I own vacation rentals, and this is the first time I have stayed at a place including my own, with absolutely no supplies, expect a role of toilet paper and 1 roll of papertowels. The house was in need of repairs and not taken care of. This is the third time you wanted a review, and the third time I am sending it.

The house is a little shopworn, but it is a charming well laid out property and the location and price can't be beat. We brought out dog and three children, and we walked everywhere around SSI village. It's not fancy, but it has everything you need. The only time you need to get in your car is when you head to the beach a short drive up the road.

We loved this property location! We walked to dinner every night in the village and shopped their during our down time. We rented a golf cart (highly recommend, and book your golf cart early) and loaded up the kids and beach supplies every day. We love the guilds inlet, east beach and the beach access points on ocean drive too. The property itself is old but charming and the kitchen was fully stocked to cook whatever you need. All of the appliances worked great.

Towels were stained.Real Escape Properties was not interested/concerned with these and other comments.

The “Pink” house was an ideal location for my family as it was only a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Plenty of room for my family and with the family dog. Excellent golf courses only a short drive.

The house next door was occupied by college age "adults" who partied well in to the early morning hours Friday and Saturday night. Don't stay here for GA/FL if you are not in to that. There has been some upgrading done since our last visit in May but the house still needs a lot of upgrading. We have stayed at this house at least 6 times in the past but we will be looking elsewhere in the future.

We had an excellent stay at the Pink House from 2-6 September. The house was clean and all appliances were in working order. The kitchen was excellent with enough cooking and eating dishes to sustain a long stay if needed. There were three TVs in the residence with the largest located in the living area. You must consider the residence is pet friendly so having your pet with you is a big advantage. Our two Labs felt right at home there. Internet was easy to access and stayed operational for our entire stay. The internet was also fast enough to sustain streaming. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and most aren’t going to be perfect. The house outside appearance is a little dated and the rear deck could use maintenance, hence the four-star review. However, those minor deficiencies did not hinder our stay. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return. Location of the property was perfect. It is in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the area, the fishing pier, and the beach. Yes, I recommend this property as the residence is very comfortable and the pricing is reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pink House! It is an older house and not in pristine shape, but we found it to be very nice and had everything we needed. Very well stocked and the location cannot be beat with walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, etc. The only thing that was a disappointment to us was the back yard. It is terribly overgrown and the mosquitos were pretty bad. We did not spend very much time out there and it could be a much more usable/comfortable space with some TLC. Overall, a very nice stay and would recommend!

Wonderful location - easy walk to Pier Village shops, restaurants & Lighthouse. Kitchen & furniture updates since our last visit are great! A little outside paint & yard work would make it perfect! Would not hesitate to return!

If I owned this, I would take one month of solid work to fix everything. New paint is needed throughout as there are different shades of tan/white everywhere. The wood floors need replacing as they are water damaged near the entrances. Pink House is in serious need of a deep cleaning, especially the A/C ducts and ventilation, as dirt can be seen on the ceilings and bathroom vent/fan. (Easy fixes in my opinion). The main shower is fantastic (although it needs a door), the Jack & Jill bathroom, not so great and is super dated. Very nice TV's, very comfy furniture and beds. Kitchen remodel is in process. Landscaping in the back needs to be fixed as the bamboo is totally out of control and takes-up half the yard. The deck has been power washed one too many times and needs NOT go onto that deck barefoot. We were bug free except for one day near the end of the stay and we kicked the bug out the front door (expected in the deep south). Overall, we felt the price was very good for a location so close to the pier...literally a 2-minute walk. The downside is being on the main highway (Kings Way), not ideal for backing out of the driveway. Once inside, you cannot hear much traffic. Overall, we liked the Pink House much more by the end of our stay vs. our first day or two. We'd "probably" rent again, but only after we knew for sure that all upgrades and cleanings have been made.

The "pink house" was a cute cottage close to the village pier area. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed the big living room, the deck and the short walk to the pier.

Best feature is location-short walk to shopping, restaurants, pier and lighthouse! Large living room with big windows looking out on deck/backyard. Older home with original bathrooms and some “well used” furnishings but nothing that would prevent us from coming back.

This property is in the perfect location for our family to enjoy. We don't have to get into vehicles to get to the best restaurantss and entertainment. As great as the location, the property itself needs to be upgraded inside and out. Put simply, it's shabby. Wallpaper is peeling, recliners are ramshackle, yard is overgrown and deck area needs good cleaning and refreshing. It could be a jewel but looks like a Cracker Jack prize.

Was able to park at the house and walk everywhere, morning walks on the beach with our dog and various restaurants. A rare opportunity to relax and not have to drive places to enjoy our time.

The shower with no shower curtain is because it’s one of those large showers where you don’t need a shower curtain. You can even dry off after a shower with older towels. Towels and wash cloths were plentiful. The house is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the village. It is an older home and could use a facelift but it’s very roomy. We had a good vacation and Real Eacapes is always great to work with if there is a problem. If you don’t mind an older house with a few flaws but in a great location this would be a good choice.
