Property was nice and clean. Upstairs bedroom needed some sigificant TLC, carpet had burns and curtain was seriously damaged/stained. Hot tub was a good addition and clean. Beware when traveling in the winter months there are several steep stairs as the only entrance. Steep stairs mixed with snow/ice made for trecherous conditions. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Recommend earlier check in time in the winter months. Arriving at dusk/dark with recent snowfall and minimally cleared path created a challenge to get everything in the house.

We loved our stay at the cabin. We had two families with teen boys and dogs. The mountain views from inside and outside are amazing. The master bedroom and upstairs bedroom have million dollar views. The outdoor hot tub was a nice respite after a day of skiing. This cabin was the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever rented. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions.

This house exceeded my expectations. It is 15-20min north of Durango, right off the highway in the trees and mountains. Very secluded and a perfect spot for those wanting to get out of the city/town. I will be coming back. Was a beautiful home/visit.

This property was absolutely stunning! Its in a beautiful area, and is perfect fit for families. The bunk bed room was my kid's favorite part. Communication with rental company was easy and spot on. Highly recommend!

Great house, tucked in the hills on a private drive. We got there in late Feb with easily 3-4’ of untouched snow on the property. Very picturesque.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is about 15 minutes to Purgatory (with traffic) and about 20 minutes to Durango. There was plenty of room for two families with 10 people total and a dog. We got pounded with snow while were there which presented some issues, but we enjoyed our stay. Here are few things to know about the property: 1. While the drive was plowed most days, it is still advisable to have a 4WD or AWD vehicle if there is snow in the forecast. Both of our vehicles had 4WD and we did not have issues, but I can't imagine what would have happened otherwise. 2. The hot tub is hot and functional, but it is also on a lower deck. That makes getting to it during snow accumulation tricky. It isn't a big deal, just something to be prepared for. 3. There is no mud room or garage access. We had to improvise a staging area for our wet stuff when we came in from the snow. Again, not a big deal, but something to be prepared for. 4. There is not porter service that shovels the snow on the deck so be prepared to shovel it yourself. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property.

Everything we needed for our getaway and house is in a beautiful location. The entire experience was great and communication with management was easy. Recommend for couples or families who are looking for a beautiful location for a getaway.

We loved our stay at the Flying S cabin. The cabin was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub. We loved that it was outside of Durango. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. Very close to Purgatory for skiing and snowmobiling.

We had a great time at this home. Very quiet and secluded area off the main road. Lots of trees and backs up to a mountainside. We came with our immediate family. 6 adults and 5 young kids. Therewas plenty of room for everyone and we all had nice places to sleep. Rooms were large. Everything in the house was clean and we'll maintained. The kitchen had every appliance and small appliance you might need. The main floor bedroom gets pretty warm at night. We had to open a window a bit and close the floor registers most of the way. The downstairs room does get a little chilly as some others have said. The kids didn't mind it though. There are plenty of blankets down there. Some of the adults switched spots to sleep where it was a little cooler too. The deck and hot tub are nice. The driveway might be a little hard to get up to the garage door if you have 2WD. We made it up ok on the last day to pack up. Don't park right up next to the garage door after a decent snow and warm up because snow and ice will likely fall on your car hood. The wifi was a little disappointing. It's pretty slow at times. We tried to do a little homework with the kids but it was a struggle. Also it might be helpful to add an extra garbage can for larger families for a week. We ended up throwing a couple bags in the back of one of trucks to take to town at the end of the week. Other than that we had a great time! Would definitely recommend the house!

We unfortunately had a run in with the very unfriendly neighbor who feeds wild turkeys illegal everyday in her driveway. Our dog got loose when we were outside and the dog went over over there when she was illegally feeding the turkeys and she complained to management. Because of that we lost our deposit, even though the house was in perfect shape and the towels were cleaned as asked. She also complained of my adult children sledding on public property near the house. She got in her car and drove by them numerous times looking at them then called management and asked that they leave the area, even though they were not sledding on her property. There was also a dead rotting mouse in the closet. It had been there for at least three weeks, maybe a month in the upstairs closet on top of one of the comforters. I was very surprised that the cleaning person didn’t see it the last time they were there.

This property is outstanding. Great location, outstanding service. Made sure the road and decks were cleared after 2 ft of snow. Plenty of space for our family of 10. Amenities exceeded expectations and property mgmt outstanding and so friendly.
