This was our last stay on a week long road trip through Northern California and honestly I wish we had stayed longer. This house was very clean, cozy and in a great location. Minutes away from several parks and the ocean can be seen from the living room.

We wanted our friends from the Midwest to enjoy their visit to the California coast. This home was probably the best choice we could have made. It was beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, close to everything and a view to die for. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to the Mendocino coast.

This house is very special. The property is beautiful. The home is well-maintained and was very comfortable for our party of 5 adults. The owner’s communications was exceptional. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Albion Sunset House.

This was our second year to stay at the Albion Property with friends. The house is clean, great location, views and the kitchen is stocked well with everyday needs. We had 3 kids and 4 adults, plenty of space for all of us to relax and feel at home. Thanks for another great vacation!

Awesome house! Excellent view of the river. House was clean, had lots of space and had everything we needed to feel at home. We liked the CDs and videos available to watch and the piano to play. Lots of unique little spaces like the nook above the living room and game room downstairs. Also we enjoyed the hot tub on the deck! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful well-maintained home and garden , great location, lovely views. Comfortable furniture and beds and plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again and hope to visit again soon

Our group of seasoned kayaking women stayed at this beautiful, well-loved home. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful artwork and pieces through out the home. Wonderful view of Albion river and bridge and the ocean. Great communication with owners. They were very responsive to our questions. Good info posted in the house. House is warm and inviting. There are 10-15 stairs to get into the home, so keep in mind if you have anyone who might find that to be difficult. Great location for paddling and hiking. Loved watching the birds at feeders on deck with food provided by the owners. Great place. I'd recommend!

The home surpassed our expectations! There are countless special things about this house ... 1. THE VIEW ... our favorite place in the house was sitting in the comfortable chairs at the corner window overlooking the ocean with Albion Bridge in the foreground. Fog or no fog, there is so much to observe and enjoy ,,, the pacific ocean, little creatures rollicking in the yard (we saw 2 foxes and a cute little bunny), the coastal landscape with all the trees and the birds, to name a few. ** Be sure you fill up the bird feeders on decks (which the owners so generously provide the seed for), and you will have days of fun seeing all sorts of birds visiting for a little snack. 2. MAIN FLOOR LIVING SPACE - ideal for time spent with family / friends enjoying the views from all the windows, ample comfy seating, large table for meals together and fun games (we brought games, but they have so many, it was not necessary). They also have a great selection of movies for family movie night. 3. KITCHEN - was clean, easy to work in and had all the necessities needed, and beyond. They also provide enough paper towels and such, so you can settle in and enjoy as soon as you arrive. Thank you for that, Dianne and Gary! That isn't always the case at many rental properties. LOFT - was super fun and special! Nice use of space in the home, and the kids LOVED it!! BEDROOMS - ALL were comfy and clean. Nice bed linens and plenty of bath towels, etc Master bed and bath were particularly nice. Beautiful views to wake up to. Quiet and peaceful! SPECIAL EXTRAS - Jacuzzi on deck off main floor with the best views (in good repair, easy to use).. Fire pit area at front of house gives you a whole other experience with its lovely garden setting and has lots of seating for a fun night of visiting with your family / friends. Game room downstairs is nice extra space for the kids to hang out. The home is centrally located to all the area has to offer. OWNERS - Amazing people! Dianne and Gary are easy to communicate with and accessible. They are detailed oriented in all ways ... in communication and the care of their vacation home. It is easy to see they have put so much love and care into this home. I am grateful to owners like this, who generously "share" these little slices of heaven for others to enjoy some valuable time with loved ones, to relax and create lasting and treasured memories. We look forward to our next visit!! Thank you!

Beautiful property, beautiful location. Perfect for our family of 6. We spent time at the house and touring the area. Mornings outside on the front porch/fire pit were perfect for planning out the day, drinking our coffee and watching birds! Evenings in the hot tub and watching the sunset were like something out of a fairytale. We've been let down by properties before, NOT THIS ONE. It's AHHHMAZING! There are coastal views, beach areas, plenty of things to do within a short drive, we ate at Noyo Harbor a few times and that was a fun, non-fussy atmosphere! Mendocino is nearby and we spent a few afternoons there! LOVE IT! We're already planning our next trip!

We gathered here for a magical Christmas. Perfect location close to Mendocino in Fort Bragg. Great hikes and beautiful coastal views everywhere. Many of the local restaurants were closed, but easy cooking in the well appointed kitchen.

This place is just the absolute best! Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and relax. The house itself is super clean and all amenities are nice and new. It has a beautiful view, and is a walk away from a good store and around the area. Such a special place.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Perfect size for 2 families (4 adults, 3 children). Everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies, amazing views, fire pit was perfect for the cool evenings, home was easy to access and located near many activities. Communication with owner was prompt and always friendly. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property about four years ago, and fell in love; it’s a uniquely designed and beautiful home in a spectacular location - close to Little River, with easy access to Mendocino and points north. I cannot recommend it more highly!

We came with some family and close family friends and we can’t wait to go back! The house is comfortable and well equipped, and the setting couldn’t be more perfect. We found Big River beach and went daily - it has so much sea glass! The drive to Fort Bragg was easy and we just had the best time. I can’t say enough good things about this house

Albion Sunset is a very comfortable, well kept home with outstanding views and privacy. The house is supplied with most everything you would need - plenty of paper products, lots of nice plates/glasses and utensils plus numerous pots and pans. It’s convenient to so many trails for hiking, good restaurants and beautiful beaches it can be a challenge (in a good way) to decide where to go and what to do but it also is a perfect place to just sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery and solitude Dianne was an excellent host, accessible and willing to help in any way. The recommendations left at the house that we chose to do were spot on. We enjoyed our stay here and will for sure keep it in mind for future visits to the Mendocino area.

My family (me, hubby, and two young kids) stayed here for a week over Easter 2021. It was the absolute most perfect home to unwind in from a hectic year! So many wonderful touches throughout (board games! Books! Puzzles! Pool table! Jelly beans!) made us feel immediately right at home. We made good use of the kitchen while there and we relaxed in the hot tub daily after days of hiking, exploring and being on the water. The views are spectacular. Everything is as described online and communication with owners was excellent. One thing to add: you can take a windy hike down straight from the backyard. We did this several times! House is big enough for everyone to stretch out. We will be back!

This is a gem. Everything is gorgeous and comfortable and working. The view alone is unbelievable. We had our 5 person family unit stay here, and we did not go anywhere else..there are good hikes from the house, a small but mighty store within walking distance, everything in the house was easy to use and straightforward. We got right to relaxing, and were seriously sorry to leave. We feel so grateful that we got to stay in this lovely home.

We now know where we will stay anytime we head towards Mendocino. The views are beautiful , the house is super comfortable with all the amenities you can imagine. Plenty of pots and pans, spices, A+ appliances and comfortable beds. The nice thing about the layout is that you can have the kids play and stay downstairs and adults can have adult time upstairs. We will be back for sure!!
