It was the perfect setting for my kids to meet up with my husband and myself. It was close enough to walk to eat, shop and enjoy the water and yet just far enough to give us the privacy if we wanted. The home was clean and the garden was lovely, many family games were played outback!

This property was great! The location is amazing. You are able to walk everywhere in town. The house was so cute and clean. Had everything you needed to be comfortable. Easy instructions for checking in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

This House has a lovely outdoor garden area but the weather kept the 6 members of our party inside for much of our 3 day stay. Living area is quite small, kitchen area has a bar counter with 4 chairs for eating and playing any games There were a few issues with the house that were brought to Liz’s attention and her response was quick. My first time to visit the area and found Saugatuck extremely charming and friendly city.. Will visit again

Great home inside and out! The gardens outside were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening! Perfect location! Perfect!! Liz responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

House was lovely. Great location. Only thought walking out in front porch there should be a railing or something to let you know there are no stairs that way. Nice house and good beds.

My daughter and I stayed at this property for a an early fall getaway. The house is terrific, very clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Beds are comfy and the outdoor space was so pretty and relaxing.

We stayed in this property to attend our daughters wedding in Saugatuck. We also had family stay with us. The property was clean and just as described. This home is located one block from all the action of saugatuck, so it was easy to just walk right into town, I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a stress-free vacation. In addition, their little backyard is adorable and just the right place to hang out after a long day watching boats and shopping. Plus I appreciated the fully air-conditioned house because the weather got pretty warm. Don’t hesitate to book this one.

Perfect for 3 women.

I was about to give a rating of 5 star . However , on our 3rd day , we had a problem of not being able to lock the side door from outside . Communicated right away to the owner , Liz , who promptly answered my text .She told me her future plans . To make the story short the problem was not resolved . So we ended up going out without this door closed . …In the evening , my hubby had the shortest shower he ever had as there was no hot nor warm water . Again communicated this to Liz and promptly replied . She told us to check the breaker but to no avail . Following day, everyone left withou taking a shower 😌..This is a charming house with excellent location . Hoping these problems will be resolved for the next guests ! Because of the above mentioned issues , my rating is 3.5 stars .

Had a great time at the the Shoebox Cottage! Was obviously recently remodeled. Clean and pretty. Bedroom, bath, kitchen set ups were great for three couples. Nice outdoor space in which to visit. Best of all was the location…just a block from Downtown Saugatuck.

The property met our group of adult family members’ needs. We were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and location was easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and water activities. A lovely stay all around.

The property was in a perfect part of town for our group. The house was big enough for our group of 7 to easily spreadout. The host was very accomodating and made oue stay great! Small note that water heater stopped working on the last night of our stay but I did communicate that with the host. We'll keep this property in the mind for the future!

Everything about this stay was perfect! The location is a short walk to anything you would want to see downtown. The home was super clean and very comfortable. Loved the outside areas too! Highly recommend!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it! Nice backyard setup with tables and chairs to relax. You cannot beat the location. Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants etc. Also check out Oval beach while you stay, absolutely beautiful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The toilets were not clean and clearly missed by the cleaning crew - the downstairs toilet was gross. Also the WiFi is slow and the TV is cumbersome. The outdoor patio furniture was covered in tree sap. Otherwise solid stay and location is awesome.

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations! The house was spotless, beds we’re comfortable, there were plenty of soft towels and we appreciated the toiletries provided in each bathroom. We can’t say enough about the location! It was so nice to walk to everything and so close to all the cute shops and restaurants! We were able to enjoy the gorgeous backyard one afternoon with some wine, cheese and great conversations with the other couple who joined us. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and Comfortable Cottage. Had everything 6 females would need for a weekend stay, from the well equipped kitchen to the comfy beds and roomy bathrooms. The only issue was poor lighting in the sitting area because we couldn’t get the two lamps to work. Location was amazing. Walking distance to practically everything. We all loved our stay and enjoyed every minute. Our host was wonderful and always had a quick response to questions. Thank you Liz!

The house was laid out really well for us and our adult kids. 2 bedrooms upstairs sharing a nice full bath. Main bedroom on lower level with large master bath. Very nicely decorated. It is a cozy space, as advertised. Beautiful inside and nice outdoor spaces also!

Nice stay at Liz’s place and only one complaint about doing laundry at the house. Liz responded that they had had issues with washer/dryer and said you need patience….which we did but frustrating that machine would keep shutting off etc laundry took forever for very small load to do but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

2 friends and I rented the cottage for a reunion. The quality of the home, furnishings, linens etc was amazing. The gardens provided a relaxing space. We would love to return again!

We had a great week in Saugatuck. Great location. A short walk to restaurants, shops, and the park for the kids!

6 adults stayed, very large, lots of room. Great backyard and parking. No room to write in the comment book at the house.
