We enjoyed staying in this house. It was very clean and well kept and the kitchen was well supplied. We liked that we could ride our bikes from the house to the bike trail in Shamrock Park. We would rent this house again.

The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The second refrigerator in the garage and the filtered water and ice maker in the kitchen refrigerator was a welcomed perk to this unit. The house was in a neighborhood that was safe and calm. Pool was warm and clean, but the furniture surrounding the pool was minimal due to the small pool deck space. A previous issue reported in a review regarding towels and sheets has been resolved. We needed one repair that was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. I would recommend this property and consider booking it again.

This home has great potential but we were overall disappointed with our stay. All the linens are worn- holes and stains on the sheets, worn and musty towels, dirty rugs, etc. The dining chair legs were coming loose and we were nervous to sit! The kitchen was overrun with tiny bugs and we discovered the dishwasher didn't work on the second day, after we had it loaded full. I contacted the property manager and he came the next day but neither problem was fully resolved. The pool was great and we enjoyed the living area of the home but I would not recommend this VRBO to anyone traveling to the area.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We have relatives there, and were close to everyone. Also, found some new restaurants. The beach is gorgeous. ... fun for those hot days and warm evenings. The house was quiet and cool and relaxing.

The house and pool was nice. The location was close to everything we wanted to go to. There isn’t cable or satellite tv service, only smart tv apps if this is a concern.

The property is clean indoors and the pool is nice. The negative the exterior and grounds of the property. The positives: the pool, the cleanliness indoors, Bud the host contact, and the location to the Venice waterway park for bicycling. The negatives: the property grounds are not being maintained, there is debris on the garage side of the house, the lawn and landscaping looks nothing like the pictures and is overgrow. The interior is worn in many places. We are planning a trip much like this one for next April and this house is not in the running for the visit. It would not take much to fix this property, but it does not seem to be in the plans.

Close to beaches, lemon bay and shamrock preserves. Rental was nice size for visiting families with an open concept. Bud was a good host and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The house is nice and roomy and close to beaches. When we did have a problem with the pool, Bud responded quickly and fixed it. The water does smell and the house could use a good “spring” cleaning. We would stay here again though.

This was a decent property that was just a bit tired and could have used a deep clean. The water smelled of sulphur the entire week and it really made the house have a faint odor. We had to get water for brushing our teeth as it was just too much. The beds were very comfortable. We also really liked being a short walk from tennis courts and a great walking trail.

The faucet in the Kitchen was broken....the TVs in all rooms were difficult to program...the ice in refrigerator did not work until we finally figured it was turned off... I emailed the owner several times with no response.

To rent the house was easy - we know the house from last year. Everything works because 10 days befores was the bad hurricane…

Few cleaning issues, (grill and clogged sink)when arrived. Property manager came in next day to take care of. Ice maker not dispensing ice but works, and dryer vent was clogged. Overall good stay, would recommend.

This property was everything (and more!) that was advertised! Checking in and out was simple, the house was very clean and orderly, and it was so close to everything we wanted. Previous guests had left multiple sand toys, a cooler for the beach, and even rafts for the pool. It is a MUST STAY and we will be back!

Overall this was a nice place to stay. I would recommend it and stay here again. There were a few issues that the property manager may not have been aware of when we checked in (clogged sink and ants). But it was very comfortable, the pool was great, and perfect location to various beaches. They also let us check in about 2 hours early which was great!

House was very nice. Enjoyed our stay. Beaches are beautiful. Ate at the Crows Nest on the Island of South Venice WONDERFUL food and view! Hope to return sometime!

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was extremely nice. We had an issue with the A/C upon checkin but Bud got back to me right away and helped me resolved the problem.

We had a wonderful time in Venice this Fourth of July weekend! The house was a hit. After the day at the beach finding shark teeth We enjoyed the cool pool and shade! The house was clean and well stocked with the essentials needed to cook and eat. Plenty of towels for beach and bath. There is also a grill there which wasn’t listed on the listing. The people that stayed before have left some sifters for the beach which we used and greatly appreciated using so thank you! We will be coming back soon! Thank you Bud!

We had a nice time here with only one significant complaint. It was communicated in the listing that there was access to the Venice beach ferry that would take you across the jetty to a more private section of the beach. The ferry is only available to owners and home renters in this specific area. I chose this particular property amongst several other options because of this feature. Upon checking for how to access the ferry I learned the rules were changed and that starting Jan 2022, you can only access the ferry if you are renting monthly or longer. This was a big disappoint to my family. Other than that, the place was clean and comfortable and we much enjoyed the pool and all the other nearby beach options. We had fun finding sharks teeth and I made three sifters that I left in the garage since they would have been a pain to take home. Enjoy if you use them!

We had a great stay! This house has everything you will need to have a great FL vacation. We has a minor problem with an appliance and Bud fixed it immediately. I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Home was nice and very comfortable. Had an issue with the internet on arrival, but Bud took care of it by the morning. Enjoyed lounging in the pool and appreciated the comfy seating. Couple notes for the owner: sink in master bath and guest tub need to be cleaned - very slow drains. The ferry pass is expired and is no longer good for guests. Would definitely recommend this place!

I liked everything 👍🏼 The house is big and clean. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need to prepare all kinds of food, even a few spices and oil. Pool is the best place in this house! Sooooo private!!! And SHADY so you can not get burned there! In the garage you can find everything what you need for a beach day, cooler, umbrellas, kids toy set, towels. If you have infant you can ask owner about the crib. The owner responds quickly on all messages. Location is nice too! 10-15 min to all you need… beaches, restaurants, grocery stores… neighborhood is quite.

We booked this home for a girl’s trip and it was just great! The home is fully stocked, pool is lovely, beds are comfortable and Bud, the owner is great! We’d love to stay again sometime :)

My wife and I loved the property. Everything we needed was there for our needs. House was very comfortable. Great location for the beaches, downtown and shopping. We walked in Shamrock Park and went to Manasota beach almost every day. We had breakfast and coffee everyday at the lanai. Talk about a slice of heaven. Bud Johnson is a great host. He is very easy to deal with and he does a great job. . Looking forward to coming back.
