We rented this place for my daughters 18th birthday weekend. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Great location! Great parking. Walking distance from downtown Laguna Beach. We were very happy, we’ll rent again & highly recommend:)

Clean, old style beach cottage. Very easy check in and out. Could use a patio table and chairs out back vs the old picnic table and maybe some beach chairs and a sun umbrella. No instructions as to how to turn on the patio lights and mgr did not respond to my text. Not a big deal. Could use a pedestal fan downstairs and upstairs to help direct the AC air. The fees and charges pushed the nightly cost over $400. Quiet, nice neighborhood and close to everything.

My friends and I loved the cottage! It is very well taken care of. It is in a perfect location. Right down the street from the beach, Ralphs, shops, & coffee shops.

The location of the house was ideal - close to the beach and restaurants. The house itself was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The perfect size for our family. If I am being picky, the upstairs bedroom gets a little warm, but this is easily solved by planning ahead and turning on the a/c unit a few hours before bedtime. We would definitely stay here again!

Location is great for walking to Orange Cafe for breakfast, smoothies right around the corner, a great gym right across the street where you can get day and weekly passes, Ralph’s for groceries and a 10 minute walk into the Village for dining and shopping. The courtyard is very quaint and private. Spent a lot of time there. The cottage is very small with slanting ceilings on the second floor so plan on putting small kids upstairs. The condition inside is very worn. Bathroom and kitchen sink area could definitely use new caulking and some freshening up. Rent this space for the convenience of the location and not so much for the interior of the cottage.

The house is cute, private, and in walking distance to beautiful Laguna Beach. The grocery store and restaurants are conveniently accessible. Definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect place to get away on a weekend or Holiday, short walk to the beach and all Laguna has to offer downtown.

This is the perfect place to sleep if you're just wanting to hang out at the beach all day. It was a little low on extra blankets and towels, so bring some beach towels of your own, and since there's no dishwasher, I'd recommend bringing disposable plates and cups, but otherwise, the beds were super comfortable, and it's been beautifully decorated. We loved being within walking distance of downtown Laguna and a 3min walk to the beach. Since the house is clean, crisp, and white, I also recommend bringing a sleeping mask if morning sun waking you up might be an issue ;) We would definitely book again.

Loved this property and Neil was great to work with! The only drawback is the one bathroom but it worked out fine ! The location is pretty central to everything but the house is secluded and peaceful!! It was a great time!

I want to start by saying thank you for opening up this jem of a home to people looking for a nice get away. Location couldn't be better. Walking distance from everything Laguna has to offer yet tucked away for privacy. Well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bath. If I ever visit Laguna again I hope the dates work out to stay with you again. Very professional care from the reservation until our departure. Mahalo again..

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue beach cottage. Check-in/out procedures and communications throughout our stay were excellent. The location is indeed a short walk to the ocean. There are plenty of stores for shopping and amenities nearby. The unit itself is a small cottage that has been simply refurbished for rental. It is neat and clean. If you're looking to stay in an authentic lived-in residential beach cottage, this is not it. The furnishings, decorations and supplies are more reminiscent of a nice motel suite than a fisherman's shack. We would stay again and will recommend this unit to our friends.

2 couples shared the Blue cottage which was just like the pictures. Very cozy and relaxing. The deck and porch area were also perfect for grilling and relaxing. It is also very convenient and an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants and there are also restaurants even closer. The beach is a short walk and just beautiful. Neil could not be a better host. He answered all my questions promptly and truly cares about his property. I would definately recommend the cottages and plan on returning in the future.

The bungalow is centrally located, allowing us to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go in Laguna Beach, which was great because the traffic was so horrendous! The bungalow is quite small, but there seemed to be just enough room for three people. The house was adequately appointed and was clean and probably recently updated. There is no tv in the house, which I wouldn't normally complain about for a weekend vacation rental, but there was breaking news that would have been nice to watch on tv rather than read about or view on an iPad. Because it's so centrally located, it was not a quiet or secluded place as there was a women's lodge across the street that held two events while we stayed the weekend (one event was a party that blasted rap music until 1:00 am!). I'm sure the price I paid for the bungalow (roughly $300 per night, including tax and cleaning fee) was a good price for the area for three people, but if I had paid more, I would not have thought it a very good value. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found Neil, the owner, responsive to messages through HomeAway's app.

What a wonderful place to stay. It truly is a piece of history along with all the amenities. The cottage was nicely restored with wonderful touches such as the red door, many doors and windows to open to allow the breeze in along with all the little extras. I so appreciated how nice the bathroom was as when I have stayed at other cottages the bathrooms can often be less than impressive. Also another important part was how comfortable the bed and pillows were. A must for me. Not only is it right by the beach, it has an amazing view of the ocean from the front lawn area where we sat outside under the oak tree and enjoy the ocean view. We walked all around town enjoying the local restaurants and then strolled along the beach. All without even having to take our car anywhere. We also enjoyed the local hiking just up the road. Thank you Neil for all you help and being very accommodating.

The Beach cottage was as advertised and the location was great. It was walking distance to the beach and to town and Ralph's is right next door. It was nice to walk to breakfast/lunch/dinner and not have to worry about getting in a car and trying to find parking. We ate at Driftwood Kitchen, K'ya Bistro, Orange Inn....all great restaurants. I'd recommend going to the rooftop bar at K'ya Bistro, the view was amazing. Overall, great stay and would highly recommend. The owners are friendly and very helpful.

We went to Laguna for a few days with 3 moms and 3 daughters as our last hurrah before the girls left for university. The cottage was perfect! So clean and beautifully outfitted, we wanted for nothing. They even provided new blow up air mattresses for us! Great service, great place...We will always remember our girl's trip and hope to return!

Wow!!! This cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything in it was brand-new, it had everything that we needed. The beach was literally down the street with nearby coffee shops restaurants in little boutiques all within walking distance. Neil the manager and his assistant Peggy were extremely helpful; anytime we had a question they were right there to answer it for us. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation and we will be back next year. The Tarr family
