Overall, the experience was a 10/10 from start to finish. Andrea was more than responsive and even provided a welcome bottle of wine which was a nice special touch. Terry’s Lake House was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 4 kids who were 8-12 in age). The kids loved the bunk bed room and the other two rooms were sized perfectly for the adults. The main living space was open and sat 8 easily either around the island or main table. Everything was provided, from dish detergent to laundry to coffee and other condiments. Everything was clean and easy to find. While the house was set back from the water, the views were terrific and the boat house was a nice place to relax and fish from or catch a sunset. Nearby is the marina and boat rentals which made it easy to rent a boat or kayak to go around the lake. Lake Placid is 15 min away and provided a nice way to spend the day without having to drive far. Overall, it was a perfect week and I can’t say enough how responsive Andrea was (even had a new propane tank brought out the day it ran out) which made us feel very comfortable. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing getaway to the ADK, this is a great option!!

House is updated and very clean. Included a well stocked kitchen, comfortable mattresses and an open sitting area. The large deck over the boathouse is outstanding for morning coffee, afternoon sun or nighttime stars.

I went with my family to lake house it is amazing !! We enjoyed and the the house was beautiful. The communication with the owner was excellent and they helped you right away in order to you feel comfortable. We love the experience at Terry’s lake house we definitely coming back. Thank you Andrea and your brother for everything.

My family and I stayed for a week at Terry's Lake House and it was perfect! We stayed during renovations to the boat house so we were unable to use it, but it worked out that the Marina was right next door! We rented a boat for 3 days and usedthe upper lock and lower lock to get to Middle Saranac Lake and Lake Flower! It was so much fun and a first for all of us!

Right on the lake, very close to the village, very clean, great kitchen.

My family and I stayed at this property in early August 2016 and we all had a wonderful time. We found the house to be perfectly located to offer peace and quiet at the home while still being very close to downtown Lake Saranac for going out to eat or groceries or anything else.The home and kitchen was appointed with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable and it was very clean when we arrived. The bedroom layout was perfect for us as we had two sets of adults for the main rooms and all the kids shared the bunk room. Swimming off of the dock and small beach was great and the home is next door and within easy walking distance to a marina if you want to rent a kayak or paddleboard or pontoon boat. The next door marina also has a very fun "swim rock" that is available to the public that we visited most every day. It is a rock about 10-12' high next to deep, clear water that the adults and kids all had fun jumping off of. This isn't something that you can tell from the description but we found to be a very nice surprise that we used frequently. If you are bringing young kids I'm sure it is a feature they will enjoy and use. We would definitely rent this property again and recommend it without hesitation.
