Would rent again.

We had a great stay. Loved the place! Monkeys visited a couple times, saw lots of macaws and other birds. Beutiful view and pool was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay in Casa del Sol. The property was amazing and the driveway was as described. Very steep. There were some confusion with taxis not understanding our location-but we don’t speak Spanish to describe. The activities were fun but there was some confusion on how deposits work, transportation to each event and the chef services. However, the chef services were amazing and we would highly recommend.

Loved this property. We stayed at another place last year in Manuel Antonio, this was by far our favorite. It's a little farther from the beach, however taxis and the bus make it very easy to get around. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay. Thanks so much to Gary and David for making our arrival and subsequent stay seamless and every bit perfect!

We were contacted several times before our stay with suggestions on things to do and explore in the area. The rental company contacted me before arrival to make sure who to contact and to get into the home. We loved our stay in the home. Beware the driveway is very steep.

This house sits pretty high on the Hill. The driveway is not for the faint of heart if driving up it, and the walk up will leave you winded unless you are in good shape, and after that are the winding stairs to the front door. Its the first thing you notice and if access is an issue for you or anyone in your party, you may want to reconsider. That being said, you are rewarded with an awesome view your entire stay if you make it inside. The view from the living room, pool, master bedroom, and guest house are outstanding. Check in and out was easy, thanks to David the house manager. He was always a text or call away. He set up our transportation and excursions and all went off without any issue. Heidy- the house cleaner was very accommodating- a very clean house. Mario the driver was professional and always on time. Now I have been lucky to visit Costa Rica steadily for the past 20 years or so. I have stayed there with family and friends in home rentals and resorts. And all of these home rental companies now have this concierge service. Which in my opinion is an amazing service. And every concierge has there go to service providers for Chefs, drivers, etc. So believe me when I say that the Chef at this house recommended by the concierge team, is one of the best! Jorge the chef and Kimberly could not have been more professional and just on another level. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. And really, their personality and attention to detail really made us feel like we were top priority and really got us to start relaxing and just enjoying the local cuisine. I would recommend at least a dinner and breakfast to get the full experience. Really great local people that make you feel welcomed to this house and country- I can't say enough. Ask for them by name if available! As for the house amenities, it had it all. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. Everything worked as it should. We saw macaws, monkeys, and coati. While the neighbors seem like they are close at first glance, once in the house, you barley notice them. I will say the pool is deeper than it looks, in case there are little ones staying here. I will be back to this house. Great House. Great Team. Great Fun. Pura Vida indeed.....

We had a birthday trip to remember at the villa. David was amazing with communication and extremely helpful. We all had a great time. The villa is beautiful and in an amazing location with a great time. We would definitely do it all over again!

Great property for going with family and friends. It is located just a few minutes from Manuel Antonio main road and near small markets.

The photos don’t do justice. This house is beautiful and located within walking distance from supermarkets and restaurants. The views are amazing. We didn’t want to leave the house, it was extremely confortable and loaded with fun things to do. The only drawback is that the kitchen could use more equipment like Teflon pans and pots and a better coffee maker. Other than that you got everything you need. Gary was extremely helpful. He answered all our questions which included best restaurants, best beaches and activities.

Perfect house for our two families with young children (3, 6 and 7). The pool is very private and perfectly located with enough sun throughout the day, and some very welcomed shade in the late afternoon. Going up to park the car is amazingly fun!

The host Gary was very kind and accommodating. The maid came daily and did an excellent job cleaning, making beds, etc. -an unexpected bonus for a vrbo rental. The house is beautiful, spacious! The pool is refreshing! Great views of the ocean. Lots of wildlife all around-saw three species of monkeys, numerous birds, agouti, sloths and iguanas! Overall excellent experience! Only thing to be aware of-the driveway is very steep! And the kitchen was not as well equipped as I had hoped.

The host was very responsive and accommodating. The place was absolutely gorgeous. A lot of space and close by town.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol and the area of Manuel Antonio. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool table and foosball table was definitely a hit with our young adult kids. We would recommend this house for your stay and look forward to our return. PURA VIDA!!!

The place is really nice. It has everything to entertain adults and kids alike - a small pool, foosball table, billiard table. Gary, our concierge was great. He made all arrangements ahead of time, was very responsive and loaded our fridge with the items we had requested ahead of time.Amenities are top notch too. There's on-site laundry. Maid service is included. She comes and cleans the entire place, makes the beds, cleans the kitchen, does the laundry.Now, for the downside. And some of this would be transient until they fix.First the driveway. It's like taking your car up Mt. Everest. Parking 2 cars takes some maneuvering. It's certainly not for a novice. Takes some skill. My friend and I both had 4 wheel drive and it was still challenging.Then the floors. I don't know if they were recently polished but it was like an ice skating rink. EXTREMELY slippery. All 8 of us slipped at some point. Luckily we avoided falling. Yes, we tried with shoes and without. Didn't really matter. Apparently they recently got the floors waxed. So, I would definitely not recommend it for elderly parents or little kids who run around. There's no carpet. so when they fall (and trust me, they most likely will) it could spell disaster. It's highly risky at best.Just based on the floor, I'm giving them a 3 star review. If they fix that, it would be 5 stars all around!Overall a pleasant and nice experience.
