We thoroughly enjoyed our 9-day stay at this condominium couldn’t have asked for more from the experience! The owners have tastefully and thoughtfully furnished the unit, making it the best of the many VRBO rentals we’ve had! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed (generous supply of paper products, coffee for a couple mornings, shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, etc.) — and more (beautiful robes, a welcome basket of goodies…). They have thought of and supplied everything one might need during a stay (batteries, cleaning supplies, flashlights, extra lightbulbs…) and have them stored neatly so that they are readily available, without the unit feeling cluttered. Kitchen appliances were aplenty and of excellent quality, as were all the furnishings. The view from the condo is beautiful, looking directly across the pool area to the ocean. Although not quite as private as the oceanfront unit we rented on a previous stay at this complex, we actually enjoyed this view more. It was more interesting/fun and sunset viewings were perfect! Access to the lovely pool area was also quick and easy. The property location (among other things!) is what brings us back to the complex. We love being able to leave the car in the handy covered garage and walk into town for meals/activities; it is also easy to get to other areas of the island from there. We would highly recommend Steve and Amber’s condo and thank them for making it such a welcoming, wonderful vacation get-away spot!

Our stay was enhanced by thoughtful details, cleanliness, a comfortable bed and stunning sunsets. The online description was very accurate and the Owners Recommendation/Helpful Guide was meticulously created. We are looking forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our stay, Kona Reef is the perfect walkable location. This condo has great ocean view and the pool. We would stay again for sure. He gave us a couple hours of late checkout due to our flight time and we really appreciated it.

Okay, selfishly I dont want to write a glowing review as it's hard enough trying to reserve this unit, but it's absolutely my wife and I's favorite property at this complex. The owners have decorated it very cute and classy, not cheesy with Hawiian nicknacks you often see. The unit has a ton of things for cooking and nice quality dishware and pans. Huge plus is ductless AC unit not only in the common space but also in the bedroom as well which is really nice. Pool/beach towels, snorkling gear, boogie boards, coolers, etc all provided. The unit also faces directly at the ocean so you can (as we do) spend hours watching waves crash against the shore. And probably 75% of the year, you dont even have to leave your lanai to watch the sunsets. The owners have done an incredible job with their unit and are consistently doing some upgrades to always make it better each time we come. The complex is half a mile or less to shopping and restaurants and just a mile into the main heart of Kona; so close we just walk everywhere! The owners are also very easy to connect with and responsive. Just a fabulous unit to make your stay in Hawaii as relaxing and fun as possible.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 weeks in this beautiful condo. It is very well maintained and we felt like we were home. We would be very happy to return again in the future. It is also very well stocked with everything you could need. Steve and Amber have thought of everything! We did need to reach out to the owners a couple of times and they were always quick to respond and very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend this unit! This was the nicest VRBO I’ve ever rented. They had so many things available for us, and the decor added a lot to the feeling of being in Hawaii. Great decision to book with Steve!

While this complex is widely known for its stunning location and convenient access to Kona, this condo does a fantastic job of making sure the little things were all there for our stay. The owners were always very responsive and pride of ownership was evident from the moment we arrived. Its location within the complex was great. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Great spot with easy access to restaurants and sights. The condo is immaculate and has probably the best-equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered! The pool, jacuzzi, and bbq area are very well maintained, and the view is spectacular. The owners were very responsive and helpful, you’ll have everything you need and more!

The space was exactly as described. We arrived just in time to see the sunset from our lanai. We absolutely loved everything about this unit and the location was perfect. Close walking distance to restaurants, shopping and beach. The added amenities were great, especially the snorkeling gear and cooler, which were in excellent condition. Everything you could need was provided. We even grilled fresh fish one day on the grills near the pool. One thing we really appreciated were all the great tips for food and destinations in the binder in the room. The condo was very quiet and stocked with all the comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

My family of four stayed here for 8 nights and had an incredible time! The condo was very comfortable and in an excellent location. It was so nice to park our rental car at the end of a long day exploring and be able to walk to nearby dining and shopping. My daughters ages 13 & 11 slept on the pull out sofa and there were no complaints of discomfort. This is a big deal, haha! The master bedroom was very comfortable and we were very thankful to have air conditioning. My family especially enjoyed all of the beach items the hosts supplied! Beach chairs, mat, towels, boogie boards, coolers, ice packs for the coolers, etc. Although we brought our own sunscreen, there were quite a few bottles under the bathroom sink we could have used. There was even a bottle of aloe gel! Thank you for being such excellent hosts! 🤩

This condo provided all needed for a comfortable stay. The location is prime for entertainment & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed in many rental apartments and this was definitely one of the best equipped. We really appreciated the fact that the apartment had plenty of toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and even shampoo! Also, great to have boogie boards and snorkel gear. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. You are right above pool so it can be quite noisy. Pool needs more shade (only 3 umbrellas). Highly recommended.

The location and view from this condo are great. Nice balcony to watch the waves and the condo had everything we could possibly need. Nice to have things like ketchup, mayo, olive oil, etc. from previous guests available. Bed was super comfy. Sofa bed was… a sofa bed… but comfy enough anyway. Good recommendations in the welcome binder. We had a great stay. Best fish tacos we tried were at Quinns, best nicer restaurant with great fresh fish was Rey’s. Huggos was only mediocre. The best part of our stay was communication with the owners. Lots of great tips and good flexibility during COVID uncertainty. I would come back here in an instant. Thanks Steve and Amber for your great communication and tips for diving. Jacks Diving Locker folks were fantastic. Thanks thanks for the emergency coffee supply and chocolate macadamia nuts. Couldn’t convince my son to try the Spam though. 😬

We really enjoyed our stay here . The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed . We enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony while having our morning coffee. This was a great location. It was close to the stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again .
