This was our last stop off a two week road trip and it was the perfect last place! One of the absolute cutest places I’ve ever been and Sandy is a great host! Beds were beyond comfy, a super close walk to the pier, a wonderful claw foot tub. My boys and I loved it!

What can we possibly say about Wendy? Do you want to rent a place from someone who is PASSIONATE about her home and Redondo Beach? There is nobody better. BEST rental on any platform by far and it’s not even close.

We stayed with our college age sons (2) over Xmas week, the cottage is really close to my family who lives locally. Wendy was very attentive during check-in and the whole stay. We used the kitchen, washer/dryer, bikes and grill. We walked to the farmer's market, walked to the Pier for happy hour drinks, and cruised the Strand on the bikes to LAX & PV. Owner lives next door so no loud parties or drama - just our style! Great location for the whole family!

I use VRBO frequently and have been lucky to always stay at nice places. This was our last stop on a 3 month retirement trip, so we are experienced travelers. We booked this cottage for 6 nights and left after the first night to stay somewhere else in the area. The cottage is very small and more suited for only 2 people. The second ‘bedroom’ only fits a twin bed against a drafty door and window, with no dresser or closet or room to keep a suitcase. Some windows don’t lock. The sheets were worn out with some stains. This may he a ‘historic’ cottage but that translates to old and tired in my opinion, maybe dinghy ad well. The LV is tiny and futon cover old and worn. Kitchen is tiny with old appliances. We like rustic beach cottages but this was not a well kept place. Owner was not willing to work with us on a partial refund, just kept saying the listing and pictures are accurate. Unfortunately, pictures can look much better than the actual place.

We rented 3 cottages for a weekend for our family to attend a wedding. The location was wonderful, easy access to Veteran's park (great playground), the marina and the strand. Our family enjoyed the close proximity to one another but also having separate spaces. The cottages are historic and charming. Wendy was an excellent host. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Wendy was an incredibly kind host, made us feel right at home. Happily prepared a travel crib and high chair for my infant and toddler. The cottage is very cute and in the perfect location for beach, parks, walks, restaurants- the Thursday morning Farmers Market was really fun! Thanks for a great time- we hope to be back!

First let me start off by saying that Wendy the owner is a lovely person! She greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. Happy and welcoming after a long day of travel is always appreciated. The property itself is beautiful and full of character. It is exactly what we think of when we when we hear Beach House. We thank you for the warm welcome opportunity to be able to stay there. We will be staying here every time we come to SoCal moving forward. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you once again Wendy!

Lovely stay at the cottage. Was fun to run the strand up to the trails in RPV.

We were totally blown away by how fun and well designed this cottage was! Every little detail was so cute and fun, all the bedding was comfy, and it had everything we needed. Communication was fast and thorough too! Highly recommend, and hope to be back some time when we can spend more time here!

Everything was made easy the check the laid back atmosphere the communication was just the right amount to have a relaxing weekend in Redondo.

The moment you walk through the picket gate, the cottage invites you to explore its historic beauty. Wendy has created a fun get away with her creative beach decor. Great location, great experience! Couldn’t be better.

We had a friend and family reunion. We had everything we needed to entertain and accommodate. Wendy is friendly and fantastic hostess. Well located to beach. We went to a music festival nearby, and used Wendy's bikes one day and rented e bikes. Nearby Hermosa is nice too. Would definitely recommend and plan on returning! THANKS WENDY XOXO 😘 🤗 💕

Location is a block from the pier entrance, the landscaping makes for perfect privacy, the house is a bungalow but designed and styled well to accommodate 5 people just fine! Wendy is the nicest host ever and will get you anything you she can to make your stay perfect. Equipped us with beach towels and even had them washed for reuse again for us. Quite literally the best place to call home for a few days in Redondo beach.

Love the location and we stayed mid-week and so it was very quiet and lots of parking. The house was very cute and fit the three of us perfectly. The coffee provided by Wendy was great! The sheets/blankets in the single bed room were a little worn and had feathers flying out. Luckily, I am not allergic to down! Other than that, a perfect beach cottage.

The owner was awesome, making the whole experience wonderful. The historical cottage was quaint and had everything we needed for a casual night of conversation and cooking. Everything was comfortable and cozy!

Charming small cottage, on historic registry, very quaint and a little quirky. Safe and clean, and only two blocks from Redondo Pier. Added feature was a flock of wild green parrots nearby!

This cottage made us feel like we were in the movie Aquamarine living out nest lives. It’s was quaint, and adorable and seriously so fun and such an amazing space
