Enjoyed the wonderful home that was provided for us. The home was so kid friendly and welcoming

We took mom, kids and grandkids ages 6yrs to 91 yrs to see the redwoods and NorCal coast. The house and yard were exceptional. Everything you could need. Wish we could stay longer.

We love this property. This is our third stay here. Mike is great and available if we need him. The fenced yard is perfect for our dog. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and love the hot tub! We have family nearby and we gather here to cook or bbq and visit. Beds are comfortable and living room is spacious with plenty of cozy seating. We’ll be back for sure!!!

We really enjoyed our time here. It had plenty of room for our large family. Lots of areas to play games & do puzzles, the back yard area was a huge hit with the hot tub, fire pit and horseshoe pit. The kitchen (and whole) house was very well stocked. The only issue we had was the main bath’s shower faucet was a little tricky and seemed to just need replaced. It was very centrally located to all the activities we had planned.

A great place to unwind after a long day of exploring. The kids loved the kids play area and the hot tub was very relaxing.

Our group of nine stayed here for my mother in laws 70th birthday trip. The home slept us all well and we had plenty of room to enjoy each others company while playing games at the big table or eating meals together. The kids enjoyed the play room and everyone enjoyed the game selection. The hot tub was a big plus! The yard is spacious with a fire pit and horseshoes. The owners have thought of everything you’d need in your home away from home and we were happy to also find a cooler for our day trips and even sand toys the kids took to the beach and played with. The owners are also very easy to get in touch with if needed and very nice. We enjoyed the beaches nearby and hikes in the Redwoods.

I rented the house for myself and two adult children. The house was well located for our plans. It's a beautiful, well kept, and very spacious house with lots of common space, and a very pleasant enclosed backyard that my daughter's dog just loved.

The house was a perfect fit for our family. It was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. The yard was perfect for the dogs and kids to play. The outdoor games, the fire pit, and the hot tub made a perfect ending to a fun day.

Owner is very easy to talk to, always responded promptly. House was Beautiful and well take Care of.

The backyard was an oasis within itself. The house was a place to sleep and hang. The living room was a communal place where we all came together during the day and at night we went into our separate rooms. The kids played in the hot tub for a few hours a day and the adults went in after hours to hang and talk. It is a well used house and makes it so you are comfortable letting the kids walk in and out with there chips and being wet to run in and use the bathroom. The washer and dryer were handy for drying our bathing suits so we didn't have to put a cold wet one on the next day. The aquarium was down the road a few minutes which was so cool, the view on the way down to the drive thru tree was awesome, and there is a movie theater in town. For those tired parents the next day dutch bros in near and for quick run into town there was burger king, safeway, jack in the box, and a mexican restaurant with many other options for eating adn getting things to make at the house. House was spacious and conveniently located. We rode our bikes to everywhere we needed to go in town. Property owners were very communicative and easy to contact with any questions. Thanks!

This house is amazing. The house was clean, well equipped and had comfortable furniture. Our dogs loved playing in the big fenced yard while we enjoyed the spa and fire pit. It was really nice to return to the house after a long walk on the beach or in the red woods.

We found this home to be very clean. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the spa. We bbq’d our dinner nearly every night. Briquettes and lighter fluid was provided. Our dogs also loved being here. The yard is fenced and large enough to run around in. The beach is a very short drive. At night you can hear the sea lions out on the rocks at sea. Very peaceful and relaxing!! We will definitely try to stay here again!

We liked that it was simple and to the point. Very clean and served our purpose perfectly. It was well equipped and owner made constant contact to ensure we were doing good. Customer takes pride in their rental!

We enjoyed the area, the beach, Jed Smith park, and just hanging out at the house. It was fun to play horse shoes, hot tub, roast marshmallows, and play games—all provided. The neighborhood is not the best but I didn’t expect it to be— the city itself seems to be older and run down. But for our family gathering purposes we had a great time. Mike was super responsive and he and his family were accommodating and kind.

We stayed here for two nights, it was nicely decorated and had a nice outdoor space to use. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or issues. We had a nice time.

Great place to stay in Crescent City. Big house with plenty of room and places to sit. Lots of amenities provided; welcome basket with snacks, eggs and drinks in fridge, shampoo, conditioner and body wash/soap. Big TV in living room was a hit with the kids. Nice, private back yard with lights and Bluetooth speakers. The fire pit had wood and was ready to light. Owners gave a lot of thought to what guests would need.

Good location to enjoy the Redwoods. The house is a short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Nice size yard with fire pit and grill. Enjoyed the outdoors and relaxed.

Likes: -Home within walking distance of the beach -Pet friendly -Nice backyard with firepit and Bluetooth sound system -Spacious home Dislikes: -Spa was unavailable. Hosts informed of us this prior to our stay and offered tickets to the community pool and a discounted rate. These tickets were never provided and at this point, no refund for this lack of amenity has been provided. -No internet access. Host contacted the internet company who stated they could not be able to fix it until after our stay. All the tv's are wifi enabled, which meant we could not watch tv while we were there. Members of our party had to cut their trip short because they were on a "working vacation" and wifi was required during their stay. -Garbage disposal was broken upon arrival. (Fixed during our stay). -The water filter in the fridge needed changing. The indicator light was on. Thankfully no one drank water produced by the fridge. -No heat. There is an electric fireplace in the living room, but it was broken. A small, portable heater was provided, but would only be enough to heat one room. -We discovered the dishwasher was broken on our second night. Called the host the next morning and was told by host that he was out of town and couldn't come by until later that evening. There was no communication that evening and the dishwasher remained broken. Our party spent a part of our checkout morning washing dishes by hand.

We had a 5-night stay. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you'll need. The yard is awesome with a great fire pit. Since it's an older home, the water pressure isn't going to rip your hair out, but it does the job. All in all, if we have to be in Crescent City again, we would definitely stay here.

Whenever I visit a place and they have soft, absorbent toilet paper, I know they didn’t scrimp on anything. The house was what is described plus more kitchen supplies and seasonings, bathroom toiletries, lots of chairs to sit around the fire pit, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Nice amenities and house and beds very comfortable.

Nice house, great location in the middle of town, close to everything. The kids really enjoyed the toys that were there and the hot tub!! That was super nice after a day at the cool, windy beach. And the room with four bunkbeds worked great for our family. Only concern was that it was really cluttered. There were a lot of personal photos, personal items, and Knick-knacks and we worried about something being broken by the kids - also, the front door gets hung-up by the floor and can’t be fully opened.

If your aim is to visit the redwoods the home is perfectly located. We found the home comfortable, roomy enough for 4 adults and 3 children. Amenities provided were excellent, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and the required cooking tool. It is located close to a wide variety of restaurants and groceries stores. If, in the future we were to revisit the area, I would happily stay again.
