Excellent location and well appointed house.

This house had everything we needed for our quick weekend getaway. It was walking distance to Gruene and the backyard was perfection. We especially loved grilling on the fire and playing horseshoes.

The Yellow Haus and Annabelle's Suite are absolutely gorgeous. Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This property met every need and then some for our family and friend's and their dogs. The house is warm and comfortable from the first step in the door. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing side dishes for our Thanksgiving dinner. Our dogs were very comfortable and safe in the large, fenced backyard. This property is in the perfect location for walking to town and enjoying all Gruene has to offer!

Check in was easy. Communication with the property manager was great. The location was great. We walked to Gruene everyday for dinner and New Braunfels is within a 10 minute drive or less. We enjoyed the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. We rented the yellow haus and Annabelle’s suite together. In the yellow haus there is a very small bedroom with 2 twins that was perfect for 2 kids. The yard is fully fenced and quite large. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio each night under the ceiling fan. Magically there weren’t even any mosquitoes out to bother us! We didn’t cook so I can’t speak to the kitchen but it is open and was very clean. They have a good amount of toiletries in every bathroom. The only complaint would be that the house was hot. We are having one of the worst summers ever but, for full disclosure, the house didn’t cool off until after 11 pm. Up until then it stayed around 80 degrees. They do have ceiling fans in every room, which made it doable. Overall, I would rent this place again.

We rented both the Yellow Haus & the Annabelle Suite. We had a party of 9 & two dogs with us - everyone was very comfortable & pleased with this rental. Great parking, nice neighborhood, and so many great food options just a short walk away. Both units were perfect! Upon entering the house, you are greeted with lots of natural lighting and the houses were both decorated very nicely. The Annabelle Suite was perfect for a family of 3 - the a/c worked amazing in that suite and it had it's own little outside space with a grill as well. The Yellow Haus had a fully stocked kitchen & laundry room, the furniture was so comfortable, and the bedrooms were beautiful. The master bathroom was stunning - the lighting around the claw foot tub was my favorite part of the house! The location was perfect - a few minutes from Schlitterbahn and just a short walk to shopping centers, coffee shops, and great food & entertainment. The backyard was large with lots of seating available and you could hear live music out back as well. Perfect area for anyone traveling with kids. This is definitely one of our favorite houses we have stayed in so far - we would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I rented Yellow Haus for a quick getaway and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and just as the pictures portrayed. The backyard was a great size for our pups and had a grill, fire pit and tons of seating. Gruene Hall is only a very short walk away so it was nice to not have to drive over at night. We will definitely stay here again! Also, don’t miss the great coffee shop, Kora Kora, one block from the house. It’s one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had!

Fantastic house that was close to all the restaurants and shopping.

We were here for a long weekend for my daughter's wedding. The location was a perfect place for family to stop by and hangout while the littles to run out some steam. Fall is a spectacular time to walk around, check out the markets and take long walks. Loved the fire pit at might and the general community. Thanks for a fab time!

It was a great place for all. We had one mishap when I sat on the chair to fix face and chair wicker broke and I fell in chair. Everything else was great.

The location is an easy walking distance to multiple bars, restaurants and shops. The beds are very comfortable and I'd love to know where the mattress in the master bedroom came from. Perfect location for our girls weekend!

The house had everything we needed and everyone love our 6 day stay. Was within walking distance to old town Gruene. So many shows, live music and awesome dinner. We will be going back.

We had a good time and everything was good. Only thing is could be better on cleanliness and beds are squeaky so if you move at all during sleep wake up the other person.

We loved this house so much! There was plenty of room for everyone and then some. The house is perfectly equipped with the necessities. I.e kitchen, bbq, home supplies. We stayed in the backyard most of the weekend relaxing on the porch, around the fire pits, bbqing. It’s an easy walk to Gruene stores and restraints. We will definitely be back soon.

We were in town for my nephew’s wedding, which was very close by at Gruene Estates. The reception was actually next door! Very convenient to the quaint “downtown” of historic Gruene as well!

I reserved this for 10 of my sorority sisters and myself. It was perfect for a girls getaway. 4 Days in Gruene, TX and the Yellow Haus with Annabelle's Suite was more than we expected. Plenty of room, great backyard, perfect atmosphere. Looking forward to getting together with the girls again and making this an annual event.

Our vacation was truly one to remember! Our family of eight plus my sister and her grandson spent a relaxing week tubing, shopping, eating and socializing with the perfect "home base" (Gruene's Yellow Haus). The children LOVED the fenced in back yard and the big boys played horseshoes, washers and grilled up a storm. We were in walking distance of wonderful shops, a winery and awesome food and music. The house was well furnished with comforts of home and we lacked for nothing! We will definitely be back to this little slice of paradise in Texas!

This place is so awesome! Plenty of space, cozy and automatically has that home effect when you walk through the door. So close to everything in Gruene and I hope I get to stay here again! Just spend a great weekend celebrating my husband's 50th birthday at the Yellow Haus and Annabel's Suite. The house is lovely - just like in the pictures and even nicer than we expected. Six couples slept comfortably, and walked to shopping, swimming in the river, dining and great shows at Gruene Hall both nights. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and we enjoyed relaxing on the back patio and front porch as well. The owners were accessible for questions and very helpful. We will add this to our list of great experiences with VRBO properties. I hope to be back next year!

Our stay at the Yellow Haus was wonderful! There was plenty of room for all 12 of us without feeling cramped and the house itself was very accommodating. Everything we needed was there. We loved the short walk to downtown Gruene for dinner. Overall it was a great place to stay!
