Good continental self service breakfast. Which was kept spotless. If you can book the sea front rooms in the main reception building, the view is fantastic. Nice kitchen area, fridge, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom.

Very deceiving when booking, photos show beach front but there are two buildings, all with very different views. Our first room was very dark and had not a great view, even though we had paid the higher price online. We asked to move and had to pay more for a beach front view, even though the hotel was half empty. We were told booking.com does not get the allocation of beach front and has to be done directly with hotel. Booking.com has these rooms on their website, misleading for their customers. Made a bad impression.

The hot water was nonexistent in the evening. In the morning, I also had to run the water for 10 minutes before it got warm!

Breakfast was good and the rooms are big and have lots of facilities and separate areas. Robes are nice and the fire was lovely. Hotel and room was clean. Breakfast was good (no hot options if anyone prefers cooked breakfast).

Valet. We would have preferred to park our own car and felt rushed to grab all our things. Didn't like someone else driving our car - not very covid safe. Very expensive hotel and not any better than other cheaper ones we stayed at in the area. Very very noisy at night - we were ground floor right on the pathway and it sounded like people were in our room it was so loud when people walked past. The pillows were very thick and hard so it was uncomfy to sleep but pillows are always personal preference so some may like them.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I loved everything - from the ocean front view/location to the most comfortable bed to the breakfast that was included. everything was superb.

The location is fantastic! Outside my room the US girls volleyball team Workout & practice, lots of great restaurants and bars just steps away!

i’m sorry but this property is really dated from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms, I have heard about this hotel for years I thought it was going to be much more luxe. it’s not and it be so easy to transform my room into a soft beachy vibe instead it had dark carpet dark brown boxy sofa & very basic decor. I think the room was $450 a night. I thought I was getting a beach front room instead it was a beach side room; I had to go out on my balcony to see the beach & look to the side. i’m positive they had many beachfront rooms available too. I found out from the staff that each room is individually owned and that they all look alike. it’s a shame because this place could be super nice without spending a lot of $

we woke up every day with a close view of the Strand, the beach and the pier...not to mention the surf and sun and sky.. walked not more than a couple hundred feet to breakfast up the Strand at Scotty's

I didn't like the fact that time went so fast...next time I think we'll stay for a week or more...

The location is absolutely beautiful and perfect with the beach and ocean in front of the window. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was delicious with a reasonable amount of variety and could be had on a terrace next to the beach (but in the shade). Services were also great - free beach chairs included.

Check-in took quite a while (but that's the downside of arriving in the middle of the night).
