Loved the house and plan to make it our yearly destination. it was comfortable and beautiful close to many attractions.. Vacasa however was unflexible and rude. I needed to leave around 11:00 BECAUSE OF MY MEDICAL ISSUE, and still leave the house in very good condition, but was stressed and rushed to be forced to leave at 10 am . It would have cost them nothing to give me an extra hour since there were no other people arriving that day, and the entry time is a late 4 pm . Most places I have rented are 11am and 3 pm. That is more comfortable for the renter. The booking with them also was full of mistakes. we stayed 5 nights.

The perfect setting for us

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and it was perfect! There was so much room and natural light (everything I could want in a home!). The view of the ranch across the street and the ocean were a nice treat. The location was great, close to Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The only issue we had was the cleaning person was there, mopping the floors, 15 min after check in. I was incredibly anxious to check in so I could hang up my dress, so it was a little weird to have the person still there while we unloaded. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our group had a delightful time staying at Albion Ridge Overlook and we can't wait to return. The home is stunning and well appointed, with all of the mod cons. The proximity to everything Mendocino has on offer is unrivaled. We loved being tucked away in Albion away from the hustle and bustle of town or Ft Bragg. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset and then waiting for the mass blanket of stars to appear. Such a relaxing and comfortable stay. My only complaint is that I eventually had to go home...! I highly recommend this lovely rental home.

I am going to start with important advice about the door lock for people coming. Many people have had trouble with the digital lock, including me, but I figured out the problem! They give you a ten digit code to open the lock, but the lock times out if you hesitate for even a second in between hitting the numbers. You have to go FAST! If you go fast it will open every time, but if you hesitate it will beep, flash red, and you have to start over. Go fast!!! Okay, the place itself. Really just perfect! Great location, beautiful ocean views, cool, shaggy Highland cows in the field next door. A small store, deli and a great restaurant less than a half mile away. Lots of good places to eat up the road in Mendocino. The place was immaculate and just like the photos! The only potential downside might be how close the house next door is. It’s very close, but they do have it blocked of with some shrubbery. The three days we stayed no one was at that house. Based on other reviews, I think that is often the case. Maybe it is just someone’s vacation home. Anyway, IF there were loud people in that house, you would certainly hear them. Beds were great! Loved the gas fireplace! Loved hanging out on the deck watching the ocean and stargazing at night. Hard to go wrong staying here😁

Everything about this place was great. It was clean. The view was beautiful. The house is well designed and well laid out. We only stayed for 2 days and wish we could have stayed for a week. It is a perfect getaway in a remote location. We highly recommend this rental.

Great home with wonderful views.

What a wonderful place! Beautiful home; beautiful view! The style was so relaxing and refreshing. The furniture was comfy; the kitchen has absolutely everything one could need - even a crock pot! The bathroom was like a spa. There were also games and books available. We have been coming to the area every year for our anniversary for 25 or 30 years and this is hands down our favorite place! THIS is the place we will now come back to every year and maybe a trip half way through the year too. I felt like I was dreaming.

We loved the house, but had to leave without taking a shower because the power went out the night before we left.

This is a an awesome home with great views. The furnishings are very nice and the property is clean and well maintained. I recommend this property to anyone who enjoys the north coast.

Beautiful house that feels like a home. Fantastic views from every room. Owner really took time to make sure the amenities were perfect. Kitchen and living space were spacious.

We absolutely loved the place. We have AT&T and had no cell service which wouldn’t have been an issue except we loved the place so much we wanted to extend our stay! We booked through VRBO but Vacasa manages the property and there was NO way to communicate (Vacasa didn’t answer emails) short of driving to Mendocino for cell service. There was also a cleanliness issue with regard to the couch which was clearly missed by staff as the rest of the house was immaculate. We reported it and still have had no response.

Exactly what we were looking for.

Nothing but good things to say about our stay at this property. As VRBO owners ourselves, we always have a keen eye on other properties when we travel. With this home, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness, the furnishings and, of course, the view. Can't recommend highly enough and hope that others enjoy this unique home as much as we did.

The simple, basic but well appointed home with a fabulous view was a great place to get away for a few days.

This home was truly a home away from home. Everything was comfortable and as described. View was spectacular and we sat on the deck every evening to capture the beautiful sunsets. Great location for Redwood hiking, Botanical Gardens, Skunk Train, wineries and convenient to quaint downtown Mendocino! We will be back for another visit!! One regret is we didn't stay longer!

Brilliant location, amazing view. Extremely well kept. Relaxing!!!

The property was pristine inside when we arrived. The only negative was a tiny element of the view from the expansive deck - the local critters leave their used food on the covers of the septic system, it would have been nice if those had been hosed off before we got there. Not a very big deal, but offered to make it nicer for the next guests.

I liked everything about this place. The location, with a great view of the ocean, is great. The house itself is quite comfortable, and I really liked the layout and furnishings, all of which struck me as elegantly simple and open.

Beautiful home with spectacular ocean view. Exceptionally designed for two couples. Kitchen very well equipped with pots, pans, utensils. A few basic food supplies like salt and pepper were in kitchen. Very clean. Were sad to leave. The house is almost new and everything worked great.

The view from the back deck is amazing. We were not even aware of neighbors except for cows and horses up the block. The home is very bright and clean, with fantastic amenities. We cook a lot and the kitchen was perfect. The master bedroom doesn't get as warm as the rest of the house, but small issue that won't affect a return visit. We were "working from home" and had some connectivity worries, but we had no problems at all. We did bring a hotspot and used it only once in the smaller bedroom. The beds were super comfortable. I'm used to falling asleep with the tv on and the sleep button engaged, but there are no tvs in the bedrooms. Again, not a big deal. We did know in advance that the fireplace isn't working, but that would have been nice to have. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

TV instructions to be able to get the basic stations would be helpful. They might also want to consider an umbrella for the patio. Other than those two issues we had a wonder time and we will be back. It is a very comfortable place to stay.

This was by far one of my favorite places I’ve stayed with a short-rental. One of the few places I’d love to live.
