This cabin was a great lakeside place to stay, The property managers were always available if needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious for 3 people, clean and comfortable. The location was great for our exploration of Lassen Volcanic NP and convenient for a terrific dinner at the Red Onion. Plus the view of the moon over the lake was icing on the cake.

The property on Lake Almanor was perfect. We were able to easily drive to and explore Lassen Volcanic National Park and then have a relaxing and spacious place to stay after a full day of hiking. It was great having 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms yet a nice common area to share. The deck with the lake view is amazing!

Stayed here with my young kids and their grandparents. Loved having easy access to the lake for swimming and fishing. Rented a boat from a company in the same cove and picked up the family at the dock. Very unique experience.

A great short trip. Cabin had everything we needed. View of the lake was fantastic. And the kayak got used everyday.

We love this cozy cabin that meets all our needs. Beautiful lake view with great swimming (floating) area. The deck is a nice size for barbecuing and dining. The location is ideal! Wonderful golf courses, restaurants and we love the town of Chester. Clint and Karen are fantastic hosts.

We love this cabin for our stay. Great Lake views, combined with comfortable and modern convenience. Our only complaint, and only this time, is a non compliant living room ceiling fan. Only seems to know low, and no other speeds. Hopefully, by next year it will be fixed. We’ll be back!

I love this resort, I love the location on the lake, but, I would love to see some updating, the home looks tired. Other than that, I’d come back!

This unit was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed. We love the proximity to the lake. We will definitely find a way to come back. Thanks you Karen and Clint for being so responsive.

This property is definitely one of the prime locations on the lake and very well maintained. Cabins have so many amenities and the canins are fully furnished with just about everything you need for your stay, long or short. The deck is spacious and we love spend time bbqing or having morning coffee enjoying the view. We have been to Lakeside Resort 3 years in a row and definitely plan on going back.

My wife, two children, and two dogs stayed here for six nights in mid June. The cabin was really nice for several reasons. The Almanor Lakeside Resort complex is a great location with a market, a couple of restaurants, and two marinas within close walking distance. There is also a quiet residential street right across Peninsula Blvd that is good for walking dogs. The boat launch ramp and docking slips are very convenient as well. We were able to walk over to the Knotty Pine Marina and then bring back jet skis and a boat (two separate days) right across the cove to get ready for our adventures. Cabin # 5 seems like one of the best choices in the complex with pets allowed, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a view of the lake, which is steps away from the cabin. If you are staying for awhile or planning on extra guests, you might want to bring some extra pillows for the pull out sofa and towels. You might also consider bringing some additional kitchen supplies like foil, Ziploc bags, food storage containers, surface cleaner, etc. as these weren't there during the time of our stay (no big deal). Also, be sure to check out the Buffalo Chips pizza place in nearby Westwood. You won't regret it!

My son and I stayed for a 3 day fishing trip. The cabin was perfect for our purpose. Location is right by the water. The cabin itself has a nice kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms that are fairly modern with all amenities. Only “better if”, is the living room seating furniture needs to be updated and beds/pillows could stand to be replaced.

This is a great cabin with an amazing view. Clint and Karen are wonderful hosts! The cabin has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and having a boat slip is a plus. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Great location - just steps to the water and walking distance to a market and restaurant. Internet access was spotty at best so I would keep that in mind if you plan to work remote while staying here. Otherwise it was a perfect little spot for 3 adults and a dog. I would stay here again.

The stay at the cabin was great. Lots of snow this year made it uncertain if we could make it. Clint and Karen did tons of work removing snow before we arrived. There was plenty of room to park and walk around despite the 5 feet of snow this year. Very cold temps this year, but the cabin was nice and warm, and the automatic fire place made it very comfortable. Thanks again to them for making it possible. Definitely coming back once it warms up.

Very roomy and clean cabin with everything you need! Beautiful views of Lake Almanor and surrounding mountains. Location is great with a store and restaurant across the street. Property has a boat launch as well as a private swimming area at Big Cove. Definitely recommend this property. Karen and Clint are great hosts!

We had a really nice stay at this cabin at Lake Almanor. It has a great view of the lake and is surrounded by other cute cabins. The owners were wonderful to work with and even checked on us twice during our visit. The cabin is clean and in very good repair. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in their cabins. Things to know before you go: take extra paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, and dishwasher soap (limited amounts available). The market across the street is convenient, but expensive! Parking can be a problem during the winter. Our two spots were under about 2 feet of snow and ice and there are limited extra spots. It was very cold during our visit, but the gas stove pumped out a LOT of heat. They provided several space heaters so that we could get the temperature up in other rooms. That worked fine for us. Beds were comfy and couches were nice too. We would definitely stay again.

Hi Karen, Thanks for having us. The cabin was a great, cozy place for us to stay after spending the days over in Crescent Mills. Everything was just fine, only feedback is upon returning both nights the #5 parking spaces were already occupied by a truck in the adjacent cabin, so we had to squeeze in to park by the cabin. We’ve stayed at this cabin a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit! We love that it has two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, and a bbq and deck that overlook the lake. We have a boat so having access to a ramp and boat slip is very convenient. Plus, it’s walking distance to restaurants, a coffee shop, and great store. Not having to drive around makes the trip extra relaxing.

What a gem! This is a great cabin with an awesome view of the lake. The cabin is equipped with pots, pans, dishes and everything else you could possibly need. Its clean, the beds are comfortable and having a boat slip is great! Thank you so much to Clint and Karen.

This is a great find - especially if you have a boat! There is a secure launch and dock for your boat with a small marina to keep the waves down around the whole area. Love this property as it is private and view of the lake. Also, 2 bedroom with 2 bath is a great find too.

We love Lake Almanor, and staying here didn’t disappoint. Feet from the water, everything we wanted was only steps away. The cabin is clean and well stocked. The owners were great to work with. We’d love to come back here!

This is our second time here, and will definitely be back. Perfect for me, the kids, and our pups. The view is beautiful, house has all we need, and nice neighborhood to walk the dogs. Thanks so much for having us
