Our recent stay in Tahoe was nothing short of magical, and I couldn't wait to share our experience. Nestled amidst nature's grandeur, the house we stayed in was a true gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by its beauty, and the breathtaking views left us in awe. Each morning was a gift as we were gently awakened by the mesmerizing sunrise, painting the sky with hues of gold and pink. Stepping onto the expansive deck, we were met with a panorama that seemed straight out of a painting. It was the perfect spot for savoring quiet moments, basking in the warmth of the sun, and indulging in a bit of birdwatching. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the sense of peace and togetherness we experienced as a family. Whether we were gathered around the fireplace, sharing stories, or simply admiring the beauty around us, every moment felt like a cherished memory in the making. In essence, our time in Tahoe was a serene retreat, filled with beauty, tranquility, and the warmth of family bonds. It's a place we'll hold dear in our hearts, and we're already counting down the days until we can return.

Cozy stay for our family getaway. Nice spot that was pet and child friendly. Some of the furniture could use some updating but the location and view definitely made for a great stay.

Waking up, after arriving near midnight the night before, to the AMAZING view literally took our breath away! The views deserve way more than 5 stars. The kitchen and living room area with floor to ceiling windows also let us take in the spectacular view! The kitchen was well equipped and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. When we come back to Tahoe, we will definitely book here again! We did not want to leave!

Overall, very good. There were some issues with the plumbing making very loud noises at night, spoke with property manager, said they would look into it. Other than that, a very beautiful property, great location, walking distance to Meeks bay.

Spellbinding views and the ambience of the main room made it hard to leave. It’s the best view houses I’ve ever rented With the long daylight hours I wish there was more effective window coverings as I was awake at 5:30 every morning. My only feedback on cleanliness is the outdoor furniture is in very rough shape and did not exactly beckon us to sit outside, which is a shame since that deck is amazing. That said we’ll definitely be back, maybe again later this summer!

Great views and excellent west shore location

Location , location, location. Best view we have ever had .

We also felt like the home could use lots more upkeep, even for a cabin-like place. My main complaint though was that the gas grill provided was a mess. Was very frustrated that I had to start our stay with not only cleaning the grill racks but also clearing out the holes in the burners to make it work. I doubt it's been maintained or cleaned for months. But beyond that, only thing to mention is the view...just amazing. We love Tahoe. :))

Views are absolutely stunning! Great layout. Fully stocked kitchen although we did not cook. We did agree with some of the comments that the view was fabulous but the inside furniture was a bit lumpy and bumpy. That’s the only negative, otherwise the house was perfect!

We had a great time staying at the Penthouse! The view was fabulous, the location was great, and it was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 small kids. It is located between center and west village so it was an easy walk to both. The hot tub was great, the condo was very clean and cozy, and check in was easy. We would definitely stay again!

Yes if you are thinking of renting a nice house with an absolutely amazing view of Lake Tahoe as well as surrounding snow covered mountains. Then this is the perfect place to vacation year round. I would give the view 10 stars if I could. It’s a spectacular view, but understand that’s why you book this house. Although there are 4 bedrooms, I’m glad it was just my wife and I staying. First, all the beds are queens (or bunk beds) and they are the hardest beds I’ve ever had to sleep on. I considered sleeping on the floor for a little extra comfort. At a minimum, they need an egg crate on these beds. I’m guessing they are the cheapest beds they could find and my neck and back are still feeling it 2 days later. Second, the outdoor furniture is terrible. It’s old, dirty, worn, and there’s too much of it. Unfortunately, because the patio furniture was unusable in our opinion, we could not enjoy the view from it except for the many times that we stepped out and stood by the railing. We mostly enjoyed the view from the kitchen and living room which was good for us because the fireplace was a nice touch. Third, there is too much furniture in the house - mainly the living room and deck. Fourth, the cleaning crew is amazing. The house was very clean and it’s not an easy house to clean with all the furniture and light fixtures (think antlers as a chandelier and how dusty that could be, but wasn’t bc of the cleaning crew’s attention to detail). Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay after we came to grips with the items above and looked past them. This house is easily 5 stars if the owner simply took a week’s worth of profit from the house and put it back into it - desperately needs a new paint job inside, new outdoor furniture, new beds (at least a topper), and the downstairs bathroom (which they don’t show in the photos and for good reason) needs a serious refresh.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Check in was easy. The house was clean. View was beautiful and the central lake location on the west side was perfect for us.

