Quaint property just steps from the beach with spectacular sunset views. Location in a friendly neighborhood setting was perfectfor ourgroup. Cant wait to retun.

We traveled with three young children ages 3-5. This property was great with a great location. Easy short walk to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower and tons of beach toys and equipment. You never know what you’re gonna get but there was a nice beach wagon. No need to bring your own wagon like we did! Lots of beach toys, some basic beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. The beach was great for our family. Calm waves due to the bay location, not crowded at all. Mostly all locals and a few families renting houses near us. The depth was good as well with some sand bars to walk out further into the water. The waters edge had lots of small rocks being washed up mixed with the sand so it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t purely sand. Inside the house had lots of dinnerware and pots/pans, and small appliances. I’ve been to other rentals and haven’t seen as much as they offered. I loved the layout too which maximized the space. The kids bedroom was awesome with a small VHS TV and tapes to let the kids watch. All the beds were comfortable. Lots of linens and towels. The water pressure was not the best but manageable. We never ran out of hot water from the outdoor shower and kids baths. The A/C seemed to work extra hard to keep cool but we never minded. There are fans in all the rooms which helps with the circulation. Across the street was a walking/biking path… a park was one way and an ice cream shop and grocery store was the other way. We would travel there again!

Overall pretty good. Allergic reaction to the linens wasnt fun.

This charming beach cottage is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood by the Chesapeake Bay beach. We were able to access the beach quickly and safely. First Landing State park is a quick drive for hiking and other nature activities.

Great location - quiet and near the beach. Perfect property for a couple. Loved reading on the screen porch. Would definitely go back.

The days were beautiful. The beach was amazing except for the sand being so hot the water was cold but that didn't stop me from enjoying the ocean. The cottage was very cozy and inviting.

I really liked the location, not only a short walk to beach but also grocery store; AND the walking path to state park that was great. The cottage was as stated, a Vintage Cottage, but we liked it!

Super cute cottage literally steps to the beach! My husband and I stayed with our two kids (ages 9 and 11) and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything you need and a great location, away from the gray a bit but close enough to all the action.

Loved the house and location. Nice quiet area steps from the beach. The beach was clean and calm and perfect for our little kiddos. Perfect location close to stores and other entertainment.

We loved the charming beach house. It was the perfect size for us and our teenage son over the long weekend. We appreciated its close proximity to the bayside beach, walking trails, and grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the home was very clean. It was the perfect place for a mini retreat.

We had a great week! Perfect weather. Cute quaint little cottage short easy walk to the beach with three kids and beach cart. House was very clean and just the right size for us. Loved that the beach was crowded and watching the ships pass. Would highly recommend for families with children. Great proximity to store/shops/restaurants.

Family-friendly sized waves, clean, lightly populated beaches, short, one-block walk to the beach, sunsets that the Atlantic Ocean can't offer, Clean & cool vintage cottage. Lynn is always quick to communicate. We love this place so much. You definitely do NOT want to stay here. ;) ;) ;) (leave the reservation spaces open for us!)

It was the perfect place for a family vacation, especially with young children. The cottage was walking distance to the beach, which was very helpful. Stores and restaurants were close by, so that also made it a convenient place to stay. The cottage was cute and cozy, and the perfect size for us. We had a terrific time!

- We got the check in entry door code maybe 30mins earlier than check in time, they could have gave us the wifi code and extra others at the same time but for some reason that was to be advised after we let them know we’re at the property. We entered and asked for it but got wifi code maybe an hour later. I don’t understand why that has to be so secretive, when we paid everything prior and it should just be on display or gave it to us along with the entry code. - the property description with 2 bathrooms were misleading, as the other bathroom mentioned was the outdoor open shower and without the toilet. If we knew it was one bathroom we wouldn’t have booked it. And bathroom was pretty outdated with low pressure shower, so ended up showering once during 2 nights stay and kids were waiting to go home to take another shower. For what we paid we expected a bit better bathroom. Changing only the shower head shouldn’t be that costly. - overall it’s a cute cottage with lot of cute details, even having lots of extra beach towels which we haven’t made much use of cuz of the season. Only exception of the bathroom issues which is usually pretty important for us.

Everything you need for a beach vacation was provided, and then some! Plenty of towels and beach towels plus the added bonus of a beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, surf toys, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses. The AC was a little finicky. It was plenty cool though, sometimes too cool. We did have one minor complaint- the coffee filters provided are stored in the same cabinet as the cleaning supplies. Our first pot of coffee tasted like perfume... But we had a delightful time, thank you!
