. Magical!

Loved the views and the hot tub! Everything you could want was stocked in the kitchen. Definitely recommend!