We had a great experience. The house was well stocked and completely ready for us. The view was incredible. We all thought the beds were comfortable. We could not ask for a better location. My only complaint were the bad stains on the carpet and couch. However, this did not deter us from a great week.

The view from this West Lake property is stunning and as promised. However, the house is not nearly as nice as it appears in photos and needs a lot of TLC. The walls are badly dinged up and the windows have tape along the edges. The furniture in the living area is pretty junky and mismatched, and the outdoor furniture is old and very uncomfortable. No umbrellas or other shade provided even though the patio gets full sun every day. My impression is that the house is well loved and needs a good refresh. Enjoyed the location and amenities of West Lake, but would not recommend this house until it's updated.

We loved this property. The views are even better than in the picture. It is quiet, off the beaten path but close enough to everything. The open concept made visiting with family fun and easy. The main floor primary bedroom was helpful for a family member with mobility issues since she did not need to go up or down stairs. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and very clean.

Clean, nice view, great family time

Property is exactly as pictured. Easy to get to. Great views. Parking is a little difficult but we were able to fit both of our SUVs. Overall a great stay and would revisit this property in the future

The rental process was smooth and the instructions were very clear from the management company. The location itself is prime, close proximity to ski resorts and other local attractions. The view was outstanding, probably one of the best out there since there were absolutely no obstructions. The wide view of the lake basically made the trip, the location made it super easy for us to travel to different attractions. The only downsides were that the property only had 2 bathrooms, making it a hassle to wait for showers. There weren't any full length mirrors (complaints from the ladies) and the pots/pans were a bit outdated (complaints from the chefs). The master bathroom also needed privacy screens.

Very quiet neighborhood and a remarkable view of the lake. House is very comfortable and highly recommend for a group of friend or families.

This home was perfect for our group! The views of the lake are absolutely incredible and it is just a short drive to the ski resorts. The house had everything we needed and made for a wonderful weekend getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall house with View was Amazing ! Would love to go back! Would like to check in a few hours earlier than 4! The house was stocked with everything you needed and more which I really liked! Had someone come and fix a dishwasher that took 3 hours and we couldn’t cook breakfast until 11 ….. that was a bit to long as the guys where definitely hungry! But the house was wonderful and we loved our time away! It’s only 30 min to south shore and 30 min to north shore! The Market in Tahoma was the best Market EVER!!

We had a great time at the house. Location was convenient. View and fireplace are amazing. Teens and dogs loved playing in the snow. Only downside was broken dishwasher.

The pictures for the listing do not do justice. We were a little skeptical about the view you get at this vacation rental while booking. But it’s actually so much better in reality! This was the best view of Lake Tahoe!

Me and my friends wanted to find a place for 2021 thxgiving at Lake Tahoe. We've been searching on Airb and got no luck on views and prices. However Vrbo saved us. We found this beautiful property on Vrbo. Luckily Stacy replied to us and approved our booking. This house is very big and right located at the lake side. We got very good view of the lake, the mountain and the sky because the property deck is very high, above the forest. At night when the moonlight shed on the lake, and in the morning when you see the whole lake and mountain in front of you, I can only say, you have to come and experience yourself! The rooms are pretty big and BBQ works pretty well. The dining table easily fit 10 ppl. And the inner decor is modern combined with wooden boutique style. Very elegant. BTW this property is pet friendly which beats almost all the lake houses at Tahoe. I'll give 100% to this property but if I have to pick one thing, then it's the bathroom in the master room. The windows have no shades so the neighbors actually can see the inside of the bathroom. But we covered it with towels, so it worked out. But I do suggest adding something to cover the bathroom windows. One thing I regret is that I came to the property late and didn't get a chance to see the host manuals until I left. Stacy made everything clear including house rules, neighborhood, places to visit etc. I didn't notice the garbage part so when we left we had several trash bags inside the door. Hopefully that won't leave Stacy a bad experience. All in all, 100% recommendation!
