Beautiful property and location. We took out whole family for a birthday getaway from my mom. The property had a breathtaking view and all the amenities we could need. Will book here again in the future.

This vacation rental is great for children or elderly, with no stairs and easy beach access from the house. The living room is just light the photos, open to the kitchen and dining room with water views, VERY NICE! Parking is tight, but we made it work with our CRV. Had a problem with the bbq but the management was easy to speak with and sent someone to fix the same day. Hope to stay again next year, we may need another unit too!

Just like the pictures online, this place is so spacious and looks right out to the water, so dreamy with a location that can't be beat! Our 3 children LOVED playing in the sand and water. Heads up parking height limit, but we fit our Tesla easy. 100% be back, can't wait!

So people assume the address on the space is your reserved spot, but no..first come basis. Even a Prius had issues parking and other tenants had no problem asking me to move my cars twice…to accommodate them. The wiring in the condo looks sketchy. The TV in the bathroom looks cool but was not working. The batteries in the remote for the main TV were corroded. The washer has an error code it requires unplugging and replugging rancid blankets were in the washer.

The property offers plenty of space with a nice master suite split from the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and living room offered lots of room. The bayside patio with the 3 movable awnings is a great place for morning coffee, watching the kiddos play in the sand or enjoying cool breezes at night but the WiFi is terrible unless you are inside. It’s a great property with good bones but appears to have been “rode hard and put away wet.” Lots of maintenance items needed which we reported to mgmt. If you are light sleepers be aware that voices, footsteps and chair movement is easily heard from upstairs units. The garage is an oily mess that only fits medium sized cars. Housekeeping was marginal…beds were decent but floors were a sandy mess when we arrived. It’s a beach rental so I guess that’s to be expected. Probably wouldn’t rent this unit again.

This was the perfect home base for our week in Mission Beach! Beds were comfortable, open living area was great for our 9 guests. We walked to breakfast, Belmont Park, and all along the boardwalk on the bay side. It's just a quick walk west over Mission Blvd to the ocean boardwalk where we walked up to Pacific Beach. We walked to rent paddleboards... twice. We even saw dolphins while paddle boarding in the bay! The guys rented jet skis. Just sitting on the patio was so relaxing, plus great people watching. Minor issues: We weren't able to find the extra towels until the 3rd day (in the master bath under the sink). There were fruit flies in the kitchen. Definitely wish I had known about the outdoor shower earlier in the week. Mission Blvd is a little seedy, but I never felt unsafe. There's definitely a homeless issue there. The assigned underground parking was super sketchy. I have a Toyota Highlander which made the height, but the spots were tiny. I ended up parking at the lot on El Carmel. It was an easy and pretty walk to the condo from there, and we didn't need our car much because we walked or ubered everywhere.

My husband loved the 75" tv!! I think the only thing that would have been nice to know was about the street construction going on…super annoying. We had a good time staying here and this condo is the perfect setting in a relaxed atmosphere suitable for families and individuals with physical limitations since it’s a ground floor unit. There is plenty of sleeping room, and the open layout was so awesome. Opens right up to Mission Bay. The kitchen was not well stocked with decent cookware and utensils. I had a hard time finding suitable cookware to even make a bag of Top Ramen - let alone the gourmet meals we were wanting to prepare. Every single pot and pan had more than 75% of the Teflon coming off, the serving spoons were melted and I’m poor condition and the 1 wooden spoon was broken. I did report this to management during our stay, and they quickly brought over some new cooking pans and utensils. The master jet tub Jets do not work, so that was a bummer. Do make sure to lock up all your bikes when staying here, my daughters adult trike bike was stolen right outside our bedroom door! We were bringing it inside, and totally forgot that night- and with all the transients around- it was gonners.

Loved the accordion & patio doors that line the while living room, having the entire ground level patio to ourselves, not dealing with stairs, cool a/c, playing music on the ipad, walking out to the sand, & watching that beautiful 75" tv. My family had an amazing time at Waterfront Getaway 2. Very spacious, with the patio literally inches away from the beach. We would come for another stay without question.

Except for 1 item (we had a problem with one of the window shades but didn't effect our stay) everything was great, thank you!

Absolutely superb! The outdoor patio was where we spent most of our time, which by the way is fully shaded with an awning. The inside was was very open and large enough where all 10 of us could comfortably gather. The location is 5 stars as we were able to walk or bike everywhere. The icing on the cake was the helpful and organized staff.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to escape the Texas heat. It was difficult finding a place with air conditioning and all on the first floor for my handicapped Dad, but we lucked out with this vacation rental. Full ac and all on the first floor as advertised. It looks bigger than what the photos show, and they had a fully stocked kitchen. We needed more towels and the cleaning person brought over more that same day. Great service, location, and accommodations.

It's hard to tell from the photos how large and open the house really is, which was a great surprise! They had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, playing on the beach, and relaxing, plus an awesome music sound system!!! If you're looking for a quieter area this is the place to be. All the neighbors were friendly and our group slept like babies (the Surf Style manager hosts notified us new queen beds were delivered the day we arrived, sooo comfortable!). Hopefully we can bring another family to rent 2 units for next time.

Highly recommend! Our extended family of 17 rented 2 units in this same building and there wasn’t a single negative thing we could say. It was clear from the start that both homes were very well cared for. They had lovely open floorplans that made it perfect for us to gather with each other, fantastic outdoor spaces with a nice bonus having a shade awning downstairs, fully stocked kitchens, super comfy beds, tons of sand toys and boards, and clean clean clean! Having the air conditioning also came in handy (It can get hot even in Nov!). Highlights were the upstairs master bedroom and the huge downstairs patio area. The host was kind enough to provide a list of discounted rental shops and eateries as well as suggestions on fun things to do in the area. We had a wonderful experience and already miss it, we would definitely stay again.

Thank you for a wonderful week of family fun in the sand! We really enjoyed staying at the Waterfront Getaway II. It was a perfect setup for our family of six. We love staying on the floor level with easy access to the patio, boardwalk and ultimately, the bay! So nice to sit on the patio reading a book and sipping a drink while the kids explore, paddleboard, etc. We also liked having the split floorplan where the master was separate from the other two bedrooms. We did hear some foot noise and dragging of furniture from the renters above us, but that is to be expected. The pandora music piped throughout the unit was also enjoyed by all -- the kids loved putting the jazz channel on at dinnertime. Wonderful memories of riding bikes on the boardwalk, paddleboarding on the bay, searching for crabs, playing family volleyball and wiffleball games, nighttime campfires with s'mores, boogie boarding on the ocean waves, building sand castles, and so much more! With close proximity to the ocean and the bay, the Millers really loved renting this unit. We hope to return sometime soon! Thanks again. -Janie

Place was clean, well stocked, and had everything that they advertised. If I had one issue that my guests noticed is that the beds are not the most comfortable. I would recommend replacing the mattresses and box springs. Entertainment system was awesome very hi-tech.

This was simply the most relaxing weekend in a beautiful home. Celebrating family birthdays, there was plenty of room to enjoy each other's company. The music throughout the house was at the touch of your fingertips. The bay side is so much nicer than the ocean side, quiet and peaceful. We look forward to coming back in the future to enjoy this bayside jewel!
