Great property, with 7 adults and 5 grand-babies under age 5 the house and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. The pool and lake were amazing, and very little boat traffic on this side of the lake. Definitely will return 👍

We have rented several lake houses over the years but Smoky Mountain Resorts provides the ultimate vacation. Our house provided 5 bedrooms with king size beds, and 2 bunk rooms. Perfect for our family! The house was clean and the kitchen well appointed. Between the pool and the lake, we had lots of options to enjoy. We loved using the free kayaks and paddle boards or swimming in the lake. While the villas are located on the lake’s main channel, there is very little traffic on the lake. Swimming felt very safe. For a break, we enjoyed the beautiful pool. The view of the lake from the entire resort is amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a great time at the property, Josh was very helpful and attentive. The home was a perfect fit for us. We took advantage of renting the Pontoon and tube, as well as the golf cart. I highly recommend renting all items. The pool was a great place for us to hang out and visit as well.

The home was exactly as described and more. We have a family of 16. 2 Grandparents and our 4 grown children with their families. Grandkids ranged from 2-13. The lake home allowed for grown siblings to sit and talk with a beautiful view. The downstairs game room allowed for Mimi to play games with the grandkids. Cousins that did not know each other well became friends. This was a perfect place to relax and build relationships with family. We were all very pleased! We rented a boat for 2 days and the kids and grandkids tubed. To our surprise, there were free paddleboards and a kayak by the marina. The paddleboard pics are some of our favorites. A great place!! Very clean and management super friendly and quick to respond to any request. Our memories and bonding as a family.. priceless!

Great place with magnificent views. It was clean and fresh upon arrival. Cabin had all the basics we needed. Josh was awesome!! Attentive and responsive to our requests. Would definitely book again during the summer months to enjoy the lake.

We loved our stay! It awesome for each of our small families to have their own bathrooms especially because we have teens. There are a ton of steps down to the lake and dock which is to be expected but I’d recommend renting a golf cart to avoid that. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, the only reason I marked 4* on accuracy of listing is because the villa we had does not have a fooseball table like described. Owners were quick to respond, lake was beautiful. We plan on coming back and will stay again!

This is a terrific property with unbeatable lake views. Josh, the property manager was prompt and very attentive and he dealt with the couple of minor issues very quickly. The additional golf cart rental saved the day for us since there was a prior leg injury thus making it possible for all to enjoy all aspects of the property. Would definitely rent here again.

This vacation home is truly excellent. The house is so new, that everything is lovely and clean; there is so much room also, that everyone felt spread out, and had plenty of room between a couple of living areas, and many bedrooms. Great for large groups. And then there's the pool! Wow, whoever designed this infinity pool should get a medal .... the view was phenomenal, the pool area was just lovely, and all in all, the pool is the 'wow factor' that I don't think many places could replicate. On top of all this, the views are sublime, and the location is ideal. We felt like we were "away", which is great (bring all your own food so you don't have to go out to any stores), and I can't recommend this place highly enough. The people that run it were truly lovely also, all in all, a 5/5 experience.

It wouldve been a lot better if we could actually connect to the internet instead of it getting blocked off . Since being in the mountains really don’t give off good service then that would’ve been a thumbs up if we could have connected to the internet even if that meant we had to pay that would’ve been fine too but great stay overall definitely going to come again .

Our family of 18 were very comfortable. Every room is nicely furnished and well decorated. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace for our winter getaway. The staff was friendly and very quick and easy to work with. We would highly recommend.

This property was a good places to stay I will come back but it will be in the summer time so that I can enjoy the swimming pool and the lake.

Every part of this house/property is top notch. The house has a great view, it’s clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The view is lovely. We rented our own boat but the dock had a paddle board and a few kayaks. The pool was clean and has the best view Of the lake! Josh was helpful and available, although we didn’t really need him as everything was perfect! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a great time in staying here! The place was very well laid out and felt spacious. We had 6 adults and 5 teenagers/young adults. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and plenty of bathrooms as well. Spacious kitchen and large table to gather at. Lake views were awesome and pool area was very nice. Rented the boat one day and had tons of fun. I would definitely recommend this place!

Our family had a great time at the property. The pool was amazing! The lake access was close to the rental. The gravel road was tricky to navigate but wasn’t a deterrent when walking to the lake. The other guests were nice which made sharing the pool and dock easy. Josh was very accommodating and answered all of my questions quickly. Would definitely recommend this house!

We all really enjoyed our stay here at Douglas Lake. Our kids loved the outdoor activities and cannot wait to come back someday. Both the lake and the pool were beautiful. Renting a golf cart is a must for getting up and down from the lake, especially if anyone has trouble with loose stone footing. Thank you for the lovely accommodations!

Easy booking process.. beautiful villa, everything you need, perfect for families, loved the deck outside overlooking the lake... they should cut a couple trees down to better see the lake.. the pool was perfect.. that hill to get up and down to the dock was kinda steep... but overall awesome time! I'll start off by saying we had an amazing family vacation. Josh was extremely attentive and provided great service. It was actually the best service we have ever received from any of our VRBO rentals. He responded immediately and even brought us fishing poles free of charge for our use. They also had several canoes and a paddle board for our use which was really nice. There are a few things that could use improvement however. The wifi was hit or miss.The walk down to the dock is very dangerous. It is VERY steep and its all gravel which makes it slippery. We all lost our footing on each of our walks down. We were always worried about the older individuals and the young ones going up and down to the dock. I think the only way to fix this problem is to provide a golf cart for each house's use to get to and from the dock. Another issue is there is only one dock and thus not enough spaces to anchor the boats/jet skis of the tenants, considering there are 4 houses that each hold 16 or so people to share this one dock. The rooms were great with 5 having king size beds and the other 2 having bunk beds. However, it would be better if a couple of the rooms had 2 queen or full beds since not everyone staying at these houses are couples. The kitchen is severely lacking. There was plenty of silverware but only about 6 cereal/soup bowls. The kitchen needs a dish rack, a large strainer, trivets, more large bowls for salads/sides. A first aid kit would be nice as well. At the pool it would be nice if the tables had umbrellas. The pool is a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the lake below. It was very nice to have this pool for our use. This group of houses is pretty far from anything thus since the sole source of entertainment is the lake or the pool, there should be more room on the dock to accommodate more boats/jet skis. Adding a slide that dips you into the lake would be a great add. There's no yard or grass for the kids to play in so this is something they could do instead that everybody would love. Overall the house was great and spacious enough for the 16 of us. We had an amazing time. Just wanted to give some tips for improvement because we hope the owners succeed with these vacation rental houses.

We rented one of several beautiful new waterfront homes in this Smoky Mountain Villa compound overlooking a surprisingly quiet and beautiful Douglas Lake. The house was spectacular - grander and roomier than the descriptions and photos implied. The view from the multi-storied, multi-windowed front wall (and from the semi-surround open porch) was just outstanding. The kitchen was very large and extremely well equipped. The adjoining dining space with a huge table handled all of us, but the tables on the porch were also popular. We took our 6 grandchildren (ages 9 to 14) and three of their parents, and had plenty of room - didn't even use one of the bedrooms! We gave the kids the lower floor with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and with the large game and TV/movie room; they were in heaven, as were their parents and grandparents on the upper two floors! The infinity pool and hot tub were beautiful and popular with our group, but swimming off the dock and using the provided kayaks and paddle boards were the most popular with our grandkids. Several also tried their hand at fishing, but had little luck (not a disappointment to their parents!). The provided cable and WiFi services handled all of our needs. We had a long list of activities we had planned to do in the area (Dollywood, white water rafting, hiking , boating and tubing, etc.) all of which worked out easily and conveniently, but we ended up cancelling several so we could spend more time around the house, pool and dock. Josh, the site manager was excellent and always available, but we never really needed anything. We'll definitely consider renting here again in the future.
